The KING was about 16 or younger, the Chief MAY have been 9 or so. That doesn't mean they were having sex at that age. There was nothing in the film or in their interaction to indicate that was the case. So that's a 7-year age difference, so maybe at 20 and 13 they DID start having sex, or maybe it was later and who cares? Why is that necessarily a bad thing. I was certainly a horny little thing at 13. I don't think the King forced the Chief to do anything he didn't want to do. At the beginning of the film we see them making passionate love; it was a mutual thing. PLUS this was hundreds of years ago. People lived far shorter lives than they do now, which totally alters the age-gap perception, and in many parts of the world older man/younger boy sexual/mentor relationships were extremely common. Think about not trying to shoehorn a centuries-ago relationship into a 21st-century politically correct framework. I mean, you can KEEP doing whatever you want, but maybe give it a thought.
Actually, I don't really care about all the ins and outs of suing. Maybe the dude on the pay-for-subbing place is calling his fee a "donation." Also, regarding pirate sites, on which I'll admit watching quite a bit of content because I can't find it elsewhere, I pay for it in 205 pop-up ads I have to close before and during the flick. lol
Why is it bad that he put his underwear back on?? I don’t see how that would be frustrating …
I didn't defend myself or play the victim. READ. I said I'm not concerned with what you think of me or my opinions. You can feel any way you want, but don't expect me to care. If you think that's rude, I also don't care about that. I suggest you block me. But maybe you're here as the hall monitor?
EXACTLY. Viewers like Arianna seem to think they have an unfettered right to free content. There was a group in one thread who were furious and appalled that someone was asking to be paid for their subtitling work. These people think they are OWED free series, movies and subs.
are there any lgbt characters in this show? ill still give it a shot though
I'm five episodes in so who knows? There have been some gay vibes here and there, unless I'm misunderstanding them, and a major negative connotation, so we'll see yet. There's one relationship that feels a little gay but I haven't figured out yet what that's about if anything. But does it have a clearly gay side-story or something like that? NO
End of episode 2: I'm really not liking BGR at this point. Did I miss something or didn't she just steal her friend's phone out of curiosity and start prying into his personal life? She was on no crusade to save exploited women/girls from exploitation; she was just being a nosy bitch. And THEN she tries to steal his money. Oh and by the way, did I miss something else or how did she figure out the passcode to his phone? What are the odds of that happening? I like the show OK so far but there are too many silly implausible like people running into each other over and over in the giant city of Seoul. And the dad showing up just right THEN and deciding to clean his estranged son's house with a freaking vacuum cleaner, muttering all the while to let us know what he's doing. :P
I'll keep watching, though. It's more good than bad and the acting's pretty good. And I want to know: Are they going to turn BGR's hot male friends into gigolos?
I'm nowhere near your level yet. I would miss so much of why people were doing what they were doing, without subs. I've been watching Asian series and movies about 18 months now and I can definitely tell you what country/language the movie is made in, something I never thought possible when I first found this wonderful world of Asian cinema. And I know some words like "yes, no, please, you, me, mom, dad, asshole, fuck, fucking, etc." You definitely need to know the last three to get thru a Korean flick without subs. Those bastards seem to curse like crazy. And so many Korean characters, from grandma to children, but especially working-age men, seem SO angry and beligerent and resentful in general. Where are you from and do you agree with that?
Stfu stop spreading fake shit first of all its a film. None of this shit is real
"None of this shit is real." That's what you wrote. If you think that expresses what you wrote in the comment above, you need serious writing composition classes.
I gotta agree on the juvenile behavior. If there's one thing I dislike about this BL, it might be this. It's extremely…
I just don't get the repetitious, unoriginal plots? I'm not going to read the novel to find out, but is this really what's in there? Why would the author, the screenwriter, the director, producers, etc., at any point in development of this project, think it was worth writing or making when it plays like a deliberate, note-by-note remake of every other cliche BL in existence? And not in a satirical way. They think this is fresh stuff? I do not understand how this crap gets made.
Is it the existing market of teen fujoshis who honestly enjoy seeing the same thing over and over and over again? WHY do they enjoy that? Why not re-watch the shows you've already seen that are just like this one?
Seriously? Body shaming Nanon and Drake? So ridiculous and disturbing. You are stupid and superficial. Nanon is…
As you can probably tell, I don't care if other people disagree with me. They are free to post as they see fit too. lol My feeling is that 2gether, if it were not for the beauty of the two leads, would be widely regarded as one of the worst-ever BLs. People like my friend above don't like to admit it,, but we forgive a pretty face a LOT. It was the lighter-haired of the two who annoyed me most. TERRIBLE actor. NO charisma. There was no reason all those girls would scream when he came around other than that he was hot. And his eventural BF is far hotter. He didn't even bother to learn to play guitar for the role. MIR is one of my guilty pleasures. That first episode drunken straight/gay sex was hilarious the next morning. I also find the actor who played Tee to be utterly charming and adorable. The second episode, where we have Fuse recovering the next morning, limping around and farting and what-not, was also hysterical. Ridiculous, anatomically incorrect and silly of course, but really funny. :D

I'd read so many comments dissing DTM that I was primed to hate it. But it BLEW me away, frankly. Ohm was wonderful in it, but I did not feel that the second half was somehow a let-down or homophobic or something at all, at least for the most part. That young actress was outstanding in her role and I had no trouble imagining her and Ohm as the same person soul. When she/Ohm ran and leapt into the arms of her/his older soulmate at the train station after she came to fully accept/believe who she/he was, I gasped out loud and cried like a baby. It's the last ten minutes I found annoying because to me there were several other, less drastic solutions and didn't buy that there was some guarantee they'd come back at the same time and place and same age/same sex.
Why on Earth would that stupid foster couple keep so many pairs of brand-new, expensive American athletic shoes in their flimsy storage area? Why would the asshole foster dad and mom not notice that the thefts continued after Bomtae left? Why would they not change the lock and put on a real door? And why would they just not keep an eye out like Bomtae did and stand waiting for YJ after he made one of his supply-runs to the shed? That part of the story was sloppily written.
I'll keep watching, though. It's more good than bad and the acting's pretty good. And I want to know: Are they going to turn BGR's hot male friends into gigolos?
