Actor Gang Dong-Won and veteran character actor Lee Sung-Min are cast in upcoming movie A VIOLENT PROSECUTOR which has already cast actor Hwang Jung-Min in a lead role. Movie will be directed by first time director Lee Il-Hyeong (assistant director in movies "Beastie Boys" and "Kundo: Age of the Rampant").
Filming will begin May 2015 and the movie will be released sometime in 2016 by Showbox.
Story for A VIOLENT PROSECUTOR has Hwang Jung-Min playing the violent prosecutor who goes to jail after being falsely accused of murder. In the prison, he recruits prisoners, including a schemer (Gang Dong-Won), to take revenge on those that put him in jail. Lee Sung-Min will play the former boss of the ex-prosecutor.
