The characters weren't convincing enough, at least for me. There are also a lot of plot holes and twists that are only there for "cheap" reasons. What could have been a very thrilling quest for revenge felt more like drinking flat beer.
As for the mature scenes, they are def. bordering on soft porn. Not that I have a problem with that, it wasn't all gratuitous, as major trigger for the tragic aftermath. "Lust comes hand in hand with destruction" is old news when it comes to Korean cinema. I guess 2014 was "the year" for many A listed Korean actors to join the steamy battle of nude scenes and Jung Woo Sung was up for the challenge...
It's not a complete waste of time, but watching this movie is not a must either.
