Han Eun-soo is an optimistic girl who doesn't pity herself about not having parents but is glad she has her grandparents and brother. She is bright, cheerful and kind, as she stands on her own two feet as soon as possible to take the burden off her mother and gives pocket money to her grandmother.
Jang Tae-Soo is a man with masterful entrepreneurial skills, but with a contentious relationship with his headstrong son, Jang Hyun-Do.
Choi Myung-gil's character is a pleasant and gentle woman who holds a lot of remorse inside. When she learns that Jang Tae-Soo deliberately abandoned her first love as he was dying, she sets out for revenge.
