Written & directed by Oh Seung-Ook -screenwriter for "Green Fish" and "Christmas in August".
Lee Jung-Jae was originally cast for the lead male actor role of Detective Jae-Gon. He suffered a shoulder injury while training for upcoming movie "Big Match" and needed surgery. Thus, he dropped out of the movie and actor Kim Nam-Gil was cast in his place.

Movie depicts the love between the lover of a murder suspect, Hye-Kyung (Jeon Do-Yeon) and a detective (Kim Nam-Gil) working on the murder case. Hye-Kyung waits for her lover, who escaped prior to being apprehended. While waiting for him, she becomes shaken by the presence of an an unknown man. Jae-Gon is the detective who will do anything to catch a criminal. He becomes attracted to Hye-Kyung and becomes conflicted over his feelings for her and his cold-blooded tendencies as a detective.

The movie would have been a good depiction of the hell that DV can put someone through, but the ending annoyed me... the ever acclaimed filial piety, typical when it comes to confucianism, that makes no sense in my book when we talk about verbal, psychological and physical abuse... parents who violate their children's rights have no right to ask for filial piety! Arggh! I think this sends the wrong message!
