Some guests arrived in the middle of my typing a response. I was thinking in the pairs, FL from FFL is kinda similar type of partner / person like ML from MRN. She too handled trauma by moving on and living her life properly. But she has been on the healing path for a long time and lost any bitterness/anger BEFORE she met her sunny shiny lovey dovey ML

but I am sure ML from MRN can catch up fast :) esp since his FL holds a sledgehammer and will BREAK DOWN all his walls real fast :) She is honest and speaks up the truth without being mean, so she gets to him fast :)

ML in MRN is an older person and with a lot more experience - a chaebol, CEO, etc so it is normal that he is more mature etc PLUS he is super complex bc he comes from trauma and some gnarly past lives, and has lived as a traumatized orphan child without love, tormented by his grandpa and the monster brother. IN SHORT, A KID FROM A WAR ZONE IN SEVERAL LIFETIMES and someone with super heavy karmic debt he is paying. VERY COMPLEX.

FROM EARLY AGE HE IS SUBJECT TO MURDER, BETRAYAL, HARASSMENT, LIES, AND NUMEROUS CONTINUOUS ATTEMPTS TO DESTROY HIM.
So he became an isolated "eccentric" shunned adult, tormented by inner rage, bitterness, closed heart, and the inner softness that has no outlet. He is one man against the whole world :) a bitter Robin Hood.... a mean teenage rebel in an educated and powerful adult male body, and he pulls his strings around and slashes ppl ruthlessly - but he is not evil. He is just a mean Robin Hood capitalist monster :)

ML in FFL is someone collecting good karma he accrued lmao He grew up loved... He is a nice kid from a nice family and with nice experiences :) well not quite, he is not naive, he has common sense and life experiences, he is accomplished and he has seen all kinds of stuff but he does not have that much and that wide experience and also that COMPLEXITY as the other ML.

ML in FFL is not wounded. He is 100% healthy SMILEY AND HAPPY BY DEFAULT person. He gets along with everyone, he is pleasant, he is kind and polite, he is like a ray of sunshine and everyone loves him. But he is not stupid, he is stern and fair, he has self awareness, he is direct. But he is NEVER mean

Very different guys :) Underneath, both are the same BUT ML in MRN will have to spend some time to dig it out, and also, he will be subject to being murdered etc, so it WILL take some time. ML in MRN is starting from scratch :) But given his caliber and his abilities, AND his lady with the brutal honesty sledgehammer :) - he is capable of transforming fast.

FL in FFL is actually somewhat an equivalent of ML in MRN, except that she already was doing her inner work and was already well on her way to healing when she met ML, she was already not bitter and angry and 100% closed off. Now she met him and he is just melting all her iceberg walls :) So she will "cook" quite fast with that lovely sunshine ML :) The two of them are gonna cause global warming lmao they are very hot. They are younger and less wounded and less mean and less complex than MRN pair, and more likely to pounce on each other recklessly :)

MRN pair is older and with a lot heavier baggage - which they survived - so they are wiser and more cautious, more calculated and reserved, both of them :)
But for this older pair, she Joseon touching his chest to check, and him hugging her, ARE reckless pounce-on behaviors :)

Both pairs are smart ppl who COMMUNICATE and get things done

In ep 3 FL sees on tv the MLs family
and he remembers when he was 7 yrs old and the older brother came to live with them bc his parents were gone - we dont know what happened with the parents - but we see Chairman VITRIOLICALLY HATEFULLY yelling at ML, calling him foolish idiot with no manners who has no place in Chairman's house. Very very nasty stuff

SO my educated guess is that ML's mother was not approved to marry ML's dad and Chairman hated their kid - and am not sure why the parents disappeared
and am not sure where SML came from, he too had no parents

But it is clear that, from early on, ML was abused by his Grandfather and SML, and Grandfather totally favored and blindly believed SML. And behind everyone's back. SML tortured ML and enjoyed it.

SML is a totally evil slimey whatever he is - a monster incarnate in human body, an alien, whatever he is - he is surely not a human

What was so spooky to me about that scene is that Grandma was so LUCID - she could See clearly, and she saw something very weird and dumbfounding unbelieavable, YET she was so lucid she was willing to look at it. Her facial expression plus camera work made an amazing scene.
She looked like a person who dream walked and opened her closet and found herself eye to eye with an alien. AND SHE HAD THE GUTS TO LOOK IT IN THE EYE and ask questions.... Her lucidity and bravery was super spooky, she was channeling :)

Yeah both MLs are buff but ... DK ML had ... plastic surgery on the eyes??? they looked too big... and the face looked too ... skinny for such big body?.. it kinda looks like major plastic surgery... ??? ML here has a very unique face that looks genuine natural, small slanted eyes, thin lips, etc he looks pretty much normal, no major plastic surgery
and both FL's have kinda big jaw but DK FL has a very small face, small eyes nose lips.... FL here has bigger face, more prominent features, thicker lips, big mouth, , etc her face is a lot more memorable more rustic and stronger features, stronger cheakbones

Ah it started!!!! from the very first scene in ep 9 with the lion. DM looks handsome. He took a shower, his hair is a lot nicer and neater now, somewhat combed and shiny, and his nice facial skin shows, so he looks quite more handsome in the entire ep.

A few more simple external touches and DM will transform into a very handsome guy.

That cardigan scene..... well... sorry... that was a consoling hug at THAT moment but ... hm.. it's not gonna be a hug for too long - which straight male can be there and stay put.... ???!! In a nice warm place that smells good .... I was surprised he stayed quiet this time... perhaps bc it is the first time and his mental state was "almost crying" vibe .... but.... DM is gonna not be too quiet the next time....
