Luckily this drama was better than most and at least FL dumped the other guy and went home and was thinking about calling ML, and she ran to him first - so she did initiate at least something - and he didnt just run there, he was running on a sure bet, he saw her car. SML type is very common in real life :) About 25-30% of population is similar to him... And they are mostly in power positions... politicians, businessmen, leaders of any kind (religious, etc), and of course gangsters are often similar to SML...
They know how to bs and gaslight gray masses and use ppl as cash cows.

SML is a very extreme case, he is a serial killer for the purpose of theft

I saw several episodes of this and was super thrilled - pun intended :) bc this is an AMAZING thriller and ML actor is an AMAZING actor

But when ML acted stupid and ended up in prison under the thumb of that backstabbing slimey WELL CAMOUFLAGED poisonous snake sociopath/psychopath, .... I was scared to continue watching :(
I was busy and had to cut back on dramas for a few weeks, but I managed to catch up on all - EXCEPT this one.

I cannot bear to see ML thrown under the bus and so naive and dumb to not know how to get out. Also, it is sad to see that ML is now a very ... timid gray hair man.... still to this day as an older gray haired Professor, still has fear and insecurity, and has become such a shadow of his old radiant strong self. I feel horrified to see how ML's life was ruined.
ML was strong, alive AND reckless, and the monsters really cut his wings and CRUSHED HIM.

It is nauseating to watch bc I see that situation over and over in real life... There are SO MANY sociopath/psychipath monsters out there in real life, maybe 25-30% of the population and most in power positions - politicians, businessmen, all kinds of "police" and gangsters, all kinds of leaders of anything... ....

and I just cannot bear seeing them win yet again. They USUALLY win in real life. Most people are too dumb to see through them. They wreck chaos under the pretense of being nice, and the public adores them. OR they are brutal and public does nothing out of fear.

SML is a masterful GASLIGHTER he speaks total lies and bs with such authority and most ppl fall for it

We know for sure that Grandpa has NO CLUE what SML *is* and blindly trusts him. That is the conversation between ML and SML in ep 3 when ML finds out that SML is destroying his company (and a few secs after, ML remembers scenes with SML in the past).

So unfortunately, Grandpa ****is**** a dimwit ...totally fooled by lies of SML :( and quite hostile towards ML.

so I suspect that ML's mother was not approved to marry ML's father, that both mom and dad somehow died - and maybe even with SML's parents too... ??? and that somehow Chairman blames ML's mom for their death
