So.... This drama has no official dating and relationship, no steamy scenes YET
ML and FL are hanging out in a very close friendship, helping each heal, and slowly falling for each other...
and at this point they got so far that they are already known to the public as "dating" and dedicated to each other and liking each other.
He is already sure he likes her romantically and is already dreaming about it and flirting to self advertise...
She has some issues that perhaps prevent her from dedicating herself but she acts as his advocate and tells ppl she sees something in him...

But they never said I LOVE YOU or kissed yet or spent time in a private place just 2 of them.

If she wore it with high heels or some kind of fancy shoes and jewelry but all in nice tones, and hair up or down or nicely wavey, it would have looked luxurious and classy, ready for dinner and opera, afternoon tea at the ladies' club, or to Board meeting or something like that

If she put some shiny gaudy jewelry and lots of red lipstick and some "interesting" hair and details, like ... sunglasses and a red sports car, .... it would look like a noir femme fatale

I forgot if that top opens in front? Then it can act as a jacket too, if you open it and wear spaghetti straps with hair down it can even be "resort and beach" sexy outfit

And that ML imo ruined this drama bc he was acting
like someone totally excited to get out of jail and do whatever he wanted. He was acting so recklessly over the top. Yeah it was cheesy.
He luckily got it later and started acting more seriously later and had some good scenes selling the rice cooker, etc But the start was augh and the drama got ruined, the audience got turned off.

I had no idea he was Squid Games actor but when I learned that later, it all made sense

Exactly, pretty and young is needed for the balance in a family drama
pretty and young is not necessarily mature or can act well but it is all forgiven bc they are pretty and young :)
