Awww.... I feel so full. This conclusion felt so apt and didn't feel too sudden or rushed, contrary to what some may say. I love how the writer still managed to use the running joke about shovelling as a way for Hwan to regain the trust of the Byeokcheon people. Tho it was a pity that San couldn't make it to the happy end. I wished that there was a better way for San to redeem himself for hurting Hwan and poisoning him before, but it's still heroic in the end for him to sacrifice himself to save both Hwan and Gang. I have mixed feelings about the Queen/Yeonhee as well. I mean, it's fine and dandy that she punished herself using the same method she originally wanted to put Hwan into, but man... I just, dang... where's your apology to Hwan? I really love this happy conclusion tbh. And it's cute that Myungjin's mum actually came over to check on Ga-ram and grew to like her, enough to consider her as a daughter-in-law. And I love how the fam maintained the main tradition of being the most comedic family till the end www. The princess is also so funny seriously... haha, guess Seung-on was still fated to get a feisty wife in the end. But instead of Jaeyi, it's the princess lol. I also love how everyone at the palace was bullying Hwan to get married to Jaeyi lol. It's almost exactly how I imagined it in my head cos I KNOW someone gonna be so tsundere to not act on his feelings and get Jaeyi to marry him lol. But gosh, it took him a YEAR? Oh my pikachu ❤❤❤❤ And we finally getting a soundtrack sung by Hyungsik? It WAS his voice, right, this time? Cos i been waiting for his for so long muhahahaha I'm so happy. This make up for my feels from the Hwarang anguish! CP Hyungsik gets his girl fair and square ????

Plot involving cults are usually my least favourite, but with the team being so seriously focused in making this mission as occult as possible... it end up pretty decent. Tho it did took me a bit to sit down to properly watch this episode since I can't really watch Jehoon pull his Wang Taozi voice for the monk character. So hard to handle the secondhand embarrassment lol. That said, Hajun finally start to show his true colours, huh?

Gosh!!! We're really near the climax! ❤❤❤ I gotta say that I did worry a bit that the show gonna end up rushing the plot altogether. But so far, things does move at an adequate pacing. I'm probably a minority for thinking the pacing of the plot was just fine, but tonight's episode had been able to connect all the little bits and pieces that had been sowed from the very beginning of this drama. To that I'm very satisfied. To some, it might not be satisfactory... but i had no doubt if this had been a Chinese drama the plot would've been been dragged even longer. I gonna look forward to the conclusion tomorrow. That said, I'm so happy to see that Tae Gang did end up saving Jaeyi. And I'm so glad that Seung-on did not end up making me hate him. And Jaeyi hadn't really acted too reckless since she should be aware of the trap set against her. I mean really... it felt just so exhilarating to see all the bits and pieces that had bit teased out throughout the past 18 episode finally being connected into the big picture now. Esp on the secret rebellion plot. Cos the moment i saw they were sending 'home' a lot of farming tool I knew they were planning something.

Haha.... finally I managed to finish watching this episode fully omg... It took me ages to get over the crack in this episode. I mean, aside from seeing more of Hajun being shady. And gosh... I really can't handle Dogi using his Wang Taozi voice www and now he uses it as an upgrade to his monk character. HahahaSo, a cult scam case this time...not my most favourite plot but I guess with stuff that has been happening in South Korea in recent time, it'd be inevitable for them to feature it.

Omo.... we're really nearing the end, I'm not ready, oh my god! Can't we get a sequel of this story with this pair getting married and the Shield team going around solving mysteries???Haha, Myungjin's really a life saviour with his comic relief... never change! So finally Seung-on find out everything.... but really, I don't wanna start hating him now. I mean, something I noticed even from the beginning was that... Seung-on did have quite a rigid line of though. And expected, he continued thinking that as long as he had that consent letter that means Jaeyi was his, and disregarding what she'd would want instead. Gosh, I really dun wanna dislike the guy now... really.So that theory about Myung-ahn rang true! But honestly... why these people targeted Hwan omg... he's damn innocent in all of this. Bet the Queen intended to use the fish eggs to make Hwan go crazy. Cos that's what remained in that ghost's letters predictions. Aaa dammit.Not gonna comment about Jaeyi picking up the knife, cos even if she didn't do that it probably wouldn't be hard for people to still deduce that it belonged to Jaeyi. Thus putting the murder weapon in her hands anyway.

Wah.... so many things happen, suddenly things are picking up fast. But wah...I really can't read that Queen. I mean for one, she wanted revenge for the sake of the Song family. Yet... she also wished that Hwan was hers. Yet, considering that the Jo family had a big hand for causing the disaster in Byeokchon, why on earth she try to use the Jo to gain the throne? Cos like it or not, if the Grand prince take the throne... the Jo family gonna be the one to manipulate the throne cos unlike Hwan, Myeongan wasn't really that strong of a character and still so young. I really feel that this revenge plan not gonna get the result they want. Which is good... i guess. just hope that she don't try doing anything funny with Seungon.That said tho, Myungjin is still so adorable now that he's aware of everyone's identity. And him trying to care for Garam lol. Those two are cute together lol such a comedic pair.So now most of the hidden ppl are revealing their identities. Tho I had to wonder about that court lady at the Eastern Palace.

????Omg Hwan is so precious roflmao...even when Jaeyi outright told him that the man she loves is him, and using his own words even, he still can't even put his braincells to use wwwa Even when Taegang outright said that the only man Jaeyi had been hanging out with was HIM he still can't accept it lol. Aww he's so precious omg.... Hyungsik is so precious as well hahahhaa. I always love whenever he do his shocked pikachu looks hahhahahhaHaih.. so there was that ruling about the crown princess, huh? Wonder if there's a way to go around that. It's so sad seeing Jaeyi feel so sad that she wasn't part of the selection... and it was no fault of hers too.So, Jo Wonbo did have a hand at making the grand prince give the peach to Uihyeon... yet smh the ppl who seemed to wanna take revenge and curse the royal family accused Hwan of getting his title by murdering his older brother. How twisted was that? Also a twin! Finally we get a confirmation on that! Tho now with so many things being revealed, things will really start being so chaotic after this. ?

I had half a mind to think that the Prime Minister did in a way aware of Myungjin's interest in forensics. Also his mum always so funny hahah.I really wish somehow Hwan and Jaeyi get a happy ending after this... cos it was hard seeing them worry about each other and then thinking about the impending future where the two of them might have to part.And whoa... a twist that I didn't expect to find out so soon, or not. Cos if you saw enough Sageuk, you can always see ploys like this being used to indirectly kill the heir of the throne/someone in the palace. Bet Jo Wonbo had a hand to this for sure. But gosh, poor kid.The teaser seemed to imply that Taegang may really be connected to the Byeokcheon ppl/not to mention his strange response about why Hwan wanted to investigate the old case. But there's still that strange occorence about 'him' being at two place at once. Aaaa... always hate this trick ppl do when teasing us all the scenes of the next episode.XDAha, sure is funny seeing Ga-ram and Myungjin talk about toilets and x-ray machines lol. And for a moment I kinda felt bad for Seung-un for unknowingly getting ntr-d. Though it's not like it's anyone's fault now.But dang... to think that Sim Yeong had planned so far by giving that bracelet. That was so bad considering how Jaeyi had saved him in the past. What's really going on now?

Haha Myungjin's antics are always so amusing. I can see how much it's a tough love for the mom to have to deal with such a naughty youngest child wwww.Also it's amusing how much Hwan try to the deny the possibility that Jaeyi could've liked him as well his thought process just blocked it completely. Why did you end up falling for this idiot indeed, Jaeyi. ??? Good to see even Seung-on had noticed the oddity but guess it'll be a while still for him to find out the truth. It's still so cute seeing Hwan and Jaeyi together.Alas, no matter how much we'd hope the enemy not gonna be too smart... looked like Jaeyi gonna still be in danger not that the Minister Jo had figured out her identity. Tho now it makes me wonder about the queen. Was she secretly trying to protect Hwan? Was that court lady acting like a double agent or smth? Such confusion ?Still, was that icicle/woodpecker girl killed because she wore Jaeyi's bracelet? (So instead of golden hairpin in this story it's the bracelet? ?)

????? omg this episode is so much! I felt so bad that Taegang felt hurt for being suspected... though I kinda wished Jaeyi tried to ask him whether he had gone for some secret errand and met Myungjin. Cos that would've led them to figure out smth... even when Taegang did get a secret errand (tho he did not change into a diff outfit).And eh! The Byeokcheon kids finally came out in the open... but it makes me wonder if the barkeep and his wife were their parents (it did appear so) Also what a shame Myungjin din get to see Ga-ram in a dress ?. Kinda felt so good seeing her fight with that woodpecker girl wwww.So at least now, we know for sure what actually happen during the prayer incident. But man...for a while now i been thinking that Hwan should get hurt soon... and now we getting it lol. I shouldn't be too happy about this lol. When Jaeyi and Seung-on fell off the cliff I almost thought that maybe... finally he will find out about Jaeyi. But nah...So the king was planning Hwan's marriage (and backup plan). What are the odds that Seung-on's dad looked at Hwan's fortune and notice that by chance it was compatible with Jaeyi and use her fortune ? . Would that be so wild?And now we know Hwan-Jaeyi's love is mutual ?? I think even Seung-un would notice that. Even that I still wonder, when will Seung-on find out about Jaeyi? By the looks of the teaser it felt like Hwan will tell him soon, but with what happen in this episode... Seung-on prolly will let go of Jaeyi as his fiancee

Eeeh! Hwan's no longer depressed! It's excruciating to see him so sad... and it was brilliant that the four managed to figure out a way to get Hwan released from confinement. Gotta say I never stopped being amused about Myungjin calling himself in third person and his dad omg! Myungjin's mom is so fearsome lolI got confused about the Queen, which was prolly due to that scene when she was grinning at the thought of being the most powerful woman in Joseon but I hope somehow she could end up allying with Hwan. Since she seemed to know smth about Byeokcheon.Aaaa... all my fears. Though somehow now I have a different theory. What's the likelihood that there was someone else who have the same appearance as Taegang? Like that might have explain everything that happened so far, as in how 'Taegang' could have appeared at two places at the same time. And why the 'Taegang' Myungjin met the other day didn't recognise him. Hmm ??

Heh.... Jaeyi starting to enjoy being an eunuch lol. I suppose I can understand that Jaeyi starting to rethink about her marriage Sungwon, cos while she's gradually getting to know Sungwon in person she also growing closer to Hwan. And people say that the more you know someone the more affections grow, right. As much as Jaeyi might not have realised it, she really did start to care more about Hwan compared to Sungwon. It'll be interesting to see if near the end, Jaeyi was the one to choose who would be the one to marry her once her name is cleared.That said, i gonna assume that the writer was just trying to misled us about Taegang and in reality, the boy was just jealous that 'Sundol' was back. Cos it din make sense for the secret communication to be done when Taegang can just find out everything that happen in the East Pslace directly from the source. But who knows....Gotta say after seeing Myungjin's mum i kinda get why he's scared of his mum. I'm amazed at his dad also lol. Mum was way fiercer than the dad lol i didn't expect that XD

Omo... why so much feelings for today's episode? Just as we get to see Myungjin being silly again and Hwan being so cool... we also got to see Hwan break down trying to get the King to change his mind. Aaaa... someone need to give him a hug!To think just days before he was so cheerful, awkwardly playing around with Jaeyi.. and then you get this. Hyungsik really get to me so much, as if it wasn’t already bad seeing him cry as Sammaekjong... now we have to see him cry as Hwan. ??That aside, I almost got shivers when Ga-ram asked aloud whether or not the CP had abandon them. I thought they all already figured it out then... but then she talk about Shcolar Park and Sundol. So Jaeyi would finally recall her memories... it better not be Taegang who killed the herald ???

Heh... so it turned out that people's suspicion about Hajun being sus turned out on the point, tho to be fair the show doesn't really try too hard to hide it, given the hint at the opening. So we get a happy outcome for the kids and then we also finally get to see a hint of who Hajun really is, which might be bad... or good. Because I still feel that it's too soon to judge anything... tho I do appreciate that the show continues to let us keep guessing what the outcome of this second season would be. Because there's a chance that we may still have a third party in this game. Also, it bothered me about what'll happen to the criminals after each case once the Rainbow team dealt with them. I mean, last season there's that illegal prison... and then later after it was unravelled, Hana ended up taking over all the remaining law-related stuff. But how about now? Also, I thought they planned to try not to break the law anymore after the Baek Sungmi case. And I do have to wonder about what timeline are we in rn. Is it still before Dogi went to prison, or was it after? Since the show did step back a year.

Gosh, this episode is hilarious. And it's pretty amusing how Dogi and Goeun were so unsync with their answers. (Which made me curious about what could've happened if Dogi had roped in Hana instead--to which I could buy a reason why she can't, assuming during this time period she should still be pretty busy with Baek Sungmi retrial cases and so on)Haha omg those two uncles are mischievous at decorating the room roflmao. That said, this made me wonder if they could connect this case with one of the scenes from ep 16 of last season. Like there's that one scene of him finding a kid in a suitcase. That'll be a nice tie-in tbh
