As I suspected, this episode is totally unrelated to webtoon. But I guess it was a nice follow-up to the earlier case Ryeon was dealing before as well as explained how the girl in the prev episode manage to have a gas tank at her house to kill herself. That said, drama really gave us some good bits involving JoongRyeon. Cos as far as I recall even webtoon hadn't yet covered much about Joonggil's past as compared to Ryeon's. It makes me wonder if writer Llama had a hand in providing ideas regarding Joonggil, cos that was a pretty good explanation as to why Joonggil in webtoon always had the dark shadows under his eyes. That said, Junwoong's actions was kinda reckless tbh. I wonder if drama gonna have a scene where Junwoong's real body would receive harm should Junwoong's act recklessly in his temp body. Since drama!Junwoong seemed to forget the fact that he's still a temp worker in Jumadeung who might as well become a permanent at this rate. Drama seemed to skip the Breathe arc as well as Western Sky and jump to the Puppy episode, so I guess that meant they prolly wanted to cover Ryunggu's backstory a bit later. Guess it'll be a while for us to see the Western Sky episode.

Heh... so THAT's the reason why he chose to go to Gimsan. Pretty impressive for him to want to also save Chief Jeon, cos this same case was probably the same reason why he ended up resigning the first time. And I see he's already in contact with Hanmi... and Hee Ah too. Things a really starting to get real good, it's really looking pretty good for Heewoo... getting on the case this time with so many people at his side as compared to last time when he's been doing this all by himself. And finally we're meeting Lee Minsoo and Kyuri again after so long. Heewoo really kept getting cooler and cooler every episode www And next week Heewoo finally meeting Jo Taesub again after so long.

Ahaha...At this rate I'm really going to ship Heewoo with Hanmi now wwww. They really looked good together... and I like how Heewoo keep supporting her like the cool guy he is. And it's nice to see him help Sangman pretty early compared to the first time round and that adds up to his lists of allies. Really glad to see that we jump timeline after this, cos I was looking forward to him returning to his prosecutor job. Though to be fair, I was worried that Heewoo might cut it close by helping Sangman earlier that originally. That said, whoa! Pretty nice fight choreography with the fights at the pool table room!

Three Stars

I think of all the episodes we see so far, this one probably the least dramatic. Not saying that the theme wasn't good--issue about body image and stuff was important too--vut it felt a bit dull. So this was the Miss Korea arc... though I wonder if the episode also jad mixed in elelements from other arcs. And since drama change Junwoong's family background in drama, a few other plot details also had changed. But it's still interesting how Ryeon start to entrust Junwoong more to deal with things by himself.

Ah.... stress. Just when I thought that I wouldn't get even more frustrated with the drama. But hey on the bright side, Detective Chu was still barely alive... though looking at the teaser I didn't really have much confidence that she'll stay that way. And I'm still judging Hochul's decision of betraying our lovely hired killer but at least Mr Bae still lives. It's still annoying that the writer made things all so complicated like this just so we're literally having to struggle to watch Hochul being pingpong-ed between Kwon and Bae. And just when I thought that the mom gonna figure things out FINALLY and do a wise thing she got herself taken hostaged LIKE WHY THE HELL DON'T YOU CALL SOOAH'S PHONE INSTEAD? I swear by now I'm only barely following this drama just because we're already almost reaching the end so I might as well see the rest of this thing.

What a great Veteran episode. I only managed to just skim the original webtoon arc since the English version hadn't reached this part yet so I'm glad I at least was able to see the episode properly in drama. Drama made some changes on the scene where Mr Lee returned from war but I suppose that's a good thing. I'm not sure that I could deal with the episode if that part happened the same way as in the webtoon. Really great cider near the end. Though I can't help feeling that some of Joonggil's lines were given to Ryeon, but hey, Joonggil still had some good scenes regardless so I'm happy. I really love all the JoongRyeon scenes we're getting.

Ehe... I thought I wouldn't be able to see Ryunggu fight the Support team ever lol. And as much as we didn't get his epic booger fight, we still managed to see him fight comically with them and him picking his nose while at it. Looks like aside from the Tree arc, we're also getting some glimpse from the Windflower arc. But I guess it made sense, as to how some of the stories do seem to connect with each other. As the drama does make some changes to the original webtoon plot, I'm gonna look forward to how the latter Windflower plot gonna turn out to be like. Have to say that I really do like the changes and how the drama retells this Tree arc. The confrontation with Joonggil was also pretty cool. I'm still miffed that we didn't get Yeomra in the drama but hey, I still love that we're getting more scenes of Joonggil-Ryeon XDD

For a sec I had to wonder if Heewoo really did encounter his killer again or was it just his nightmare. Though I had to say that I got worried a bit. Since now even more it does appear that the guy was not a normal person. Come to think, the same could be said for the other ladies from before. Setting that aside, it was still pretty cool how popular Heewoo was with everyone. And it's nice to see him continue to help Kyuri and Hanmi, who may prove to be a good ally to Heewoo's cause. It's also interesting how Heewoo ended up crossing paths with Mr Woo who inevitably ended up being targeted by Cho Taesub. I still love how he managed to save Mt Woo and indirectly being able to foil the enemy's plans. Though from the way things were going, I can't help worrying about Heesoo. That said, what that Lady Grim Reaper said earlier... it all made sense now. Though one had to wonder why the lady was hanging around Cho.

Have to say that the supposed hit and run…

Have to say that the supposed hit and run accident start to really look like very suspicious. I mean, it was one thing with the first car but then just when you start to feel relief about maybe being able to safe your parents from being hit, you see this other car seem to be intent to make sure that they have to hit the parents at all cost. It was really uncanny... but I seriously thought that Heewoo wouldn't be able to change his parents' fates. It was really impressive how he manage to change a lot of other bad things that happened in the past and turn it around this time. And it was great also that his still had the MMA skills he learnt to protect himself. I like the cheeky hint alluding to the Kingsman movie, it was really amusing. And it does look like he already started to encounter a few people related to his past/futures, and how this time he start to act more cautiously. The plot really starts to thicken now... though I start to wonder there are other people aside from Heewoo who had prior knowledge of the events in the future. Like the guy who killed Heewoo last time seemed pretty suspicious now, especially since Heewoo shouldn't already started to be targeted this early.

What a great start to the drama. Kim Heewoo…

What a great start to the drama. Kim Heewoo gave off a great impression of a righteous prosecutor who also can be quite rough and reckless. And it does appear that he was in a mission to punish corrupt people in line with the vows he took when he became a prosecutor. And while at first he does seem to be a bit too ambitious and reckless to go after Cho Taesub without anticipating how great a risk that he'd take, we later find out that Heewoo had quite a tough beginning prior to becoming a prosecutor. That said, it made me curious as to who was the lady in red who was able to save Heewoo and send him back in time. Since it should be obvious that she wasn't a normal person. Besides that, it was really cute to see Heewoo went to a complete character change once he realised that he returned to a point in time when his parents were still alive. But of course after what he went through his first life, being able to resolve his guilt about not being a good son to his parents was a happy thing.

Drama really do like to overcomplicate the situation. Like I felt that the story would've easily end quick if Hochul just take a shot at Kwon, whether or not if it was a shot to kill or maim. Also, it did seem as if Seoa did sense that the guy was bad news, yet it made me wonder why didn't she try to escape from the guy mych earlier. While I can appreciate that we got a glimpse of Kwon's past as well other flashback scenes with Hochul, I really can't brain why everything had to be so overcomplicated.

So in this version of Forest of Time, the RM team end up also having to save the father as well in order to later save the son. I totally didn't expect that, and to be fair, while the original Forest of Time was already quite good I can kinda understand why drama would want to make the story a lot more dramatic. Since just having the dad being a struggling salaryman wouldn't be quite an engaging story on its own. The random chicken was so funny like of course after so many years the same chicken wouldn't taste good. it'll be very stale lol. And finally we got the Tree arc going. Since drama didn't have Boyun who end up being a catalyst to Nayoung looking for the RM team, I guess it explained the reason why we end up getting that scene where Joonggil ends up with another confrontation with Guryeon. And we got to see more of the flashback between them. Since drama changed a lot of the details on how the RM team was formed, I was wondering if it would still retain the bit about how Guryeon used to work under Joonggil in the same team. So I was glad to see the drama bring that detail back through this arc.

This Forest of Time episode went on a completely different direction compared to the original story, so I'm not sure how the story would end this time. In the original, Jaesu was mostly in a slump due to constantly failing his college entrance exams (and not on a specific one) but drama had it relate with a lot more other reasons which includes Junwoong's situation. And while the father had a big role in both versions, with the direction drama was going I have no idea what to expect from this plotline. The Forest of Time arc wasn't originally this depressing so I hope somehow the conclusion to this later would turn out fine. That said, we got to see a glimpse of the characters from the Tree episode... which is pretty neat. Then again, drama did kinda merge the Underworld arc and Fallen Flower together and wrap it up in two episodes, so I shoul've expected this. But it was still interesting that the foreshadows of Tree already started from ep 2.

Sigh... I kinda had a suspicion that Detective Chu gonna get the red flag. Kinda wished Hochul got a hold of her before she end up following the guy too close. Damn the cops are stupid too, what killer gonna try to save the victim they're trying to kill? Hope they start questioning the reason behind all those spy cams and stuff. And damn, Seoah escaped one danger to another. But I guess now we arrive to the point we started with at the first episode.

So that's the conclusion of Fallen Flower, which end up happening slightly different than in the webtoon but still retained most of the plot details. I like how drama explains the reason how the memory world started breaking apart, in which we're reminded as to why Guryeon gave her warning earlier. Initially I'm not sure how ro feel about the drama pushing the plot to having Eunbi and Hyewon meeting again as adult, but now it felt right. Because in the webtoon there was a scene that mention how the victims will continue being haunted by the trauma while the bullies forget, and I feel that drama had given more weight to that scene by having the plot be more layered than in the original. That said, it looked like the next episode will be on the Forest of Memory. And I thought it felt familiar that Junwoong's friend was also called Jaesu.
