Finally watched season 2 after a year of watching season 1. I enjoyed season 2 more than I thought I would. Honestly, I did not like season 2 at first as they changed the actress, but I warmed up to it and later changed my mind. But I loved and will still love season 1 more.
Although, they had to change the actress because of the plot, otherwise it would not make sense. After all, Naksu went into another body in the first place in the beginning of season 1 as her original body was dying and wanted to get revenge.
In season 2, Naksu's character had to change because she woke into Jin Bu Yeon's body and lost her memory. Plus, she got physically weaker because it was not the body, she trained in the first place. But she did not get weak per se, she got divine powers instead.
For the ending. In season 1, my heart broke in how it ended in a cliffhanger and in a tragedy with Naksu / Mu Deok killing Jung Uk. But the ending in season 2, the story was wrapped up and a happy ending for our main characters. The villains and the greedy ones who wanted to live forever got what they deserved as well.
For the fire bird part plot. It was interesting and was mentioned a lot throughout season 2 and I had some expectations to it, but then it ended really quickly. That was disappointing. I do not know what I expected, but maybe I wanted more action, I do not know.
Anyway, what I wanted the most was for Naksu / Cho Yeong / Mu Deok and Jung Uk to somehow live happily together and they did :D It's all thanks to Jin Bu Yeon / Jin Seol-ran stepping aside and giving the body to Naksu.
Afterall, I think the real Jin Bu Yeon died as a baby and like Master Lee, Jin Seol-ran took over the dead body to continue to protect the stone and was reborn with all her powers. So, you can say it was not her body either and she had no reason to stay and so she gave the body to Naksu.
Plus, all the couples got married as well, I'm happy for them :D
For the crown prince, now the King a year later, I wanted to see who his wife would be, but that is a curiosity I will have to keep. A happy ending to all.
A character I did not want to die and wanted her to live was Seo-i, she really deserved better.
Anyway, I'm glad I finally watched season 2 and wrapped up the story. It's actually a good story when you combine season 1 and 2 together. I would have like it shorter, as season 2 had some draggy moments. Yes, ok season 2 had 10 episodes, but it was like 15 episodes if each episode was 1 hour each. But all in all, the story was interesting and amazing, I enjoyed it ^_^
I loved it! I loved the production and the story. Also, great cast, characters, and awesome acting.
I mostly loved the messages they gave. ''Nothing will be done if nothing is done.''
The themes dealt in this movie are school bullying and violence, which is quite serious and upsetting. However, I honestly laughed a lot and enjoyed So Si Min giving Han Su Kang a taste of his own medicine. He really had no regret or remorse at all. He finally got what he deserved.
It reminds me of Gokusen and Kamen Teacher, two Japanese dramas and movies school related that I love and have the similar themes.
The story is an old-style story of the 2000's with lots of cliches, but it was nice to watch, and I ended up enjoying it. It was not perfect, had annoying moments and boring moments, but it's a high school drama after all, so it was not bad. Plus, it's a fast watch, so it was ok.
What I do not agree with is the ending. I thought Aiko would finally come clean and say that she was acting as Mai, but Reo stopped her, and they left it as a secret. I do not like that. It's complicated and messy. So what if others do not see them as compatible together? It's none of their business. Anyway, if they are happy to leave things as they are, it's up to them.
It's not for everyone, so it's up to you whether to watch it or not :)
Honestly, I really enjoyed this drama, as I expected it to be a disaster with some of the comments and reviews, I briefly read.
I think this drama depends on how you look at it to like it. If you came only for the romance BL part, I agree. It was frustrating with lots of misunderstandings between Mahiro and Sota. They could not communicate at all. Plus, with lots of third parties involved and obstacles getting in the way of their relationship. And if you wanted some steamy kiss scenes or awesome chemistry, forget it. I just found them cute together, they finally got together and the end.
However, if you look at it from another aspect, I really liked the story. I mostly loved the Grandma plot. She sent her grandson a time capsule letter and it was like she knew Sota would be struggling with his work and would forget to take a break. So, she used his stuff as an excuse, to let him take a break now and then. Plus, to get him to meet Mahiro of course. I think she was the cupid actually :)
I also really loved the cooking parts with different dishes and cuisines of some countries around the world. I loved how this drama integrated the foreigners living in Japan. I see it as a message and telling us that since the world is now connected and people can go live in any country, we should embrace different people, different cultures and be more open minded. This is not in Japan only but everywhere in the world.
For the comedy part, it was hilarious how Sota de-stressed from work by eating nude. I liked that. Honestly, it's better than showing us a character going to a bar, going to a club, or going whatever and drinking your stress away. It was refreshing to see something different :D
This drama was not the best and had questionable moments, but I liked and enjoyed it :)
The story was not bad, I quite liked it. But it could have been better, I can't pinpoint it but there was something lacking. The couple were cute together :3 I liked the cast, characters, costumes, and background. I liked it overall :)
I like Na In Woo as an actor and his acting is great, but I can't imagine him playing as the character of Yoo Ji Hyuk. He gives a different vibe of the character from the webtoon. But I really love the webtoon, and want the drama to work and do well, so I'll what and see.
Loved it! The story was interesting, one thing followed another and had great plot twists. I did guess some things, but most of them, I really did not guess at all. Then, bam they gave us huge plot twists that blow your mind.
The story was serious. It really got me mad and riled up about how the villains experimented on children and it was like they experimented on vegetables. For them, the children were test subjects and not human at all. Plus, they justified their actions and said it's for the sake of humanity. I'm like OMG slap some sense to these monsters, as they as the monsters. At the end, they got what they deserved.
Also, I'm glad that there were some comic relief moments in the drama, as it lessened the tension I felt in these moments. The chief and the other special team members were hilarious :D
Moreover, I loved the cast, characters, acting, production, music, the team, and family feel in the drama. It was great, I'm glad I finally watched this drama after being on my PTW list for 3 years. I can't believe it took this long.
Lately and for some time now, I was in a drama slump, and nothing seemed interesting to me. Ok, I enjoyed the dramas I recently watched, but they were nothing intriguing or special, but the same boring stories that we all know. Ok, I do like them, but they do not get me excited or into a drama. Or does not stimulate my mind. However, this drama got me intrigued and ''awakened'' my mind :P
Definitely worth checking this drama out! It should be promoted more!
Overall, this drama was not bad, I enjoyed it. I really did not have any expectations at all. It was interesting that one can jump into a game and be a script traveler, so it was different from the usual dramas like this.
The rest of the story was the usual and the plot twists were obvious, you could guess what would happen next. But, since it was short and fast paced, I enjoyed it.
Also, the acting was good, and I liked the cast, characters, background, and costumes. However, the makeup really annoyed me. It was too much, especially for the emperor, the male lead. However, I liked the mask on him, I don't know why, but it made him sexy lol ;D
For the ending, it was disappointing. The leads did not end up together. I thought that she would go back to him since he's a character, but they ended up in separate worlds and that's it, the story ended there.
I enjoyed this drama! It was so cute, adorable, nice, positive and light <3
The story was not perfect or original, but it was good, and one thing followed another. Plus, despite being a short drama, they covered many work aspects, and it was interesting that it was about perfume.
Also, I loved the chemistry and kiss scenes of Jun squared couple <3 I totally did not have high expectations, so I was surprised. Also, the acting was quite good, even though there were some questionable moments.
However, overall, I enjoyed this drama. I recommend it! :D
I really enjoyed this movie! <3 It was a fun adaption I did not know I needed :D
Yes, the story was not perfect, weird, and absurd at times, but it was interesting and enjoyable. It had hilarious moments too.
Plus, I totally did not guess that Cinderella was the killer, and she would have gotten away with it if not for Red Riding Hood solving the case.
Although Hans did deserve it. He was weird and a creep. He forced women to cut their hair when they did not want to and coaxed some of them to do it. Then, he forced the ones who realised what he was up to. So, you can say that Cinderella killed him for defending herself. But then Cinderella went to the wrong path when she tried to frame one of her stepsisters for the murder.
Moreover, this movie does give good messages. Like physical beauty is not everything, it's the inside that counts. Also, love is not at first sight. It needs to be nurtured by time and let people get to know each other first. At least that were the messages I got.
I would like to have a sequel where Red Riding Hood stumbles on another story with another case to solve ^_^ Definitely check this movie out :D
Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, but I liked and enjoyed it :D The story was not the most original or special, but it made sense and one thing led to another.
For the bullying parts, I feel like it was taken too lightly and put aside, but since this drama was considered light, they left it at that. The debt and gangster parts were the highlight of this normal drama, as if we only saw studying and sports, I would have felt bored. Sorry, but I do not like school dramas as much as I did in the past.
For Sailom and Kang. They were cute together, I liked them, and I loved that they solved their misunderstandings and issues quite quickly ^_^ For their acting, it was quite good. But their chemistry together, I feel like it was more of a brotherhood than lovers. They were good, do not get me wrong and I did like them together. They made me smile and feel good. But there was something missing, I can't quite put my finger on it. It's like they held back, even their kisses felt like they held back. I don't know, it's my opinion.
Also, I did like the rest of the cast, characters, other couples, and other potential couples and ships I made.
One thing I can't understand is the title. Is it because of their social class difference? Or because of the debt? I don't know, it did not make sense to me. It would have been better if it was called 'My Windmill' or something wind related, etc as they referenced the main couples' names multiple times.
Anyway, overall, I enjoyed this drama. I do recommend it :)
I really enjoyed this one ^_^ I loved the chemistry and the kiss scenes of the leads. They were so cute and adorable together <3 They made me squeal with delight <3
For the story, it's just a typical office romance and you must take it lightly and that everything ends up well. Plus, the leads already liked each other so that is ok.
However, if we take it more seriously and one of the characters wasn't willing, it's more about sexual harassment and power abuse at the workplace. I'm seeing a comment that 'WonderWisdom' wrote. I 100% agree with the comment.
For the forging of the contract, that was a low blow. I'm glad that they discussed it in the drama, that is not ok to do that. Plus, I loved that the vice president confronted Xia Shang Zhou and told him not to do that and he immediately told Yao Shun Yu. Thanks to that, our leads finally admitted their feelings to each other, so a happy ending to both.
Also, saying a statement of 'I've never been in love, so I don't know what to do or act' is not an excuse to go full on a person you haven't at least confessed to. Even if you have confessed, it still doesn't give you the right to kiss someone, etc without the permission or full agreement of the other person.
At the end, it is just a drama for BL fans like me. I can't say that I did not like these scenes, I 100% did like them :D But, I'm hoping nobody does these things in real life without the permission of the other person. At the end, this drama is fiction, and you can't copy that.
On a positive note, because I went all dark lol. I really enjoyed this drama and recommend this one ^_^
It wasn't the best, but it wasn't that bad, especially since some things were left unexplained. Like the transmigration was confusing. Like did Zhang Chu Xi, the female lead go into a male body? Or did she enter a female body acting as a male? I did not get it if it was explained.
The ending was confusing as well. Like ok, the couple met again in the modern times and happy ending for them. But what exactly happened? Reincarnation? He came back with her in the modern time, and he took another body?
Anyway, since it's a short drama, I will not dwell on it and take it as it is.
I love it a lot too but what really bugged me was when the FL got stabbed by her sister and they kinda just forgive…
Thank you for reading my comment and for your reply. But I recommend marking your comment as a spoiler as in my opinion, there are lots of spoilers listed.
Anyway, I do agree with you. It really bugged me as well when Bai Feng Xi got stabbed by her sister. I'm like, she knew her mostly all her life and she did not know how Bai Feng Xi is like, how could she? But then again, her sister mostly gets manipulated quite easily and hate does make you do unforgivable things.
Also, I did think of the flower. Maybe, it could not be used a second time on the same person? I don't know, as if I remember correctly, it was not mentioned again.
Yes, for the last fight scene, it was rushed, and it looked and felt like they wanted to conclude the drama.
There were some plot holes, and they did rush it in the end, but I did like it overall. Also, I agree with you that Lu Si was great. She's one of my favourite Chinese actresses ^_^

That's true, especially since the Master, aka her father relied more on Bai Feng Xi than on her.
Yes true, it was crazy, like she did not even try to stab her somewhere else, but in Bai Feng Xi's heart or close to it.
I did not read the novel, so I do not know what was changed in the ending. I can't comment on that, sorry.
I'm glad you did so, thank you ^_^ I love discussing dramas too. Most of the times, I'm discussing to myself lol.
Anyway, I do agree with you. It really bugged me as well when Bai Feng Xi got stabbed by her sister.
