Which drama is the actor from your profile picture is from? He is the same guy who acted in Vincenzo, Modern Farmer, and Big Mouth right? I assume it's historical due to the hairstyle/outfit and it makes me excited. Is it watch worthy by the way?

Actually the few episodes is perfect cause there will be no endless drama and draggy crap. One of the reasons I almost end up dropping most romance focused dramas, is due to the plot getting draggy as hell with endless pointless misunderstandings, drama, stupid love triangles, and angst.

100 episodes?! Only dramas I watched that got that amount or more than 100 episodes were Chinese historical dramas lmao do Korean dramas actually got such amount of episodes?

It's a Korean drama so of course they are gonna shove some pointless romance down our throat even though the plot clearly doesn't need it in first place. Instead of focusing on the prince and his struggle to become the crown prince, they decide to ruin all his scenes with this childish cringe crap, and with a girl with unbearable personality, who doesn't even behave like a noble girl would in that era as well. Like if they end up together and he become crown prince, will this dumb brat become the future queen?!

Not yet, but if they decide to make the romance between them official then she is gonna become even more annoying...seriously these dramas and their obsession with including forced romance in everything even thriller and horror genres...as if life can't exist without romance in it.

They could at least make her personality fitting with the historical concept, and make her elegant and classy. I would be able to tolerate it a bit in that case. She is clearly born in a decent family so how come they made her like that?! If it's a non historical drama then sure, I will still dislike her, but it would make more sense, but a noble woman of such era behaving like that...really? Lmao

It kinda reminds me of tsundere toxic trope when one of the leads is a total jerk to the other, yet they always end up together due to the other magically being able to handle the tsundere's bullshit. To me respect is more important than anything in any relationship, so if someone treats me awfully when we first meet, plays hard to get, or get frustrated and moody whenever we interact, then that's the end, I wouldn't be willing to tolerate them anymore nor put effort to understand them...etc life is too short to waste it on someone who will make me pissed off almost all the time. If they have emotional issues, then they should go solve it before bothering to be in a relationship.

Watched 2 episodes so far, but seriously how long will the FL keep yelling and lashing out her anger and disappointment over her depressing life on the ML? I get her life is indeed hard and I understand and relate (To being poor, lacking a parent, and struggling, not the ghosts crap obviously lol), but I don't think it gives her the right to get her anger out on the wrong person.

She is mad about her boyfriend? Then she should go kick and yell at him not the person hired by him. She is upset over that man's son part, she should make sure he ML is the son before rushing to judge him, like what the hell?! Why is it lately FL characters in Kdramas are always like this, just filled with anger issue, violence, and rude behavior?! Yet the ML is to blame and has to apologize even though she is literally making his life harder than it already is.

I can't handle the type of relationship when one of the leads, be it male or female is a total jerk to the other at beginning, then they somehow end up together. Though I will still give the drama a chance in hope FL personality gets much better, besides ML is cute, his uncle is funny, and the FL father is sweet so...also the FL handles the ghosts wishes part nicely in a way (Loved what she did in first episode with the cheaters cause they highly deserved it to be fair).

Glad to know that, at first episode it seemed like she was gonna be the annoying Karen type that love to complain and yell about everything while making sure everyone stay miserable lol

I only watched two episodes of that drama, but so far I don't really like her, I don't dislike her but don't find her that appealing, but I guess she will get better in future episodes?

Also agree, acting like a gangster isn't what make someone badass, but not allowing others to humiliate and disrespect you, while still being logical and fair is what makes someone badass.

There is also the odd obsession of acting like sluts, or hating on super feminine women. I mean I'm not conservative at all nor religious. I'm cool with mature themes, nudity, and whatever, and I'm more of a tomboy myself, but I don't get what's the hate on girly girls, and why some people like Cardi B for example make it seem like true feminism is walking around naked, talking about vaginas, and behaving like whores, then get mad when guys talk about women asses and bodies saying it's objectifying, when said women themselves objectify their own bodies lmao

No hate to people who love that type of thing at all, sex and mature content are great and all like I said before, but it's not the definition of feminism, same with male celebrities who make very vulgar stuff and call it deep art.

It reminds when some photographer created an art gallery that only includes pictures of naked women and started boasting about how artistic it is when it just looked like a collection of porn pictures. I love art, and being creative, but that is just stupid, what's artistic about humans naked bodies? It's just naked bodies, nothing that surprising nor deep! Also there s no effort on taking pictures of people private areas to make it worthy of being called art.

It also seems like some sort of odd fetish in Asian dramas that they keep creating spoiled, bratty, self-centered, and irritating girl characters (Especially teen ones, they are always a vein. I almost dropped tons of high school dramas due to how annoying those brats were) and expect us to find them cute and funny whenever they be that annoying and force the ML to handle their nonsense and fall for them, but only thing going for them is their beauty which makes watchers simp for them, even though their personalities are garbage.

Same goes for jerk ML characters who act overly possessive and rude to FL and yet cause they are hot the watchers are fine with it and find it romantic...(Great example is Nevertheless drama, an awfully toxic ML and yet many actually liked the drama and praised him even though he is a creepy, cheating, pervert who treat women like playthings. I was literally raging when I watched it).

Exactly! Both FL in these dramas you mentioned were annoying as hell. At least the first one was supposed to have a good amount of mental issues and she indeed needed some serious therapy to fix her behavior. I hated how they used the "Love fixes everything" logic in that drama when actually it should be therapy first then dating or whatever afterwards, especially since ML himself had issues as well. They had nice chemistry which what kept me watching along with FL gorgeous outfits, but the relationship overall was toxic.

Also the FL of Cafe Minamdang...what is her excuse?! She was annoying and even creepy due to her whole crushing on ML back when she was a minor and he was an adult then she just stalk and chases him around treating him like trash, then they fall in love...really?! I couldn't watch more than 3 episodes of it due to her getting on my nerves greatly.

Reminds me of many of recent anime rom coms where the FL characters are always abusive as heck, sometimes they even sexually assault the ML and ML is a literal pathetic, masochistic, loser who does nothing but accept it, and then they call that love and good humor.

Back in 2000s and 2010s it was the ML being abusive, bully, asshole who treat FL like a toy, and doormat FL handling all his crap silently while blushing all the time, now they went 180 degree and switched the roles as if that the perfect solution.

Her son is one hell of a bright and proper man, how did he end up like that when she is his mother?! It's a literal miracle he became that impressive lmao he is among my favorite characters actually.

That what makes her amazing, the fact that she doesn't just sit and cry, she thinks and acts, doesn't play the damsel in distress role, she is the one who saves the day. She can be very cunning and strict, yet is still very kind and caring when needed. She also knows how to treat her husband, and he respect and trust her, I like their relationship actually. She is a great queen, mother, and wife, and the actress was born to play this role.

She is the perfect strong/badass female character material. I live for characters like her lol and I hope they will make FL characters in future dramas more like this, and drop the toxic, annoying, and overused tropes.

I got sick of the supposedly strong female characters that do nothing but beat up men left and right even if they do nothing wrong (I'm all for feminism and women teaching shitty men a lesson, but I hate it when they make women very violent and rude to men who literally did nothing to deserve it, all for humor sake), yell all the time, act controlling, vulgar, bossy, and self centered.

Then say that's how feminism and women are expected to be, making all women seem like monsters.

Yeah, they overly rushed the ending, not showing us everything in details. That part was awfully disturbing and they just brushed it off, just like Juntee's death. I hated that dude, but they rushed his death as well.
