When it comes to historical dramas in specific, you should never judge from the first episode at all cause they tend to have many/long episodes (Some Chinese ones can have up to 90 or more than 100 episdoes even), and the plot can be very complicated and long so obviously nothing interesting will happen in first episodes, they won't drop the bombs from the start.

They only lightly introduce the characters and that's it, and indeed it can be very boring at first. You will end up dropping 99% of historical dramas be it Korean, Japanese, or Chinese instantly of you only rely on one episode, so please give them more chances cause many of them are masterpieces, but you only realize it later.

It's better to watch 5 or 8-10 episodes (10 in case the drama has 20+ episodes, 5-8 of it has 16 or less episodes overall) then decide afterwards if they are worth it or not.

Which is one hell of a stupid reason honestly. That hag has zero sympathy for her grandsons even, like she is already the queen dowager living in wealth and luxury for the rest of her filthy life, what does she need more than that to be always plotting and messing around with the palace matters?! She should just retire and mind her own business, while enjoying the company of her cute grandsons instead of making them all miserable like this.

About the queen she is always harassed and bullied by the queen dowager, and the concubines are like hyenas around her wanting to take her spot so bad, and her spot is always threatened easily. Lets not forget how she is supposed to see her king sleeping and getting married with tons of other women and not be able to say a word.

My exact thought, and they had to make her very annoying and according to their standards back then slutty and desperate even, like every time she appears I get pissed off, nothing about her personality is worthy of her becoming the wife of a prince at all.

She acts in a very vulgar and retarded way, meanwhile he is serious and decent overall. It might be for comedy purpose, but her character doesn't fit with the plot nor the historical theme, and this plot doesn't need any stupid romance in it to begin with.

I also can't stand prince Park Bo Gum's mother, her voice and the way she open her mouth overly wide whenever she talks or smiles irritates me to death lmao I get she was a maid, but all the maids in the palace speak and act very proper and elegant even in times, so I don't get why she acts as if she was working as a servant in a poor old village, or prostitution house not the palace. Even if she was born by a non noble family, they still get trained well before working for royals.

Yeah, why the hell did she bring her abusive, shitty ass father back to her life and let him hang around her baby, then her father gave this random ass stranger dude a freaking baby?! Instead of s babysitter/house-maid, someone a bit more trustworthy! He just gave her to someone who was jailed, a literal criminal! Like who in their right mind would do such a thing?!

Well according to what I read from webtoon readers, Yeojin should actually be the female lead. Also even if Juhee is the female lead, that doesn't make her less boring and bland, which shouldn't be the description of a FL character to begin with. Especially if the ML is a very well written and complex character.

And yes Yeojin isn't a saint figure (Literal Mary Sue at this point) like Juhee, but at least her character has way more depth and isn't extremely one dimensional.

In my country if you do such a surgery you won't have to worry about getting paralyzed at all since you would die for sure (Third world country) lmao

I love the silver color, but the hairstyle itself feels a bit messy, and the bully's hair is more of an enough reason to get him beaten up lmao they did it in purpose to make the watchers hate his guts as soon as they see him it seems.

Only finished two episodes so far, but I'm already in love with the FL character. That's how strong female characters should be, she has a strong personality, brave, smart, determined, bold, and hard working. Yet all that doesn't stop her from being caring, loving, emotional, and supportive to the people she care for. She isn't just a cruel bitch, nor a naïve overly gentle person.
She knows how to deal with everything going on around her. I also like her lady in waiting/head servant? (Are they called that?) she is very loyal and humorous in a way.

The sons are cute, and all are likeable. Now this seems like a drama I might actually give an at least 9/10 rating by the end of it, if plot doesn't go south somehow. I love the comedy overall as well.

But then if you end up getting paralyzed, you will spend the rest of your life relying on strangers to take care of you while you just lay on bed in some hospital or whatever forever till you die. I would rather be able to walk on my own feet and move freely for 6 months then die than stay tied to a bed or a wheelchair forever.
Even if you have a family member to take care of you, it's still not fair for you to force them to spend their life caring for you as if you're an infant. People could go crazy from taking care of a child for few years, let a lone a grown up for decades.

Nowadays I do the same thing, I always confirm the ages before enjoying any fan service, being an adult is hard lmao

I like everything about this drama so far, the FL is very likeable and realistic, everyone are good looking, the cast are pretty good overall at acting, and plot is interesting. Only thing that bothers me is some of the actors hairstyles, like the girl with white hair and the bully dude who did that to that short haired girl in photography club. Did they cut their hair themselves or something? Their hair look hideous lmao

And she has like 30% of screen time among all characters...while Oh Yeojin has like 10% they always give the attention to the annoying and bland female characters and ignore the more interesting ones.
