Yeah, they made her utterly pathetic when she was actually cool and smart at first. They still give Juhee the blank ass, saint wannabe all screen time and love. At this point just seeing Juhee on screen makes me angry, and I don't like Yeo Jin anymore after they ruined her.

Ikr! That Juhee is the most boring and bland character in the whole show, and they gave her all the damn screen time...

In source material Yeojin ends up with Seungcheon? That is much much better than this annoying Juhee.

Same, honestly same...I thought I was gonna give this drama a 10/10 or at least 9/10, but he way they are heading towards in these last episodes, will end up making me totally hate the drama.

They keep doing the same things with almost all K-dramas lately, they start super strong and get you hooked then end up in one hell of an insulting, illogical, and rushed way.
Great examples are Blind and Big Mouth. Very interesting first episodes, plots, and characters, but everything goes downhill from the middle and it all crashes down like a burning plane in the end, leaving you with a very bitter mood.

Yeah, that ruined the plot so far for me honestly. They must make the plot so overly dramatic relying on idealism and romance, making everyone miserable till they die, instead of logical. I can already tell how the drama will end and I know I wouldn't be able to give it a great rating thanks to it.

If he really switch back I will be massively pissed off, it's not like switching back will bring his father back to life or anything, so why go back to being poor, struggling, and miserable?! He did all that to escape that fate, so why go back to it, while Taeyong goes back to his creepy abusive father, and loses the family he was willing to be poor for?!

I also don't want them to switch back honestly. I want Yohan/fake Taeyong's father to go to hell, and every other shit person like Juntee, but Seungcheon deserves to be happy and get what he needed AKA wealth, Taeyong also can enjoy the family life forever. I totally hate the father's death bullshit still.

Well to be fair, he did it out of his pride and not wanting to rely on his real rich father after switching, nor show Seungcheon that he picked money like him. That's why after all these years, he is still nothing and Seungcheon kept advancing in business. Taeyong is so obsessed with his pride and morals, he is willing to stay poor for eternity for it and doesn't want to go back to being rich lmao

Yeah and so? Taeyong lacked family that's why he chose them, if he was the one lacking money, or his actual parents were decent he wouldn't choose them. Each one just picked the better choice for themselves and what they desired.

It doesn't make Taeyong a saint at all. After all he also abandoned his "father and family" to get what he wanted, and Taeyong was more of an asshole at the start. He knew Seungchoen was suffering and had nothing yet still treated him like shit, took advantage of him, almost made him get kicked out of school, and even when Juhee chose him over Taeyong, Taeyong got all pissed off and tried to take her away from him before they switched.

He might try to act like a justice hero or whatever, but it doesn't erase all trash things he done in his life. He laready knew how it's like to be rich and lived the wealthy life, so he decided to go for the new thing, he didn't really get nor enjoy which is family.

Seungcheon picked the wealthy life he wanted to taste so bad, and still tried to help his family after being wealthy.

Everyone pick what they need and lack the most. When you're starving or suffering, you can't expect everyone to be all about morals and idealism, and you only know how it feels when you live it yourself.

Most people who like to obsess over ideals and preach all day long (About this certain topic) are ones that never knew how it feels like to almost die from hunger, watch their loved ones die from sickness all cause they can't afford medicine or surgeries, or not get proper education and jobs chances no matter how talented or hard working they are cause there will always be a less worthy scumbag with connections and money stealing all these chances easily...etc

For example if you see that your kid or anyone you care about is on their death bed and in dire need for an expensive medicine and only way to get it is by stealing it, or stealing someone's money to get it, would you just sit there and be like "I can't steal, I should live honorably, and honestly, and just watch them die slowly and painfully" ? Or if you see yourself slowly dying from shit conditions you were forced to live in and didn't choose, thanks to having lacking parents would you just accept it that easily and suffer for eternity ignoring any chance you can get to have a better life?

The world isn't that pure and happy go lucky at all. Seungcheon parents might be nice treatment-wise, but they are still shit parents cause they can't let their kids live properly and get all basic things they truly need. Being a parent isn't just about being nice and kind, it's also about being responsible and not making your kids struggle, especially while they are still very young to go through all that. It's not the kids responsibility to bear with it and suffer with you cause the parent can't make sane decisions, nor have real jobs.

Seungcheon's father was so unreliable and useless, it took him freaking years to realize his obsession of comics was bullshit and decide to work a bit more seriously. He was so obsessed with his dream, he completely ignored the fact that he had responsibilities and kids relying on him all to spend his time drawing crap that won't bring them food on the table. If he loved his dream so bad then why he got married and got kids? He should just struggle in his own till he become famous and financially able then get married...etc

(Not hating on/attacking you here, I know you were just explaining the father's dumb thought process, but I also wanted to explain to you why I don't give two fucks about his thought process and why it's so illogical lmao).

Yeah and in the end Yoon Jae highly admired and trusted Sung Hoon only to end up dying like that, all alone, and no one gave a fuck about him.

About Sung Joon, even after he saw the scars all over his brother's body and he still says shit. These scars and him wanting to kill himself are a great evidence of the emotional trauma and misery he went through, yet he still gets viewed as a monster. He lived for about 30 years all hating himself, feeling betrayed, and scared, had to live in the house of some of the people who made him, and other orphans suffer and call them his parents. Like all that and no one cares!

Everyone just stood in line to lecture Sung Hoon, and make him feel that he truly doesn't deserve to be living and doesn't has the right to be that angry and hurt, and we should applaud this message and ending?! They literally just showed that the law is useless and it won't give any true and proper justice at all, if the law is useless then why talk shit about people who get justice with their own hands?! That's a really odd logic.
Sung Hoon actually tried to rely on the law and told the authorities, but they ignored him then in the end they judge him.

My father actually was good at studying and could have a great future if he wasn't a womanizer piece of shit who ignored all the chances that could make him rich and well educated for the sake of pretending to be cool in front of whores. He became a con man, ignored his family, kids, and wives (The bastard got married three times, has 6 kids from all three women and all of us are miserable, then decided to get divorced with every woman ,then run away forever. His last wife was younger than my older brother, and he didn't hesitate to try and lay his hands on my classmates relatives even which lead to a very ugly humiliation for me in school, and forced each wife to take care of herself and kids in the end after he escapes...).

My mother on other hand was actually born in a very rich family and had the ability to be anything she wanted, guess what, she decided to be the school bully, couldn't even get a high school degree due to her failing most of her subject cause she was that irresponsible while all my uncles and aunts became architects, business men, doctors, and live overseas...etc

She got married to my father while she was still very young, without her parents agreement and due to it all her family members cut ties with her till this day, and so she became dirt poor then gave birth to me and my older brother and decided to lash out all her anger on us with both verbal abuse and physical abuse...blaming all her shit decisions in life and failure on us lmao she was so useless she almost killed both of us due to her not knowing how to properly take care of children, and till this day considers herself the only victim and insults us both to death.

I despise her more than my father cause she was the one who chose him over her family, knew he was poor, and ignored her parents worries, insulted them, then humiliated them. He made her starve and she still dared to give birth to two kids then proudly admitted she did it to have two slaves to take care of her when she get old, me to do all chores...etc and my brother to pay her money. She said that literally. Till this day I still live in poverty and struggle to do the basic things, and even struggle to find decent jobs and can't upgrade my college degree nor live a decent life all cause I don't have money nor connections like others, and all our relatives refuse to help us thanks to her being a useless, dumb, shallow ass, and rude bitch.

I ended up seeing my classmates and other kids study in very great and advanced schools, have at least 4 or 5 tutors every year, study college in foreign countries, live the rich, wealthy lives, have very caring parents who fully spoil and support them, basically gifting them with eternal easy live and their career path is already laid for them, not having to worry about becoming homeless, wearing the same rags for years, nor dying from hunger...etc while I suffered, got bullied, and treated like a dog, then my mother says I deserve it and I should be miserable forever like her, and she loves making fun of my looks, and everything else she could judge that I can't do anything about, nor control.

You don't owe your parents anything, and as soon as you can get free of them do it, and never look behind. These monsters aren't worth anything.

Exactly! What irks me is how authors are trying so hard to mess the plot to make it overly emotional and whatever, instead of actually logical and it ends up sending very wrong and disturbing messages.

6/10 I was already slowly getting pissed off by how the plot was heading to in the last 4 episodes, but the ending was the final stab to my brain. Like this drama was inspired by an extremely disturbing and horrifying real events/case, but instead of making the watchers know about it, see the whole thing from the poor victims' point of view and since in the real case the bastards who tortured the people didn't get punished properly, I hoped the drama will punish the villains properly at least, but nope!

The actual victims got treated like monsters unworthy of sympathy and understanding, they all ended up either dying miserably by suicide, getting killed by said villains, or spending the rest of their already depressing lives in prison to rot there for eternity, and what happened to the actual villains?? Who knows! Maybe got locked for like 2 or 3 years then got out?

Instead of making the last episode focus on the villains getting their asses burned alive over what they done to the kids, they instead judged and criticized the victims, the MC included...even after all what he learned, he still glares at and say shit to the victims.

Now I wanna ask, about everyone who lectured the victims in this drama, if they themselves were in the victims shoes, going through that hell for years, and even after managing to talk to a well known judge in hope to get justice served, they got abandoned and betrayed, how will they react in said situation??? Will they still follow their first logic that revenge is pointless and useless then let the pricks who tortured them live happily ever after?

This ending was a massive insult to the watchers and the victims of the real life case in my opinion, and it didn't really deliver a realistic and proper message. Just tried to be as ideal (Murder is bad, revenge is bad, no matter how awfully someone hurts you and abandon you when you need it the most, you should just suck it up and move on) as possible neglecting all mental and moral factors that are the most important.

I do feel bad for the innocent people who died like the kids of the villains who didn't know a shit about their parents wrong doings and ended up getting tangled in the chaos, and I do think it would make more sense to torture the actual villains since they clearly care more about their own lives and reputations than anything else including their kids, and it shows from how they insisted to hide everything and get angry after their kids paying the price.

But seriously this ending make me furious to death!!! Also about the MC I ended up hating him the most among the main cast, he was just a brainless, violent, moron who doesn't even know how to react right to what's happening around him, nor how to use his mouth. Yes, he was also a victim in a way when he got brainwashed, but still he was a shit person as well. Also why is that shaman hag not getting any smacking as if she had nothing to do at all with the whole thing?! She is just sitting normally among the audience in the court...and why did crazy dog die so easily?! That dude with the foot issue forgot his name who was hanged to death, died in such a terrifying, painful, and slow way, yet the crazy dog died instantly after taking the live of another victim...and they made number 11 seem like a pure psychopath even after showing what happened to his sister and him.

Eun Ki's mother is also both a victim and a villain since she still stayed silent, so I couldn't sympathy with her at the end.

At this point I despise the authors honestly, and if it wasn't for the actors and them doing a really good job, along with that dope ass, creepy sounding OST (Please tell me it's name I'm dying to download it!), I would give and even lower rating honestly.

I get what you mean, I would actually be hella uncomfortable if they tried to add a romance side plot in such a grim story, and I hate how much some fans can be. Even to this day you will find weirdos who take everything too seriously and make their idols/favorite celebrities miserable.

And there isn't even actual romance between her and MC which could lead to his fans hating on her due to their jealousy or whatever crap some obsessed fans like to do. I can't see any decent logic behind hating her.
