Same, honestly same...I thought I was gonna give this drama a 10/10 or at least 9/10, but he way they are heading…
Yeah, just like filler episodes in anime, they make me almost hate the anime as a whole lol
I was considering to watch Love in Contract, but now I might pass, I'm very impatient so I doubt I could handle more disappointments and time waste lmao
I mean lately they mostly be coming with very nice concepts like this drama, Blind, Big Mouth, Tomorrow, The Uncanny Counter, Mr. Queen, True Beauty, Alchemy of Souls...etc yet they ruin most of them in the end (The Uncanny Counter, Mr. Queen, True Beauty, and Alchemy of Souls were great till the end for me though, so they are a pleasant exception).
Of course there are also pure trash shows from the start that were made in latest 2-3 years like Forecasting Love and Weather, Nevertheless, and Sh**ting Stars...etc
I agree with your overall messsage but also disagree a bit with it. I understand Seungchan's father. Yes, he called…
Ikr! I also highly liked the drama at first, but I'm awfully disappointed now. It's like the two writers aren't working together and work as rivals/enemies instead of a team lmao
Same, honestly same...I thought I was gonna give this drama a 10/10 or at least 9/10, but he way they are heading…
Ikr! Like I literally force myself to watch the last episodes. When I watched last 4 episodes of blind I was almost half sleep during them and had to do something else while watching to keep myself from actually passing out lmao
About Golden Spoon, if they do the type of ending I can't stand then I will not give it more than 7 or 7.5 if I'm that generous too.
Big Mouth was literally flawlessly written till like episode 8, I was so hyped while watching it, and thought it would be a solid 10/10. Everything that happened after the MC got out of prison was stupid as heck!
I think to fix this big issue, they should reduce the amount of episodes honestly. Like every drama doesn't need more than 8-12 episodes max to avoid it being draggy and the plot messing up greatly.
Yeah, and to be fair, she is the biggest victim since Seungcheon had nice parents even though they are poor, Taeyong had abusive father but also wealth, she had both poor and abusive father.
He called him ungrateful not because he abandoned them for a better life but because he's comparing him to TY…
Yeah that's why I said it took him years to realize he was unreliable before he finally started moving his ass. Also in original comment I said that him being a good parent is the least he could do and it his duty, so nowadays people get treated like heroes for being a decent parent which should be the norm, instead of being abusive?! Then shouldn't we all get treated like heroes for taking a bath and brushing our teeth everyday?
Also just being nice isn't gonna make people stay alive and pay their bills. He wasn't gonna go sell his kindness to pay for his kids school fees, or buy them food with it. I'm not saying he is a villain, just that he was irresponsible as hell for years. He spent years wasting them on his dream even though it clearly was useless and pointless, and didn't land him any money, hence is why they had tons of debts and his kids had to witness the debtors harassing their parents in front of their eyes daily. If you're not ready financially to take care of a kid and have family, don't do it! Love only isn't gonna heal injures, cure the sick, feed people, nor give someone wings.
Also yeah in the end of ep 14 he actually decided to do the sane and proper choice, but I was talking about before that. Just cause someone did one thing right in the end, it doesn't entirely erase all the wrong and stupid things they did before which lead to the chaos happening in first place.
He could do much better if he woke up faster and started actually working hard before years, before his son had to endure all this misery. It felt more like the mother was the one bearing up the burden the most, till her husband finally decided to look for real jobs.
Do you think if his parents were both decent treatment-wise and, able financially (Even if not literally rich) and responsible, Seungcheon would do the switching thing? And if Taeyong's father wasn't a creepy asshole, Taeyong would pick to stay away from him to the point of becoming poor for it? It's the parents decisions, actions, and flaws that made their kids turned that way. Same with Nara, if her father wasn't an abusive, irresponsible prick would she switch? The world isn't that romantic at all like they show in dramas, am being realistic here. Poverty could even easily kill romance and love overall, if it get that bad.
You're also in a way having a bias here by defending him so bad by the way, just like I have a bias by attacking him according to your logic...I share my opinion and you share yours, it's a 50/50 deal.
Messy drama ,, or it became messy ,,it wasn't at the beginning but i want to finish it and be done with this mess
This always happens with K-dramas, great start till they reach the middle (Ep 8-11) then the plot burns down, and you feel like you completely wasted your time...
Biggest annoyance for me is how they took Oh Yu Jin from bad bitch to lovesick puppy. Oh Yu Jin always did what…
Yeah, they made her utterly pathetic when she was actually cool and smart at first. They still give Juhee the blank ass, saint wannabe all screen time and love. At this point just seeing Juhee on screen makes me angry, and I don't like Yeo Jin anymore after they ruined her.
I genuinely can’t wait for this to finish omg. This went from one of my favorite shows this year to a dumpster…
Same, honestly same...I thought I was gonna give this drama a 10/10 or at least 9/10, but he way they are heading towards in these last episodes, will end up making me totally hate the drama.
They keep doing the same things with almost all K-dramas lately, they start super strong and get you hooked then end up in one hell of an insulting, illogical, and rushed way. Great examples are Blind and Big Mouth. Very interesting first episodes, plots, and characters, but everything goes downhill from the middle and it all crashes down like a burning plane in the end, leaving you with a very bitter mood.
My heart hurts. Ep 14 ending was not necessary wtf😭I swear they’re so gonna use this as a plot device for…
Yeah, that ruined the plot so far for me honestly. They must make the plot so overly dramatic relying on idealism and romance, making everyone miserable till they die, instead of logical. I can already tell how the drama will end and I know I wouldn't be able to give it a great rating thanks to it.
If he really switch back I will be massively pissed off, it's not like switching back will bring his father back to life or anything, so why go back to being poor, struggling, and miserable?! He did all that to escape that fate, so why go back to it, while Taeyong goes back to his creepy abusive father, and loses the family he was willing to be poor for?!
still, im glad that they went with his father’s death plot rather than using “the power of his love for juhee”…
I also don't want them to switch back honestly. I want Yohan/fake Taeyong's father to go to hell, and every other shit person like Juntee, but Seungcheon deserves to be happy and get what he needed AKA wealth, Taeyong also can enjoy the family life forever. I totally hate the father's death bullshit still.
so much has happened in this show i cant remember shit. like im pretty sure taeyong gained conciousness of the…
Well to be fair, he did it out of his pride and not wanting to rely on his real rich father after switching, nor show Seungcheon that he picked money like him. That's why after all these years, he is still nothing and Seungcheon kept advancing in business. Taeyong is so obsessed with his pride and morals, he is willing to stay poor for eternity for it and doesn't want to go back to being rich lmao
