I said the exact same things you said and did also mention that I loved Semantic Error meanwhile I don't like…
All what you said is right. Even in my country many parents and relative think they have the right to control their kids and tell them how to live their lives. When to marry, when to give birth, when to do this and that...etc and it gets on my nerves greatly! Just cause you give birth to someone, that doesn't instantly make them your doll or slave whom you can own and move the way you desire.

Lmao it's okay if you can't handle it and want to reply to their comments. I understand.

I also got attacked for mostly saying negative comments about the drama Forecasting Love and Weather. People attacked me as if I attacked them personally first. I just told my honest opinions about the drama and never insulted any of the watchers or said people shouldn't or aren't allowed to watch it just cause I dislike it. Like seriously why can't they just ignore my "overly negative" comments and move on. I also get attacked for saying positive comments about some dramas. Like at this point idk what is considered okay by these people standards.

I couldn't bring myself to watch more than 4 or 5 episodes of Eternal Love. The only reason I watched these episodes was cause I liked the demon/ghost prince and that's about it. Everything else made me hella bored so I dropped it.
I enjoyed I Told Sunset About You though, the first couple episodes were a bit boring, but it got better afterwards.
King Eternal Monarch was awful to me. Only watched one episode for Woo Do Hwan and still couldn't handle the cringe. Yeah I liked his character but the rest of characters were meh to me and I honestly not a fan of the actress playing the FL role.

Title Mr. Queen
After a very long time of avoiding this drama due to me not being into plots that heavily focus on female royals fighting each other to gain the king love type of things...etc I finally decided to give it a chance, especially since I like Kim Jung Hyun and I wasn't disappointed at all. I basically see no actual flaw in the drama. The female lead is great, the actress is very convincing me with her guy spirit inside woman's body role. Like not even once did it feel cringe or over the top. She knows how to move, behave, and speak in a realistic way. She is also quite pretty in traditional style. Kim Jung Hyun obviously is doing great too. Most support characters are funny and interesting, even the maids. The budget is clearly high and the romance is cute, kiss scenes are well done. The cinematography, outfits, sets...everything is great! Totally worth the watch. I started yesterday and now I'm already on episode 9 without realizing.

You're pathetic. Stop trolling you loser. Go watch your piece of crap that is Semantic Error and get the hell…
You're welcome! I understand your point of view. I also love dark and twisted plots as long as they are done to teach lessons and spread awareness, but my issue is that in many BLs they romanticize the shit out of toxicity. Making rape and non consent as sexy moments that watchers are supposed to enjoy and desire. Some people end up thinking that is what being romantic and in love is all about which is disturbing, so having some non toxic plots can be a really good thing at times to make everyone know how love should be.

A good example of what I mean is The Effect (Thai BL drama). It super dark, revolving around an obsessed top and rape scene, but it didn't make it sexy, instead they made it scary and the ending was depressing to show how such actions can ruin someone's live and mental health. Meanwhile in dramas like HIStory 4 Close to You similar thing happened and the couple ended up together happily as if nothing happened...that made me shudder.
I don't mind tragedies as long as they are done well.

At this point I am wondering why you even watch. You have not liked this since first episode 😀😀😀 and…
I get it, thanks for explaining and the suggestion! I understand what you mean. I do want to give this drama a chance, in hope it gets better (Since I love Song Kang, I finished some dramas I didn't like at all like Nevertheless and Love Alarm for him, still gave the dramas a low rating lmao). But if in next 3 or 4 episodes Forecasting Love and Weather don't get better I will just give up. The problem is that, it's hard to find a really good show to binge watch easily so sometimes you just want anything to pass time with.
I'm really glad that you weren't trying to attack me, just discuss your thoughts. So if in future, be it in this drama or other dramas you see a comment of mine and you feel like sharing an opinion (Agreeing or disagreeing), please do so.

Reading 1000 pages as if it's nothing sounds cool honestly. I can read hundreds of chapters of Manga, but I don't read novels/normal books. I instantly get sleepy when there are no pictures. It's kinda childish I know lol

I only consider them toxic when they hate on others personally. If they say negative things about a show or something of the sort then that's fine. It's their right. You can also ignore the opinions which you disagree with or have a mature discussion to share point of views with them when they are not being straight up rude.
It's when they go out of their way to curse and say awful words to the fellow fans/watchers/non fans...etc that's when they deserve to be called attention seekers and must be ignored.
I never use block option, I just ignore them completely lmao that will probably agitate them more.

No, I didn't honestly. Is that true? If it is then that's straight up depressing! But still the whole them calling the employee a cow and asking about her age and if she isn't married...etc is too much. Do people working in such places really have to endure such an awful verbal abuse without saying something in return like how they lectured her?
By the way what is that You Tuber/Comedian channel name? I would love to check his videos if possible.

On your 4. above, I agree with you. Too many couples are spoiling the drama. Jumping from one couple to another…
Exactly! I'm getting confused with the amount of couples everywhere. Well, I do like when actors try something new for a change to know their strong and weak points and improve. Indeed both feel a bit off, but things might get better in future episodes, that's why I keep watching. I really Love Song Kang after all lol

You're welcome by the way!

Exactly! You shouldn't bother wasting time or effort to reply to my comments if you don't agree. Just ignore them, I just want to share my honest opinion, not fight with others so please just let me be. It's my right after all and I'm not offending anyone personally, if I wanted attention, I will do like some truly rude people here do by cursing and insulting the watchers more than the dramas. I myself liked many dramas and said that I enjoyed them, yet got attacked by others for liking them. So whether I say positive or negative things I still get attacked which I don't get at all. It's just a drama and this website is created to rate and judge shows.
If you like the drama then that's fine. That's your taste and right. I won't bother replying to your positive comments to say that they are worthless or something cause I don't believe me disliking this show means others must agree as well. Nor think I'm better than you for having different opinion.
By the way I liked Happiness, will that mean I will go there and fight the people who disliked it? No, of course not. That's their issue not mine. I like happiness, I dislike Forecasting Love and Weather so far. Does it change anything or hurt anyone? No it doesn't at all.

Well, I did reply to the person above so if you want you can read my reply as well to understand my point of view. If you don't want to then it's alright. My comments are negative yeah, but that's my honest opinion, if there was something I liked, I wouldn't hesitate to mention it. I'm not saying others are supposed to hate on the drama like me, if they like it then that's also fine. I will never judge them for that. I do have the right to judge any drama I want, as long as I don't go around insulting it's fans personally. Even if I repeat my words, I still have the right to.

There are many dramas that I love with all my heart, they have lots of negative comments yet I just look the other way cause it's not harming me for real. I also get attacked for saying good things sometimes. I'm not offending you nor anyone else personally so let me be, just like I let others be as positive and negative as they like. I'm not sure if my opinions will change in next episodes, the drama might improve and it might get worse enough to make me drop, so just to let you know beforehand, don't read my future comments to save yourself the pain. If you still want to read them even if you disagree then alright. Just don't make it a reason to attack me. I still watch the drama cause ML is one of my top Korean actors, I like the whole forecasting thing since it's new, and I kinda have hope the drama will get better. Even if I don't drop and keep hating it till the end, that's my issue.

Some people might agree with my comments and find them helpful, others might disagree and find them a waste of time. Either way, I don't mind cause I'm writing them to share my thoughts not tell everyone to watch or drop. If you dislike my comments then just ignore them, don't reply. That way you will not waste your time, nor mine. Sorry if my reply sounds rude or harsh, I really don't mean it that way that's why I explained in details instead of using curse words or something of the sort.

At this point I am wondering why you even watch. You have not liked this since first episode 😀😀😀 and…
Look, I will say this not to argue or be rude to you cause there is nothing I hate more than hating on another watcher for liking something I didn't like.

First of all, am I not allowed to say my honest opinion? Or I'm supposed to only say good stuff about all shows? This website is created to rate and judge different dramas, everyone are allowed to criticize as much as their hearts desire, like, and dislike whatever they want as long as they don't attack fellow watchers for not having the same taste. If you like this drama then that's fine with me, but you don't have the right to tell me to watch or drop it. Yeah, I might be wasting my time, but that's my time not yours after all. Following your logic there is nothing forcing you to waste time on reading and replying to my comments if you find them a waste of time or overly negative. I just like to share my thoughts, if others agree then great, if not then I honestly will never be bothered by it. At times I say very positive opinions then some people will appear out of nowhere and insult me personally for liking a certain show. Why can't we just ignore it?!

Dramas are a form of art, anyone who presents their art or work overall to the world should be ready to face both criticism and good opinions. Yeah I mostly criticize this drama but there were few positive opinions I said in previous comments as well. I'm not writing these comments to please nor offend anyone. If someone finds my comments useful I will be glad, if not then I hope they just ignore it and move on and I will do the same.

Again I'm not trying to be rude so don't view it that way. My reply is long, but I wanted to explain well my point of view, even though I didn't need to explain in first place honestly, I just did it because in a way your comment wasn't too offensive or filled with curse words like how some people do online.
About the show you recommended, I don't watch western shows at all cause they don't fit my taste. I never even heard of the show you mentioned, so I don't think I will ever try checking it.

On Forecasting Love and Weather Mar 6, 2022
EP 7 :
1- Seriously do people call every 2 minutes to complain about such stupid stuff like their child being unable to go to picnic blah blah in real life?! Do that happen? That part actually bothered me cause it sounded super illogical. Also why do the workers in the forecasting station/place (Whatever it was called) need to handle shit treatment to be considered good employees. That woman wasn't wrong for yelling at that rude caller and hanging up. What right does he has to threaten them like that?! Shouldn't he be the one to be punished instead? Besides the thing that younger worker heard like the "cow" thing, how could she hear such an offensive and humiliating thing and just take it? They are humans and humans have dignity after all. I don't really agree with the speech the FL said to her honestly.
Instead of telling their employees to take insults and disrespect like that, they should make sure to protect them and don't allow the callers to go overboard. That was basically verbal assault (Along with severe sexism and perverted behavior).

2- The plot and characters are getting more and more boring. I don't know if it just me or not, but seriously I'm losing interest in a rapid speed. The main leads got zero chemistry, they feel more like normal co-workers/ kinda friends and that's it, I can't bring myself to view them as lovers at all even with the kissing and that sex scene in second episode.
ML's character is also getting boring for me (Song Kang is doing great at acting his role, I have no complains about his acting). I was glad though when he didn't instantly accept living with FL. Their relationship is moving too quick, while the two of them don't seem that in love and I don't get why they they like each other in first place till this day. I suffer to not fall sleep while watching them interact.
The second male lead is still a pain in the ass who keeps acting immature. I know he was drunk during that time he went to FL's apartment, but him thinking he has the right to get upset over her having a man in her house after he cheated on her and got married even to the one he cheated with just gets on my nerves. Even if they broke up normally without cheating involved, he still doesn't has any right to get upset. He is so insecure about his wife's ex that it hurts. They are now trying too much to make the plot funny to keep the watchers attention, but it's not really that funny...

3-The FL's acting still feels soulless even after her trying hard to keep smiling and make more expressions than her usual dead inside/exhausted face during this episode. At times I believe the actress was forced to play this role.
I hate how her character is like "lets keep our relationship a secret, give me time to adjust cause I don't want to make another mistake blah blah" one moment, then she is like "I like you you so come live with me! I want to know everything about you" The next moment. Kinda bipolar vibe at this point. Besides she doesn't feel like a lead character at all, just a character that exist and that's it.

4- They are trying so hard to shove too many couples down our throat. The main leads, the second leads, the FL's sister and the glasses dude, then there is the senior forecaster family story. I don't give any fucks about any of these couples stories honestly. I only watched for main leads and even main leads aren't worth it at this point.

The theory about it is that it has been shot a bit artistically. The words that you hear on voiceover is something…
Exactly my point! I know it's just a drama and that I might be nagging, but some people will watch this and think it's the right way to be romantic or whatever. I know cause I saw some people irl who watch shows with super toxic, abusive, creepy characters and moments and they be like "This is so romantic, I want it to happen to me" or "I would love to do that to my lover" and it makes me shudder lmao

Yeah I did love that drama mostly cause the leads had amazing chemistry and their acting was great, realistic, and chill. There kiss scenes were nice and they didn't give uncomfortable vibe, it was clear both actors were enjoying it. The drama story was decent and there wasn't something new about it to be fair, but the acting was enough for me. Also both main leads characters were well written and the drama had a nice Lesbian couple as well. There weren't toxic moments and they even made fun of many toxic stuff that were awfully overused in other BL dramas (Like sexual assaults and the whole "I don't like men I just like you crap" as if people can only be straight or gay, there are other sexualities lmao). There were no cheating on, tons of misunderstandings..etc all that nonsense.
I viewed it as a really good step for Thai BL dramas, the are improving a lot lately.

Ikr! Shinee were among my first Kpop groups that made me love Kpop a lot. Jonghyun was my favorite member from the start. It's sad how "fans" thought they had the right to torture him along with other idols like that till they reached such a point. Like godman if you don't like their music just ignore them and listen to someone else, it's not that complicated. I don't get why they just spread hate even after someone dies and they still won't stop.

Also the portrait is really nice, I love the colors you used!

Oh, I grow up using the internet actually, but I also never bothered with famous social medias like twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok...etc I just played games, watched videos on YouTube/dramas/anime, or read stuff online and that was about it. Till this day I don't bother with most social platforms to save myself the pain besides I don't really have enough energy to deal with all that negativity. There is nothing wrong with having crushes on celebrities or being a loyal fan and all that, the artists deserve it, but making your whole life revolve around it and acting as if you own the celebrities or have the right to hate on others in the name of loving them is the problem.

By the way sometimes fighting fire with fire can backfire on you more. Like when you insult haters back and argue with them for a long time. Sometimes these haters do that on purpose cause their actual goal is to gain as much attention as possible by being a jerk to trigger others to argue and get offended by their words. It can be caused by them being ignored in real life/off screen and so they do that to feel important and powerful online. It's both pitiful and bad though. So at times ignoring them and not giving that toxic attention they are seeking too much might be better and more of a punishment than wasting time on their worthless opinions.
