At this point I am wondering why you even watch. You have not liked this since first episode 😀😀😀 and…
Look, I will say this not to argue or be rude to you cause there is nothing I hate more than hating on another watcher for liking something I didn't like.
First of all, am I not allowed to say my honest opinion? Or I'm supposed to only say good stuff about all shows? This website is created to rate and judge different dramas, everyone are allowed to criticize as much as their hearts desire, like, and dislike whatever they want as long as they don't attack fellow watchers for not having the same taste. If you like this drama then that's fine with me, but you don't have the right to tell me to watch or drop it. Yeah, I might be wasting my time, but that's my time not yours after all. Following your logic there is nothing forcing you to waste time on reading and replying to my comments if you find them a waste of time or overly negative. I just like to share my thoughts, if others agree then great, if not then I honestly will never be bothered by it. At times I say very positive opinions then some people will appear out of nowhere and insult me personally for liking a certain show. Why can't we just ignore it?!
Dramas are a form of art, anyone who presents their art or work overall to the world should be ready to face both criticism and good opinions. Yeah I mostly criticize this drama but there were few positive opinions I said in previous comments as well. I'm not writing these comments to please nor offend anyone. If someone finds my comments useful I will be glad, if not then I hope they just ignore it and move on and I will do the same.
Again I'm not trying to be rude so don't view it that way. My reply is long, but I wanted to explain well my point of view, even though I didn't need to explain in first place honestly, I just did it because in a way your comment wasn't too offensive or filled with curse words like how some people do online. About the show you recommended, I don't watch western shows at all cause they don't fit my taste. I never even heard of the show you mentioned, so I don't think I will ever try checking it.
EP 7 : 1- Seriously do people call every 2 minutes to complain about such stupid stuff like their child being unable to go to picnic blah blah in real life?! Do that happen? That part actually bothered me cause it sounded super illogical. Also why do the workers in the forecasting station/place (Whatever it was called) need to handle shit treatment to be considered good employees. That woman wasn't wrong for yelling at that rude caller and hanging up. What right does he has to threaten them like that?! Shouldn't he be the one to be punished instead? Besides the thing that younger worker heard like the "cow" thing, how could she hear such an offensive and humiliating thing and just take it? They are humans and humans have dignity after all. I don't really agree with the speech the FL said to her honestly. Instead of telling their employees to take insults and disrespect like that, they should make sure to protect them and don't allow the callers to go overboard. That was basically verbal assault (Along with severe sexism and perverted behavior).
2- The plot and characters are getting more and more boring. I don't know if it just me or not, but seriously I'm losing interest in a rapid speed. The main leads got zero chemistry, they feel more like normal co-workers/ kinda friends and that's it, I can't bring myself to view them as lovers at all even with the kissing and that sex scene in second episode. ML's character is also getting boring for me (Song Kang is doing great at acting his role, I have no complains about his acting). I was glad though when he didn't instantly accept living with FL. Their relationship is moving too quick, while the two of them don't seem that in love and I don't get why they they like each other in first place till this day. I suffer to not fall sleep while watching them interact. The second male lead is still a pain in the ass who keeps acting immature. I know he was drunk during that time he went to FL's apartment, but him thinking he has the right to get upset over her having a man in her house after he cheated on her and got married even to the one he cheated with just gets on my nerves. Even if they broke up normally without cheating involved, he still doesn't has any right to get upset. He is so insecure about his wife's ex that it hurts. They are now trying too much to make the plot funny to keep the watchers attention, but it's not really that funny...
3-The FL's acting still feels soulless even after her trying hard to keep smiling and make more expressions than her usual dead inside/exhausted face during this episode. At times I believe the actress was forced to play this role. I hate how her character is like "lets keep our relationship a secret, give me time to adjust cause I don't want to make another mistake blah blah" one moment, then she is like "I like you you so come live with me! I want to know everything about you" The next moment. Kinda bipolar vibe at this point. Besides she doesn't feel like a lead character at all, just a character that exist and that's it.
4- They are trying so hard to shove too many couples down our throat. The main leads, the second leads, the FL's sister and the glasses dude, then there is the senior forecaster family story. I don't give any fucks about any of these couples stories honestly. I only watched for main leads and even main leads aren't worth it at this point.
The theory about it is that it has been shot a bit artistically. The words that you hear on voiceover is something…
Exactly my point! I know it's just a drama and that I might be nagging, but some people will watch this and think it's the right way to be romantic or whatever. I know cause I saw some people irl who watch shows with super toxic, abusive, creepy characters and moments and they be like "This is so romantic, I want it to happen to me" or "I would love to do that to my lover" and it makes me shudder lmao
You're pathetic. Stop trolling you loser. Go watch your piece of crap that is Semantic Error and get the hell…
Yeah I did love that drama mostly cause the leads had amazing chemistry and their acting was great, realistic, and chill. There kiss scenes were nice and they didn't give uncomfortable vibe, it was clear both actors were enjoying it. The drama story was decent and there wasn't something new about it to be fair, but the acting was enough for me. Also both main leads characters were well written and the drama had a nice Lesbian couple as well. There weren't toxic moments and they even made fun of many toxic stuff that were awfully overused in other BL dramas (Like sexual assaults and the whole "I don't like men I just like you crap" as if people can only be straight or gay, there are other sexualities lmao). There were no cheating on, tons of misunderstandings..etc all that nonsense. I viewed it as a really good step for Thai BL dramas, the are improving a lot lately.
Ikr! Shinee were among my first Kpop groups that made me love Kpop a lot. Jonghyun was my favorite member from the start. It's sad how "fans" thought they had the right to torture him along with other idols like that till they reached such a point. Like godman if you don't like their music just ignore them and listen to someone else, it's not that complicated. I don't get why they just spread hate even after someone dies and they still won't stop.
Also the portrait is really nice, I love the colors you used!
Well, probably yeah. I suppose they showed it in this drama as a way to criticize the whole thing. Just like plots…
Many countries around the world are filled with similar issues. It's quite disturbing, but weak citizens can not do much about it most of the time sadly. You're welcome by the way!
I said the exact same things you said and did also mention that I loved Semantic Error meanwhile I don't like…
Oh, I grow up using the internet actually, but I also never bothered with famous social medias like twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok...etc I just played games, watched videos on YouTube/dramas/anime, or read stuff online and that was about it. Till this day I don't bother with most social platforms to save myself the pain besides I don't really have enough energy to deal with all that negativity. There is nothing wrong with having crushes on celebrities or being a loyal fan and all that, the artists deserve it, but making your whole life revolve around it and acting as if you own the celebrities or have the right to hate on others in the name of loving them is the problem.
By the way sometimes fighting fire with fire can backfire on you more. Like when you insult haters back and argue with them for a long time. Sometimes these haters do that on purpose cause their actual goal is to gain as much attention as possible by being a jerk to trigger others to argue and get offended by their words. It can be caused by them being ignored in real life/off screen and so they do that to feel important and powerful online. It's both pitiful and bad though. So at times ignoring them and not giving that toxic attention they are seeking too much might be better and more of a punishment than wasting time on their worthless opinions.
You're pathetic. Stop trolling you loser. Go watch your piece of crap that is Semantic Error and get the hell…
I loved Bad Buddy, but I do admit it wasn't a perfect show. Personally I highly enjoyed it even though the plot wasn't that unique, but I still gave it a high rating cause the acting and chemistry were worth it. I don't believe that there is a 100% flawless show, it just depends on everyone's taste. If a show gets me in the mood and has a convincing acting then I will give it a good rating. I do know people were always toxic in a way, but recent generation became more vocal thanks to the different social media platforms indeed. They throw death threats and insults left and right as if they are in a competition to win best hater award. Like seriously it's actually both horrifying and pathetic at times how far they will be willing to get triggered for literally nothing. Also that's cool, I really hope things go well for you and you manage to reach your goals soon. Always stay strong and determined till you make your dreams a reality. Honestly I don't listen to Western music that much, especially English pop so I'm not a fan of Taylor, but I get what you mean lol.
I said the exact same things you said and did also mention that I loved Semantic Error meanwhile I don't like…
Lmao even if them or their father directed it, they should still take the criticism cause that's how they can improve. Even their fav actors might not like how their fans get crazy and hateful while pretending to defend them. Why be rude and angry as hell over a drama?! That just shows how childish and mentally messed up a person is. Besides it only make their favs embarrassed by how toxic their fans are. Some artists even get hated on and attacked for having crazy fans which shows that hatred only backfires on both the obsessive fans and their poor favs who don't have a fault.
You're pathetic. Stop trolling you loser. Go watch your piece of crap that is Semantic Error and get the hell…
I mean dramas and acting are a form of art. Art in all it forms including music even will always get criticized which makes sense since that's how the artist themselves will learn how to improve their work. Mature artists who are actually passionate will accept the criticism and make it a stepping stone to become better. So how come the watchers act like this and don't accept the criticism?! It doesn't make sense at all. Shows depend on watchers ratings mostly and if the watchers aren't happy then that could ruin the show which shows that people opinions do matter. Even if most people hate it that doesn't mean no on is allowed to like a certain show. Dramas and art exist to make people entertained and happy, not try to murder each other for stupidest reasons. Insulting other people and saying hurtful things just cause they don't share same taste is quite sad. This is indeed why many people view recent fandoms of music and other stuff as toxic and overly obsessives. I don't get why people became so sensitive and ill tempered nowadays. You could seriously get attacked for breathing at times! I love many actors, but if I think that they aren't trying their best at acting or their dramas aren't good, I won't hesitate to admit it cause it's the truth. If other people hate on my top actors skills, I wouldn't care cause it's not harming me personally and it's non of my business. They are free to like other actors or judge as much as they desire.
Of course I will keep writing what I want cause I know I have the right to, especially since I'm not spreading pointless hatred. I'm just doing what I should do as a member of this website which is be honest and give my own rating and reviews. Even If I happen to be the only person in the world who dislike this drama, I will still say it. Thanks for agreeing with me!
i am on its 2nd episode and it feels like skipping because I really couldn't find anything interesting ...and…
I actually skipped a lot, especially the romance unnecessary scenes. I mostly focused on the bromance scenes. Even the cases were awfully boring and FL is super annoying and even creepy at times. Honestly if you want to watch something just check the scenes between brothers which happen mostly after like episode 8 or something of the sort, but probably just dropping the drama to watch something more worth it is a better option since you can find these scenes in an FMV on YouTube I suppose. Bromance was like 10% of the drama anyway.
I honestly don't get how this drama got such a high rating. I hate how they focused on the romance, instead of letting us clearly know what happens to Min. I wanted the siblings to stay together forever and them to somehow catch the psychopath, but instead of that we get this lackluster ending. Nothing changed at all from start till end. Also it feels as if ML cared way more about FL than his brother. Like even during that time that thug attacked his "most precious someone" ML instantly rushed to call the FL, then bothered to think about his brother after he made sure she was okay. In his mind it was mostly FL who existed and the romance was so rushed and forced that it made me hella uncomfortable. Also the FL was freaking annoying and useless, I don't get why he fell for her in first place. Only thing that kept me watching was the bond between the brothers and that's it. Even the detectives were more on the annoying and comical side that I couldn't take them seriously at all.
Is it normal to get hit at police training in korea?
Well, probably yeah. I suppose they showed it in this drama as a way to criticize the whole thing. Just like plots that involve political corruption, bullying, sexism, and the whole violence that could happen during their military mandatory service (Which was shown in D.P).
The theory about it is that it has been shot a bit artistically. The words that you hear on voiceover is something…
To be honest I don't really understand this whole artistically thing (I'm not arguing with you or trying to be rude, I truly don't get it that much). Yeah, you might be right, but such an important thing should be done in a way all people would get. Going artistic or vague when it comes to matters related to consent doesn't sit right with me. I know I might be considered dumb for not getting it the way you did, but it proves that not everyone would get it and it could be viewed as negative points or uncomfortable moment for the drama.
Currently on ep 8 and well, isn't it weird that Seung Hyun kissed Eungang even though he thought she liked that senior dude? I know it's supposed to be romantic and Eungang actually likes him and she made it clear she accepted the kiss when she didn't bother pushing him away nor reject the second kiss, but what would happen if she did like the senior instead of him? Like if I was in such a situation, I would be pissed off if some dude (Even if it's my dear friend) kiss me all of a sudden without checking if I want it too or not, the fact that he thought she didn't like him when doing it made it worse. What if it was her first kiss and she wanted to give it to the senior whom she is supposed to be in love with then he just takes it by force? Just the thought of it made me uncomfortable. I would rather he let her finish what she was saying or asked for permission first before rushing like that. I know I may sound a bit harsh or close minded, but It just bothered me a bit.
Apart from that, I liked everything else. The characters keep getting better and better. The plot is getting more interesting and fun (Glad they didn't make it awfully gloomy and dark). The romance isn't cringe or too much and I love the great friendship between the main characters. I did find the FL a bit annoying during first two episodes, but she grew on me the more I watched. I totally love Kim Tak, him and Seung Hyun are my favorite characters.
Honestly, this series is boring as hell. By the title, reading the synopses and seeing some clips I thought it…
I said the exact same things you said and did also mention that I loved Semantic Error meanwhile I don't like this one, but some people attacked and insulted me for it as if they were the ones who directed this drama or something. It's sad when you get personally insulted just for stating your honest opinion and criticism which is the whole point this website exist to begin with. Just cause we didn't like this drama, it doesn't mean that others aren't allowed to watch or like it. It all depends on taste.
You're pathetic. Stop trolling you loser. Go watch your piece of crap that is Semantic Error and get the hell…
I don't understand why I can't tell what shows I prefer. I'm not trying to be rude or argue with you personally, I don't think I was being harsh for saying that I like Semantic Error more. I just want to be honest and share my opinion, if someone disagree then that's fine (As long as they say it respectfully) since I won't bother insulting another watcher over it myself. I wasn't trying to hurt anyone by admitting I don't like this show or that I think Semantic Error is better done. This website exist to rate and criticize dramas after all.
You're pathetic. Stop trolling you loser. Go watch your piece of crap that is Semantic Error and get the hell…
Look, I just stated my opinion. I don't like this drama but I like Semantic Error. I do have the right to criticize the shows here and voice my taste just like anyone else, this is why this website exist in first place. I won't lie and say I love everything about all shows that ever existed since that would be the actual trolling. If you prefer this drama over Semantic Error then that's fine. I'm okay with it cause you also have the right to like and dislike whatever you want, but don't insult me personally. I didn't insult you personally or any of this drama watchers and I would never call anyone pathetic or a loser for liking something I don't like cause that's just disrespectful. Everyone have their own taste, so please don't spread unnecessary hatred over a drama.
First of all, am I not allowed to say my honest opinion? Or I'm supposed to only say good stuff about all shows?
