Another drama so totally different from the drama, like ASM is so different but I loved that novel too! The Story of Minglan is a favorite thatās on my rewatch list too! I know this dramaās novel and TSoML will read in the future too!
Why do they call her Yuan Niang in the first episode? Thatās what Viki translation says whoever is gossiping about her as she wakes up (but the caption identifies her as Ye Li.)
Their marriages werenāt arranged, they were by Imperial decree. What was the Empress scheming exactly? Did she switch partners so the not-smart sister would be with the supposedly debauched joke of a prince?
And the smart one to the disabled prince thinking they were both effectively ācut off at the knees?ā Too powerless to plot revenge? Or too, that this makes Ye Li a hostage.
