First time making a comment on this site... because episode 14 was too amazing. The desperation of the characters…
Hello and congrats on first comment! :)
IT WAS AMAZING scene and indeed they acted it perfectly, you COULD feel theirs emotions and desperations (at least me) and it broke my heart.
We somehow knew that they can't die, but for every short moment I had the feeling, that writers will do something stupid and kill them (that would be epic death scene also, but don't want them to die ofc!!!!) and they will reincarnate to fall in love with each other again.
Thank Drama Gods they are safe, but I had emotional roller-coaster.
Guys the problem isn't that they haven't already kissed or started dating (i usually drop dramas where…
You have some valid point too @Alekwang :)
I think that regardless of some of us found romance either "slow but nice", "boring" or "dragging", we all want some kisses already :D ;)
As flawed as people say it is.
I still adore this drama ♡
Does this drama have flaws? Yes, ofc. Do I see them? Yes, I am not blind. Do I care? NOT AT ALL. XD
Do I realise that I am shipping OTP and Hyung Sik, not drama itself? Yes ❤❤❤
But this drama does with me, that NO other drama did in a very long long time... so I really enjoy the entertainment and expectation it's giving me. :D
I understand, why some (most?) of viewers think romance is quite slow in SWDBS. Yes, I would wish that they would be already be kissing and dating and having all couple cute scenes. Omg, I wish for it as well so much!!!
But (maybe I haven't watched enough romantic dramas?), I don't find romance THAT bad and slow (despite that ofc I want them to kiss already coz they are cute).
Maybe because as drama viewers we get used to "faster" romances (not all dramas, but I think most?) - 1st episode and bam, female lead is totally in love in male lead (who doesn't care about her), 3rd episode they start to feel "tense", 5th episode and bam male lead suddenly fall in love too, bam they already fall in love like they have been dating forever in episode 7. (ofc it's over-exaggerated but you see my point)
Yes, I know it's "drama world" and here everything can happen (fast?), but isn't it nice once in a while to see something more realistic than forced kissed and sudden change of feeling just from the blue sky (in terms of 1st leads they tend to do that).
Min Hyuk and Bong Soon, in my opinion (at least), has quite nice and rather normal relationship and they progress naturally and gradually from co-workers, to friends and then to romance instead of fast transition from "boss-employee" to "forever lovers".
Also like their not only "romance-related" scenes but also daily life and work scenes.
PS. but yes, I hope Drama Gods won't force us to wait much longer (tho I think it wouldn't be the only drama when couple ended up together at the very end of the drama, right? Please correct me if I am wrong).
Stay strong SWDBS fans and let's cross our fingers! xD
Ok... I feel like it if this has already been said, I may be a broken record, but I get so damned tired. I mean…
Not sure, if there will be such a need as you have expressed your thoughts, with which I agree, and I have express my thoughts regarding the way they were expressed (and this matter was also explained by you later on).
I still think it would be a good idea to share such feedback with the drama producers - if there would be a way to contact them (like sending email to tv station), so they may consider it for the future (maybe they would take info consideration the feedback from international fans).
Because, yes we can discuss here these matters, but producers rather won't read our opinions here, but if things may change in SK and drama industry, when they should be bought to creators attention.
PS. you can PM any time, not only about this particular matter but any drama related discussion ;)

You may probably don't agree with me or hate me, but oh well... Mind, I found some of these "humorous" scenes uncomfortable and not nice as well.
@Astrologist, I understand and respect your point of view on this matter, but you saying "No, it should bother you!" is rather strong term - should the way "how people have feel about these problems" be forced instead of changed thanks to substantive discussion? Because excuse me, but it felt like someone is telling me/other people how we should feel about it (even tho I may feel the same).
And that if someone is not feeling the same way (or like in terms of SK they make it as a jokes)? Is making arguments and crusade a good answer for these social problems? Yes, it is regrettable, annoying and sad, that the world is not perfect and that we all should wish for world-wide social awareness of these important matters (LGBTQ, domestic violence and MANY MANY MORE).
Maybe community-made petition to jtbc about how fans are feeling about these "jokes" would help them understand the problem and avoid them in future productions? (And no, I am not sarcastic now - maybe it would be indeed a nice idea?)
Yes, as a drama lover we are watching Asian dramas and get angry when we see certain stereotypes, which "may be funny or normal" (?!?!) in Asia, but isn't Western culture having also other problems? "Whitening Asians" in TV/movies, using the image of "stereotypical Asian person" as a jokes? Is it better? It's hurting and making jokes of 60% of world population! Hey, how many jokes about "dump blonde girls" we have? I am blonde girl myself and I should be very very angry about them.
This world has many many more flaws and problems and not only SK/drama writers are here to blame, I am pretty sure Western culture would have such jokes somewhere as well. I'm saying it's not only SK problem but whole world problem - even my own home country is considered as quite conservative and homophobic.
To dearest Ahn "son-in-law" Min Hyuk, YOU know you like her WE know you like her SHE knows you like…
I was rooting for the kiss as well.
Yes, she was expecting it and closed her eyes. He was ready and even planned to.
But, there was one point why it make sense: have you noticed she tighten her hand on his shoulder and she was quite tense at that moment and little bit of scared?
He NOTICED IT and that's why he backed out. Remember, he is person who respects her and her feeling and he is not forcing himself on her. I am sure, it required a lot of his self-control, as since episode 8 he stopped hiding his feeling and took more active actions - backing out wasn't easy for him, but was awesome from his side.
(I am sure Gook Doo would force the kiss already...)
And honestly, I prefer to have male lead who respect female lead and her feelings, than "typical" forced kisses... That way, theirs feeling are developing more naturally.
I hope for the kissing scene, but think Min Hyuk will not force it, he is slowly but surly moving toward Bong Soon and she will willingly accepting him... very soon... (this weekend plx ok?)
So I can know, I am not only one crazy person on this planet. :)
