don't know if you can address or if it should be in the article, but here's questions:1) is the drama based on…
I can understand, that Japanese colonial era is very sensitive topic in Korea (and China), but also other sageuks set in Joseon or older periods dramas are also not entirely accurate and use a dose of free interpretation/romanization of the facts/period and they have no problem with it...
I'm also pretty sure other sageuks/period dramas also have some strong propaganda feelings (like Chinese dramas from colonial era ect.), but if someone is doing "free interpretation" then it's bad, but if they do about someone else it's ok...
I was always grateful for subtitles, but I understood how hard and a lot of work it is when I started translating from English to Polish on Viki :O
It's indeed more text to translate per episode (or in case on Viki system, per fragment of 10 min) and my first translations took me whole day. Once I used to it it took like 2-4h depending on drama, some texts/dramas were easier or harder - mostly depending if I liked them :D
Kudos to all translators, segmenters and Team :D Thank you for hard work allowing me to watch dramas days/hours after it's released! <3
Thank you for making article about Asadoras, I really love them (watched 4 alrady). My first one was actually really old one from 1983 - Oshin :D It was hard to found it online but it was worth it.
After that I watched Asa ga Kita, Gochisousan, Hanako To Anne and now planning 5th ^^
PS. would be nice to have articule about Taiga too :D
This was straight up a waste of my time. Thankfully I had no expectations but damn this was all over the place,…
I agree. I'm currently on episode 16 and I will finish it since I spent so much time on it, but I'm neither impressed nor interested in the story or characters... It wasn't even funny for me, so I can't connect to the "funny" part either :S
This was an amazing saeguk and one of the best of 2017 for sure. Lots of feelings were involved as well as the…
Yes, that was one of the best sageuks this year (even better than Ruler with my beloved Seung Ho :P). Really liked it and indeed Lee Dong Gun deserves a special prize for acting as a king.
I just low sageuk and other period dramas <3
