you're right, but maybe the story tells us that the dragons were wrong and they did actually need jiling? all the time he was called the fake dragon but in fact he was... i think it's part of the premise. u may have the dragon's sign/scale/power, it takes more to win?
it's not too solid as an argument because of the final battle they give but i agree that the teamwork of the supposed couples was not really there...

'becoming the dragon' the most disappointing part for me! as if it was nevr challenged. even wangyang's journey was more detailed. their couple story was solid and beautiful.

i agree and disagree. i think Joseph had his moments especially the stone arc and the ending ! but i agree in the sense that sometimes his presence was taken for granted. why? was it the execution? was it his character's personality? his character is a very 'naive' hero compared to jiling.

i agree some things were confusing as it unfolds before i even understand it. also translation captions are so fast!
this chat helped A LOT to understand because its a beautiful story! hanba causes catastrophes, (drought) and jiu ying wanted to provoke it by sending wang yang. when hanba speaks it amplifies the drought. jiu ying feeds on despair but also the drought helps him access something related to dragon/water i already forgot that bit 😅 it was explained by a member here on the chat so hopefully someone can complete/correct

i think its a good ending.
if i understood correctly:
1.those who died lost their memory of that timeline, wangyan was asleep so i think she remembers. which is a beautiful ending for this couple!
2.I'm not sure about the exit of jiling and awu from the timetravel: he took awu with him so she still exists but why did they both loose their memories?
is it a parallel world?
3. it's still a nice ending for jiling and awu as they reach their dream of carefree, pure innocence they were deprived of. its sad that they don't remember all they went through together

its one of those shows that raise the bar and remind us why we love dramas! it was not just exciting visually but the storyline was brillant! often a show starts great but looses the plot, underwhelms etc etc. this one kept the level of crazy twists till the ending!! and 5 main characters all had their own beautiful evolution ! i can't believe how great this show is🙌

its one of the rare shows that i am compeltely hooked but i was ok with 1 ep/day because every episode is ❤️‍🔥 and somehow i trust the plot even if i'm really wondering about some things rn 🤣

the problem is that any clip even in an episode can be an illusion or before plot twist ! i like that but oh how i felt for them in this episode💔💔
