Not bad! I like that it takes a different approach instead of relying on the same old tropes and character dynamics. It feels pretty refreshing. However, ML's tsundere personality towards FL is starting to get a bit exhausting to watch 😅
Really liked the reborn FL vs. the modern transmigrated antagonist. 👍 My only issue was that the transmigrator behaved more like a young teenager from the modern era, so her character came across as way too childish. 🤦♀️🤷♀️ The ending kind of lost me though—I got bored during the last few episodes.

My opinion? This drama revolves around one seriously dysfunctional royal family where everyone’s pride and stubbornness keep creating bigger and bigger messes. 😭
What frustrated me the most from the very beginning was how ML was treated. The king had him brought back against his will, forced him to solve the royal family's problems, tried to kill him when things didn't go according to plan, and then summoned him again to clean up yet another crisis... including the princess's mess. The poor guy just couldn't catch a break.
I understand that the king and the queen dowager both have their own sins and secrets, and the princess is unbelievably stubborn and obnoxious. But honestly, every member of the royal family felt beyond saving.
The princess especially got on my nerves. She refused to listen to ml, and it never felt like she genuinely regretted her actions or understood the consequences they had on everyone around her. Time after time, ML was the one left cleaning up the chaos she created and carrying the burden of her stubbornness.
Personally, I think ML should've walked away after dealing with the dead consort. Episodes 1–4 were actually pretty enjoyable despite the flaws, but Episodes 5–8 started to feel repetitive and unnecessarily dragged out. It became frustrating watching everyone repeat the same mistakes instead of learning from them. I do have to give credit where it's due — the action scene in Episode 8 was good.
I wouldn't call it a bad drama. It's not amazing.. Overall, I was still entertained enough to finish it...

This drama is so much better than Wang Yi Lei's version, Swing Me to Your Heart (2025). FL is far more active and bold. Of course, she still acts like a sweet, gentle girl whenever she's with ML, but it's actually cute. She's like a little kitten constantly asking for his attention and love. 🥹
The only part that annoyed me was the family and ex-fiancé. Their persistent, shameless harassment of FL was ridiculously insane for a 3-hour show
Good story, but it's just not my cup of tea. FL is a little too graceful for me, even when she's fighting back. Every move she makes feels so well-planned and calculated. The romance is a slow burn because of their past experiences, which is fine, but the misunderstandings and identity reveal took way too long. Overall, I still finished it, so it's not bad—it just wasn't for me.
Nice drama—definitely better than Xue Zi Qi's version (古穿今：她靠修仙在现代风生水起). However, ML was disappointing. I kept waiting for his character to become more important, but he ended up feeling like a backgroud character. There were barely any romantic moments or meaningful chemistry between the leads, so his role didn't feel particularly necessary. 😑
