Enjoyed the drama overall, but the female lead (FL) wasn’t my favorite. I almost gave up a few times, but the two male leads (MLs) really carried the show and kept me hooked until the end.
I find season 2 is weaker than season 1. Shen Yi’s pencil sketches are still the highlight—they’re detailed and emotionally powerful. The colored pieces, however, feel less sharp and impactful, and the change in style ends up being a letdown. Plus, the ongoing back-and-forth between Du Cheng’s by-the-book style and Shen Yi’s psychological methods drags the story, making their clashes feel repetitive and a bit exhausting.
First profiling-themed cdrama for me and it feels pretty fresh! I really like the sketch artist concept and the case-by-case format. It’s not super intense or gritty, but it’s still an interesting change from what I usually watch.
Curiosity won, so I watched it… I thought I was brave enough—turns out I wasn’t 😭😂 I’m not really a fan of horror or anything involving spirits or ghosts, so I probably set myself up 😅😂 I finished the drama, but every slow, eerie reveal took a year off my life 😱😂 Great story, yes. The creepy ghosts? Hard pass 😂
Love this drama! The emotional complexity of the characters was really well done—you can truly feel the emotional trauma experienced by the three main characters, and it felt very real and relatable.
Maybe it’s just my personal preference, but I did find myself a little bored during some of the slower main plot points, and some emotional scenes felt a bit drawn out...guess that’s what you get with 38 episodes 😅.
That said, overall this drama was excellent, and I highly recommend watching it!
Not bad at all!! It feels like a blend of TVB’s Forensic Heroes《法證先鋒》 and the American series CSI. Despite a few action-packed moments, the last two episodes felt flat and very predictable. The only upside is that the main case has finally been solved.
Not a fan of system-controlled MCs, but I watched for Cheng Yi. Still dropped at ep 4. Xiao Qiushui is flat and weirdly entitled, especially with how he forces a bond with Feng Lang. Just wasn’t for me.
Although I’m not usually into slow-burn dramas, I managed to finish this one 😅 The CP’s gradual attempt to grow closer was interesting, especially with FL often misunderstanding ML’s quiet care 🤦♀️ Overall, it’s a good, subtle drama
The drama had a bit too much talking, but overall it was decent. I was disappointed the CP didn’t end up together. The FL not wanting marriage was understandable, but her settling into a platonic-type relationship with the ML felt a little bittersweet
Not a bad drama—not amazing, but definitely not mediocre. The FL doesn’t just survive, she protects her family and keeps her dignity as the ML’s wife, winning respect in the household. The ML is always there even if he hides his identity at first. Overall, I enjoyed it.
It wasn’t a bad drama, but it didn’t really pull me in. Some decent scenes, but the acting felt stiff, like the actors weren’t quite in tune with their roles. It wasn’t awful, just didn’t keep me hooked
Love this CP so much, they’re seriously adorable together 💕 FL’s modern career survival guide in the harem is way too funny 😂 ML’s mischievous gaze and his “overly enthusiastic” energy crack me up. I almost feel bad for him—every concubine and even his main wife seem a little scared because ML is just… too much 😂 FL & ML have really great chemistry. Watching them together is such a joy 🥰 Also really love FL’s relationship with her two maids 🥰 It’s so wholesome and refreshing to see them treated like actual partners, not just background characters. And their bonus pay is super special—way more than an average maid would get in the mansion 😂 The only tiny, tiny thing for me is FL often mentioning she’s “from a humble family” whenever things don’t go her way. It’s understandable, but hearing it repeatedly made me roll my eyes a little with a sigh 🙄 Still really enjoying this series overall—super cute and fun!
I’ve tried my best and dropped it at episode 4. I’d actually been curious to watch this ever since I saw the trailer, which made it look promising. IMO, the drama feels overrated though. The storyline is interesting overall, but the FL was kinda meh to me and felt mentally weak. There was way too much slow-mo, and the physician kid felt overacting.
