In a state of perpetual exhaustion

I like how FY became Mumu now. You can see he changed a lot trough this journey. Actually FY and MuMu are one…
Mumu is his true self. It's who he would've been if he hadn't encountered so many hardships and tragedies in life. He doesn't need to pretend to be some ruthless monster in front of Bai Shou anymore.

This is often the case in cdrama. Bts is almost always better because its not edited. Its very annoying sometimes!!…
Oh, that must be it. Those are usually web dramas so maybe they have less strict censorship. The idol drama I was referring to is Accidentally In Love. It was a relatively short web drama that was released on Netflix back in 2018. The episodes were around 24-30 minutes long.

it's always like that for many drama, the bts kiss is almost always better than the one shown. probably censorship…
Most likely censorship because the first idol C-drama I watched back in 2018 had uncensored kissing scenes that left me shocked. That was my first C-drama too and it led me to believe that C-dramas were more open to kissing scenes. Boy was I wrong! Turns out it was not the rule but one of the exceptions. lol

I'm confused too because the first idol drama I watched had intense kissing scenes. I was shocked because most Asian idol dramas have very tame kissing scenes to practically none.

I see. Must be because xianxia is aimed at a younger audience.

In the Story of Kunning Palace there were more intense kissing scenes, though. I wonder if it has something to do with the content rating.

I would like modern one than wuxia ✨
Ruipeng transforms completely when in costume, though. He looks better in hanfu imho. I wasn't a fan of his modern drama looks. Unless he grows out his hair and plays a cool artsy musician or something. lol And I also prefer Bai Lu in costume. I dunno, modern dramas are just not my thing. I rarely watch them.

I thought she had most chemistry with Dylan Wang watched their drama & variety shows...then ARP coming in now…
That rumor came out mid-last year when rumors of Bai Lu and Zhang Linghe started circulating. Ruipeng and Bai Lu's management teams immediately shut it down and even threatened to sue anyone who would continue to spread the rumor. I think it was partly to discourage the fans from becoming toxic about it because she and Zhang Linghe also have CP fans who would probably scream bloody murder at Ao Ruipeng for breaking up their favorite love team.

I hope so. They were already rumored to be dating. Apparently, Ruipeng is the third party in her breakup with Zhang Linghe. lol I've also encountered fans of hers that swear she and Didi are the real couple and couldn't be convinced otherwise. I don't know what to believe tbh. Whoever she chooses to be with is her business. For all we know she's already married to a non-showbiz guy. Liu Yuning was married for years, we only found out when he announced that he's already divorced. They tend to hide their private lives unless they feel the need to reveal their relationship status. We will all find out if she decides to announce her marriage in the future.

Maybe. Or maybe because of fan wars and the persistent controversies surrounding them. Managements tend to do that when a CP is involved in a relationship scandal that got a lot of negative reactions from fans. Actors are rumored to date each other all the time but if there is no public backlash, they let it go. But they almost always deny it to prevent things from getting out of hand. One good example is the persistent relationship rumors between Song Yi and Bai Jingting. Their fans are supportive so it's alright. They were seen vacationing together many times. But their managements consistently deny the dating rumors even though it's quite evident that they are a couple.

According to Hongyi, Ruipeng tends to "annoy" and tease his co-stars to help them relieve stress and lighten up their moods. When his co-stars are happy, he's happy. I guess he really likes Bai Lu because he bothered her as much as he bothered Hongyi who became a close friend of his. lol

He's a jokester so he teases everybody but he's usually more reserved with his female co-stars and tries to act more respectable. But with Bai Lu, he's his usual dorky self. lol And I notice that Bai Lu doesn't hold back either. She constantly teases him and beats him up like they were childhood friends.

I think it's because she's the type who gets along with basically everybody. She strikes me as the tomboy-type when she was a kid who was friends with all the boys in school. But until Ao Ruipeng, she got along the most off screen with Didi among her CP partners. She and Ruipeng, however, act like they've known each other since they were kids, they appear so familiar with each other. And I've never seen Ruipeng act so casually and playfully with any of his female co-stars before. The last time I saw him happily and regularly play fight with a co-star was with Li Hongyi when they were shooting and promoting The Blood of Youth. He and Hongyi developed a very close friendship and have kept in touch since.

So, if I remember correctly the emotion left for the stone to gather is greed right? I say that's quite the fitting…
I think those are false memories. I have reason to believe that Luan Zhu planted those dreams in Fan Yue's mind and even captured the Turtle to lure him and Bai Shou. It makes sense that she would lead him to believe that he was the one who pursued her in the past and that they were indeed lovers. Remember when Fan Yue was sleeping and she made him dream about her so he would come to her? There's still a possibility that Xingyue and Jingyuan's past relationship is exactly the same as the one in Ancient Love Poetry. We'll just have to wait and see.

So I was right. There's more to Fu Ling than meets the eye. I didn't particularly like or hate her, I waited for…
And Chong Zhao's obsession with Bai Shou and why their bond was never fully explored makes sense now. They had to save that for this arc.

So I was right. There's more to Fu Ling than meets the eye. I didn't particularly like or hate her, I waited for things to unfold so I could better understand her character and motivations before judging her, and now we know. Killing indiscriminately becomes a habit when that's all you know and you have never felt what it's like to have compassion or kindness shown to you. I'm not condoning her actions but I can understand why she did what she did. Unfortunately, I think she will die saving her little sister, just like Qi Feng did for his brother.

Chong Zhou really is an idiot. More than 10 years “in love” with Shou thinking she had written those Poems…
I think someone here wrote this in the spoiler comments. Was this actually in the novel or did somebody leak the script?
