I watched Daisy and A Moment to Remember in the same day and I must say, poor Jung Woo Sung can't catch a break :-( This movie is slow but captivating. A cop and assassin fall for the same girl. How are they going to play this one out?! The film takes you through the beginning of when/how Jeong Woo and Park Yi meet Hye Young and their interaction with each other (or lack there of in Park Yi's case), and also the thoughts and feelings Hye Young develops for each of them through their own narrations. But then, all hell breaks loose and the story changes course. You equally like both Jeong Woo and Park Yi, even though Park Yi's actions in the beginning are nothing short of stalkerish. He has his reasons though and they're good ones. Both men basically want to do what's best for Hye Young and truly wish for her happiness. I'm not really sure how I thought this movie would go before I started watching it, but I didn't really expect anything that happened. Not gonna lie, the ending kind of shocked me. All in all, I really liked it. The pace of the story may not appeal to everyone but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. On a side note, the shootouts were actually pretty good. I find most cops in Asian dramas to be really lame and horribly portrayed and any kind of gun battle silly and very unrealistic but I was impressed by this movie. Good job!
