It is being eng subbed by kissasian themselves, the subs are not the incomplete and poor ones from youtube. Five…
Nope, Kissasian doesn't have a team of subbers. Just like Dramacool they copy from other sites. I believe only viki, the production companies themselves or sometimes fans (through Youtube and Facebook) translate. All the other sites plagiarise.

you're right about Yang Mi & Ni Ni, but I prefer TMPB support cast better.
Yang Mi does nothing for me acting wise; she is popular but I never found her acting appealing. However, I do not like Ni Ni here either. She is trying way too hard to be cute...just doesn't look convincing at all IMO.

Waiting for subs is soooo difficult! So glad it's being subbed though.
Considering the budget of these dramas and the international audiences I am really shocked that the production company is not subbing more and faster. I mean, there aren't lots of dramas of these scale and surely using a few translators wouldn't cost much seeing how much money they invested in the CGI, etc.

He’s honestly such a good guy. His characterization is so different from a lot of male lead. The definition…
The director realised after Ye Hua that the audience is tired of watching the same old pretty boyish faces that often can't act. When Mark Chao was cast I remember so many detractors were complaining about it as he wasn't good looking and fresh enough. These actors are sooo charismatic, they literally steal the show. I personally don't watch for the FL.

OMG JingXiu is sooo manly in ep.26, he's actually very responsible for his people! I also kinda feel how JC feels…
That's exactly what I thought watching it but you said it beautifully. It must be heart warming for him.

I honestly forgot about her role in UL. It was indeed a totally different character. But I just don't like her acting here, just too bubbly/bright. Maybe the direction is bad...don't know.

Yess! I can't really describe it but I actually like the chemistry between the leads. Everytime Jiu Chen smiles…
Just like in TMOPB I adore the ML and find the FL so underwhelming. The director seems to have a thing for manly actors who aren't "idol" famous. It worked wonders with Ye Hua so I am glad they don't stick to pretty boys. Don't know about you but I am disappointed in Ni Ni. She is trying way too hard to act younger (the voice they chose is way too childish for her) and cute. Thank god for Jiu Chen's character.

Ok, fair enough but arent you bothered by his fake eyelashes?? I really can't take him seriously when he is trying to romance her.

I don't understand the negative reactions either. What I noticed is those people either like the series because…
Let's be real, there have been better produced and directed dramas than TMOPB since last year but I am pretty sure what drew people to it is Mark Chao's acting and the character Ye Hua. I think we can all agree that he is one of the best male leads in wuxia dramas. Same applies for General and I. Everything and everyone else was good but not superb.

I don't understand why are Chinese dramas not subbed much quicker (compared to Korean ones). There are soooo many English speaking Chinese people and those who do it privately seem to focus on modern dramas or old dramas that are already subbed (which is stupid IMO). I wish I could speak Mandarin...sigh

there is a subbed version on youtube
Please look for it yourself. As soon as a link is posted they close down the channel. It has happened so many times...

OK, I can't be the only one who is DEEPLY disappointed about this drama?!! These are not spoilers but this is a little rant! I would still recommend people give it a try as the ratings seem to indicate that lots of people disagree with my opinion.

I was so hyped and it could have been a super bop like The Eternal Love and its Walmart version, Unique Lady. Firstly, what's up with the fake eyelashes Qiu Yue is wearing. NO, NO, NO!I am sick and tired of Chinese dramas forcing an androgynous look upon all the seemingly negative or anti-hero characters. His eye makeup is so distracting and that's a shame as this actor/character is the saving grace of this drama IMO. They tried to create another Gong Zi (Bloody Romance - one of my top 3 favourite anti-heros!) but the actor lacks charisma and the darkness to ace it. The character that really upsets me is Xiao Bai. He literally looks like a 17 year old boy trying to act grown up. He has zero chemistry with the FL and has two expressions throughout the drama. I know the actor is young but I wish they would balance things out and cast older actors as leads too.
The FL is ok but she plays the same character in all her dramas - I wish she would stop acting bubbly and smiling brightly ALL THE TIME. I would believe it if someone told me that she is getting a commission every time she shows her teeth.

The romance is non existent (up until the 20th episode - expect for a few unrequited teenage kisses) so this a drama for those who are patient, love slow romance, love triangle, a passive/pure/young ML, a very bubbly FL who smiles and flirts a lot.

i' m looking for obsessive, overbearing love. I love COLD Hearted guy role who fall in love in the end, howefer…
Too late to say I love you is perfect for you then! It is sometimes shocking but that's because the male lead loves the girl way too much. One of the best (if not the best) chemistry I've seen since watching the English Patient. Wallace is phenomenal as the intense lover.

If you want to watch a very intense romance with incredible chemistry, this is totally for you. There are moments that will make you say WTF or be frustrating but if you are not looking for logic and pragmatism but pure romance. PERFECT.
Wallace is my favourite C actor. He excels at these roles.

Title Lie to Me
Really, really surprised at the low rating compared to other dramas on here that are not as good in the same genre. This is the epitome of a perfect rom com. If you expect a deep, meaningful drama this is clearly not the right one, but if you are a sucker for romance. comedy, with a twist of drama and a happy ending, this is perfect. Yes, it gets a bit draggy towards the end, but the first half totally makes up for it. It is really funny but still manages to give you the feels. sooo much feels because the lead couple has proper chemistry. Not teenage chemistry, but real love and sexual chemistry that is palpable. With a fantastic kissing scene (my top 3 kissing scene). Similar feel to Marriage, not dating (which I loved).

Alas, this is not so good as Startling by Each Step (of the same writer)- worse pacing, plotting, production etc.…
I agree and, personally, I feel that the main issue is Cecilia's acting. She is soooo stiff, both in the way she carries herself and the way she emotes. She is never convincing no matter who she loves. There is something very cold and distant (and posh, which contradicts her "feral" origins) about her but I don't think this is how the character was written. She is exactly the same in Sound of the desert so I really think it is the way she acts. All the other actors did a good job so that's a shame Chinese actresses don't up their game and focus too much on looking good.

Gosh, the romance is sloooooooooooooow in this one. Not sure it should be put under the Romance genre. Hope it picks up soon as the drama's sub plots are not gripping enough to keep me entertained.

I mean, I think it's just personal preference. Jennifer Lawrence generated HUGE hype in the states a few years…
I also think that the reason why people loved him so much is because he is not the typical pretty boy at all and wasn't popular like idol actors so the audience focused on his acting only. And since he is an excellent actor we all bought into Ye Hua.
