But dramas these days change endings a lot I’ve noticed. They tweaked the book quite a bit so maybe there is some hope?

Got your point but I wish I could DEMAND a happy ending. I don’t mind a SE when the romance is secondary or if the couple’s chemistry is not amazing but if it is focused on the romance and redemption then I feel a HE is best. I am already shipping them way too hard!!

I am going to live in a delusional state until the end. A lot of dramas now change the original ending to appeal to the audience or create an alternative one. They are showing the ML in a very different light from the book so maybe there is hope!

That’s so interesting. I knew it reminded me so much of untouchable lovers. It is really obvious but here the amnesia is done better and the acting is much better.

Is everyone convinced that the ending will follow the book? Maybe I am delusional but I feel like the writers are purposely building a case for the ML. He is not as near as crazy and dark as is in the book. He is actually likeable despite what he did and they are working hard to justify his actions. Can we hope for a happy ending so you reckon??!!

Not the only one, I cannot stand her. She is somehow portrayed as a victim but all her bad decisions led to the disasters. She chose to love a womaniser while flirting with the water god and changing her mind too late. And then she ruined her daughter´s life just because of her heartbreak. WTF

That´s very weird that you didnt like this one. In my opinion the chemistry and ending is sooo much better here...

The drama is top notch on all front. I would be really surprised if you dont like it as I am super picky myself.

Fantastic drama. this is what I would call an almost perfect drama. It has everything: sweet and intense romance, great character development, good plot, great cinematography, cgi and fight scenes, funny comedy, lots of drama and angst, beautiful ending, great ost...
By far my new favourite drama. My only slight complain is the kisses...I wished the two actors were more passionate when it came to showing their love. But the chemistry was so good that I overlooked it.

People who rated this drama so highly or said it is the best are MAD.
I really tried hard to like it as I like the main actors but this is so ridiculously bad an overrated.
- Worst CGI and cinematography of all the dramas Ive watched. Everything, including make-up and costumes looks fake and cheap.
- Overall the acting is over dramatic and cringe. EVERYONE except from Andy Zhang is over the top.
- Ridiculous storyline. Basically a girl being obsessed with her teacher and putting the whole world into chaos and danger because of her love. It is not even a moving love story that would justify so much stupidity. She is literally obsessed and her repeating "teacher" every 5 min drove me crazy.
Such a waste of my time!

Why does he need to die? If anyone should have died it should have been one of the bad guys, not him. I think he suffered enough and went though redemption to make up for what he did.

It must be one of the most boring dramas ever and even the romance is dull. The FL is way too perfect and naive and the ML is either stiff like a grandpa or act like a jealous teenager.
No chemistry, feels or build up.

Wallace Chung was made for this role and carries it on his shoulders. He is so charismatic, sexy and emotes so well. Worth watching just because of him. He literally saved the drama from being a total disaster as Angelabay just spoils it. She is beyond terrible. The book is absolutely fantastic guys so definitely read it!

How about you watch a romcom if you want to see the lead smile. It is quite clear that this is a heavy melodrama, can´t you read?
