I'M LOVING THIS DRAMA IT'S MY CURRENT OBSESSION AND I HAVE SEEN SITR THEY DON'T COMPARE I DIDN'T EVEN LIKE THAT…
I didn't like SITR either, but off of a first impression they do look kinda similar (hell they're even written & directed by the same duo!). What do you like so much about this??
Something in the Rain was my first drama and I also hated how they handle the drama after the 10th episode. The…
That's the thing that got me with Something in the Rain, I liked it UNTIL the 10th episode then it was just downhill from there! >.<
Now maybe I asked this question too soon since only 10 episodes have aired thus far, but I know how popular this show is and that's made me really intrigued! I'll probably take your advice about watching the first 2 episodes, otherwise just to be on the safe side wait until it's complete to get the full picture...
BTW you mentioned that this is by far your favorite drama this year, can you share why??
For anyone that's currently watching or even dropped it by now what are your thoughts??? (it's fine if you include a spoiler)
Also if you've seen "Something in the Rain" how does it compare? Because I was getting major SITR 2.0 vibes from this... if that's the case I don't want to go through that again!
According to this June 19, 2019 article Song Hye-kyo is 'in talks'.https://www.soompi.com/article/1333295wpp/my-love-from-the-star-pd-to-direct-new-drama-song-hye-kyo-and-joo-ji-hoon-are-in-talks-for
Funny enough I actually read that same article yesterday lol, but either way 'in talks' is better than nothing!!
Is this real has Song Hye Kyo officially signed on to this?!? I genuinely thought it would take another 2 years before she'd be in another drama again after Encounter!!
For the love of all things holy unless you REALLY love real estate give this drama a skip! Let me just say that…
Yes the leads do end up together but you don't see any romance until episode 44 where they FINALLY kiss. Sure you can tell that Deng Lun's character had a one-sided crush on the FL earlier on in the drama, but it isn't until the last 4 episodes that they actually get together. On the other hand the FL has a crush on the 2nd ML from the beginning of the drama, and even dates him for about 10-15 episodes... just to put those two things into perspective.
For the love of all things holy unless you REALLY love real estate give this drama a skip! Let me just say that this drama isn't awful, but if you are watching because you were excited for this pairing (Deng Lun & Angelababy) you're bound to be disappointed...
I think it is not racist for being not able differentiate kdramas actors. I also take some time to differentiate…
Oh I totally agree that it's not racist with regards to not being able to differentiate between idol members/actors at first glance (I get them mixed up too), but there's one specific person that comes to mind in my inner circle that says "that they all look the same" in a demeaning/snarky way not in a harmless confused manner. I hope that clarifies things, some people are just close-minded which is a shame but oh well. :)
You did an excellent job with this article it was informative without giving everything away. This was already on my PTW list, and now I'm gonna go and watch the first episode, thanks! :)
OMG I relate to this article so much, I constantly get teased about watching Asian Dramas by my family & friends! The main "critique" that my friends give is either that the Male Actors look like women/effeminate OR that they all look the same.... racist. Long story short I just stopped talking about Dramas around them. THANK GOD for MDL, where I can find my fellow Asian Drama lovers! :)
You know what really needs a season 2... Signal!! I even assumed there would be one considering how they ended it, but it's been 3 years now and I'm not any closer to gaining closure. >.<
In all honesty I put this drama in my "Not Interested" list, not because it isn't good I mean the last 2 episodes made me teary-eyed, but because it isn't at all what you think you're signing on for. Without actually spoiling it let me just say that if you wanted to watch this because of the synopsis just know you'll feel bamboozled. This drama is NOT AT ALL what it sounds like in the description above. Now as for whether it's better or worse... that's just a matter of opinion.

Ughhhhhh I know right?!? I mean the lawyer did report the eye doctor to the medical board, therefore even though it wasn't shown it's safe to assume he'll lose his license. Having said that though the real instigator behind all of this was the freaking secretary, and the fact that she didn't face any form of repercussion for her crimes other than being sent away for a while only to be welcome back with open arms, made me change my final rating for this drama. But for me I found issue more so with the direction in which the story followed, rather than any problem with the acting of the actors.

I hated how the secretary was forgiven in the end, even though she was the reason that the FL is blind! That def. affected my rating for this drama, I spent 15 eps. hating her, but now that it's the finale she forgiven?!?! UGH.
Honestly I thought I would enjoy this a lot more then I did, the first episode was amazing I mean so much happened, which made me excited to see where the story was heading, but quite frankly this drama lost a lot of steam as it continued on. Even though this is a "Melodrama" with plenty of emotional scenes, I didn't find myself affected meaning I wasn't immersed in the story. The leads Song Hye Kyo and Jo In Sung are among my favorite actors and seeing them doing a Romantic-Melodrama together build up my expectations tremendously, but unfortunately the end results didn't live up to them. Long story short I didn't hate it, if I did I wouldn't have completed it, but I def. wouldn't Re-Watch. Final Rating: 7.5/10
This is definitely a heavy drama that you might want to watch slowly so you don't use up a whole tissue box .…
Hi there hahaha glad that I can help! It’s been slightly more than a month since I’ve seen this drama, but I still can’t get over it! All jokes aside it’s TRUELY a “hate to love” story like bone deep on the ML’s part. Nevertheless it was an incredible drama, being in a better mood before checking it out sounds like a plan haha feel free to message me if u want to rant while watching, some of the scenes def. require letting off some steam. xD

Gaaaaah I'm so excited so see my girl Park Bo Young again!!
Long story short I just stopped talking about Dramas around them.
