Ladies and Gentlemen Subway has once again made it's legendary appearance in a Korean Drama!! xD All jokes aside though the Product Placement in this episode was not subtle at all lmao!
Guys it took me almost 3 hours to watch this movie because of the amount of times I had to take a break to prevent flooding my house in tears!! 10/10 don't forget some tissues! <3
I literally just binge-watched the first 10 episodes straight, and here are my thoughts thus far. Honestly Ep 1-3 were INCREDIBLE, I'm talking a 10/10 if only the drama would've continued on that way.... *sighs* I started contemplating dropping it after I saw that nightmare of a kiss in Ep. 6, because in my personal opinion the leads have rather abysmal chemistry. I'm not crazy picky I promise, but there really wasn't anything that had me curious enough to want to watch this drama to completion. There wasn't a single character that I found myself HATING while watching the show, nor was there a character that I LOVED and was rooting for. *shrugs* Will probably drop... Not the worst KDrama in the world but not anything that memorable either. My Rating: 5/10, solely for the cast not the plot.
It's possible!..ha ha..according to the synopsis, she is a beautiful prosecution lawyer, but then got swapped…
One can only hope! Park Bo Young dramas don't tend to disappoint sooooo *deep sighs* hot guy or otherwise; I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt! >.<
I have the same rule .Just rewatch ! It is that good..
100% agreed, seriously it's amazing so far!! That rule was put in place for me after I completely forgot the plot of drama that was airing at the time lol! xD An Added bonus for me is I love both main actors , so I have ZERO issue with rewatching once I'm done! :)
I'm already experiencing withdrawal symptoms while waiting for next weeks episodes, dang it I never watch shows until they're complete! WHY WHY WHY did I choose such an amazing show to break my rule on?!?!
This is one of those moments where I hope the person playing the "less attractive guy" is still hot! xD All jokes aside though I'd watch this anyways for my girl Park Bo Young! <3
Can I just say how excited I am since this is FINALLY airing?!?!?! The 1st episode was STUNNING, honestly I was prepared to power through this for Park Bo Gum even if it wasn't all that, but I'm being 100% serious when I say that I enjoyed every SECOND of the first episode!!! :)
In my opinion this doesn't compare to the original Korean version. That one had AMAZING chemistry between the leads, a spunky Kim Seul Gi as the Ghost, and believable villain. Although the Thai Version pretty much copies the original from beginning to end, for me it always felt like something was missing. The leads were okay, the chemistry was okay, and honestly in my personal opinon the ghost was pretty annoying this time around. All in all it was a 7.5/10 for me. Won't rewatch, but don't regret checking out.
After several MONTHS I finally managed to complete this drama! I'm typically a finish a drama in a few days type…
An added bonus which I forgot to mention is that this drama had plenty of kiss scenes, which I personally prefer to the standard 2 that we sometimes get in KDramas!
After several MONTHS I finally managed to complete this drama! I'm typically a finish a drama in a few days type of person, so that in itself is already something worth noting... Some Pros: Chemistry between the leads, Older Woman/Younger Man (personal preference), and even though the plot seems somewhat simple you find yourself immersed in the drama. Some Cons: It's a slow drama personally I watched it sped up by at least 1.30x speed, the FL family will INFURIATE you (trust me that's why I put it on hold for a while), and the ending... underwhelming to say the least. My final thoughts I don't regret watching this drama, but it's def. not one I'd rewatch. 6/10
We’re just tired of the Samar old plot old woman doesn’t believe in love then meets young man who made her…
A lot of people found issue with the fact that Park Bo Gum is friends/labelmates with Song Hye Kyo's husband, which although I get both parties already knew this when they signed onto this drama. That's the bit that I referred to as "idiotic" because at the end of the day this is their JOB it's not personal. Now as for the plot well... we'll have to wait for the drama to air before officially judging it as the "same old same old". I've made the mistake of writing off a drama's in the past because of their "underwhelming" or "overused" story-lines/synopsis's, and almost missed out on some personal favorites! Besides... I don't think anyone can turn down Park Bo Gum Song Hye Kyo never stood a chance cougar or otherwise lmao! xD
I have a love/hate relationship with the American version of this show, and that prompted me to give the original Korean version a try! I dropped this at episode 13, although I like pretty much EVERY actor in this drama it just didn't hold my attention. At ep. 8 I could tell I was starting to dislike this show, but I stuck around for another 4 episodes, and even though I watched them on 1.50x speed I couldn't stomach the thought of wasting any more time on this show. I gave it a 4/10 and that's only because of the cast, and also because none of them are doing a bad job at portraying their characters... I just don't like the show/story!
Wooooooow kudos to you for putting in both positive & negative for the same trait with actual drama examples!!! Overall this was a lovely read, which was both well thought out and informative. :)
Honestly I love love love both Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo, and I'm also a fan of Older Woman/Younger Man shows! I really think it's idiotic that some fans have been making this personal both people are ACTORS, this is literally their job!!! Honestly this controversy reminds me of the whole Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort drama when they were cast as the main couple in The Fault in our Stars, while also playing siblings just a few months prior in Divergent. IDK about you guys, but I'll definitely be giving this show a chance, before saying that the age gap makes it too "unbelievable", or that it's gonna be awkward because of Joong Ki and Bo Gum's relationship as label-mates... >.<
Honestly dramas like this are the reason why I wait until a show has finished airing before I decide whether or not to watch it. Really glad I saved myself the heartbreak. Having said that though, I'm hoping for a speedy recovery from Kim Jung Hyun!
I really enjoyed your article! Honestly I wouldn't have minded at all if you had gave a spoiler warning in the beginning, and then given some drama examples pertaining to the things you hate. Lol I would very much appreciate cropping down on dramas that I'd start only to drop from one (or more UGH) of the things you mentioned above, except for evil 2nd female lead, because they tend to get what's coming to them by the time the drama ends. If I was to be really honest if an actress can make me hate her character to point of gnashing my teeth in frustration I'd actually love that, because I feel like a solid obstacle is pivotal to making the final couple ending up together that much more special! I'm talking about you Su Jin!!!
All jokes aside though the Product Placement in this episode was not subtle at all lmao!
Their character guys, don't freak out obviously Song Hye Kyo unnie is married! :)
