Turns out, there's really no place like home

So much to look forward to! I was dying to watch Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy, but 80 episodes? I don't know If I'll be able to take it. Ode to Joy 2 is a must! I would've been not too optimistic about Nirvana in Fire 2 since it ended to perfectly, but the look they're taking at it is intriguing. Prince Yu was an intriguing character with so many complicated issues despite his evilness, so it's interesting to see how his son will turn out and how being Yu's son will affect him. I hope he doesn't think of revenge.

When it comes to acting, to action, it was all great and impressive. When it comes to story, there were too many flaws and it was just frustrating to watch. By the end of it the viewer also doesn't see the point of rooting for them to bring him to headquarters.

Also the only thing those people had s police is their pride, no actual useful skill. Well except for Nagayama Kento's character ;)

Engaging story, great acting. Not much action but the little we see it awesome.

Great deeper message about true happiness and luck in life. "Twilight" Seibei might've looked miserable, but he truly knew how to appreciate the little things in life. He knew how to be happy and enjoy the moment.

Good movie with excellent acting. Nakai Kiichi was just amazing! Direction-wise though the story just lost me some moments. As in I got mixed up with the events. It wasn't easy to follow. It made me want to go back to watching the drama Shinsengumi.

One thing I cannot understand, were they serious in calling Nakatani Miki ugly?

I was never in awe with this drama like most, but I did appreciate the beginning a lot. The drama has its strong…
In the first half yes, but then the "explanation" felt so forced. I appreciate how Chul was trying to explore and find the logic, but the drama itself did not develop a specific logic as to how its world works. In any case that's the way I see it.

I was never in awe with this drama like most, but I did appreciate the beginning a lot. The drama has its strong point, but later in the 2nd half, the writing proved to be as shallow as the popular comic book in the drama. A series of tropes added together without much cohesiveness. There's no deeper digging as to why all those things happen, what't the exact force behind it. The romance was the worst part. I never understood what made Chul love Yeon Joo, and for me Yeon Joo was just a delusional girl. She might be selfish but that's not the issue. She's just a trivial person who's thinking doesn't go beyond "I want to be with the one I love".

I appreciate the idea, I loved scenes with Kim Eui Seong, his character was the most awesome and his acting was the best. Acting wise I was fine with all, it's just that most of the characters weren't ever developed. The ending... I hated it.

TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU the romance here was just badly handled. My favourite scenes were that of Kang Chul and her father. When those two are at it, it's like the push each other's boundaries.

For the most part, there was barely any dialog, just silence and elegance, which personifies Rikyu's perfectly. Seeing his life unfolds as the many events of that period that I know of takes place, with dim colours really brings this calm feeling with it.

Nakatani Miki is great as usual. That woman is all class, so much that I couldn't stand seeing her in a role that didn't feel dignifying to her. In those types of roles, she effortlessly stirs your emotion.

about 3/4 in the movie I was going to give it a 9 at least, but then when they brought up the whole love story, it totally changed the tone of the movie, and somehow cheapened the resolve we saw earlier. I don't know if there is any truth to that story, but if there wasn't, I wish they would've written it off!

I leave it with this badass quote:

"This room is too small to cut your hear"
"Then sit down and watch"

It was a nice breezy watch, a little bitter sweet, but somehow lacking. I think it would've benefitted from a longer running and expanded further into different characters surrounding Miharu and the effects of her power. As for the romance, I just didn't feel it, specially from the leading girl's side. It just happened too fast.

Watching around episode 90 now. I like how asadoras depict male characters (and female also) as human and flawed…
As mad as I was at Yutaro, I came to appreciate it more as the story went on. True that was pretty realistic ;)

As I mentioned before there's nothing new in this drama, extremely cheesy and they even try. Still enjoyable. Just looking at Takenouchi's face makes it worth it. Matsuyuki Yasuko was likeable. First time seeng Kaku Kento, he's pretty cute and knows how to be silly. Ikusaburo Yamazaki was a great highlight as Reddo.

Tetta Sugimoto's character was disappointing to the end. I only liked him in episode 8. The rest is average.

I appreciate the little they addressed about divorcing, the reasons and the effect of those involved.

I picked this article to edit because I was curious about them. You have many dramas here you got me curious about. It was a great read! Since I went through it at night, I totally had a dream of them that night XD

Review Going My Home
I totally agree with you about this drama. On a whole enjoyable, but it takes time to connect the stories. I watched while it was airing (while watching other stuff) so it was even harder for me to connect all and keep focus. That being said you don't ever feel that it's draggy since the feel of the drama itself is great as if you're a part of it.

This drama left me feeling kind of weird. I liked everyone except the lead actor. LOL. he sucked!! every one else…
I always thought Sawamura Ikki would've been a perfect fit for the role.

The movie was entertaining enough, but the story just didn't make much sense. Tragic scenes were more laughable than tragic. Also Higashide Masahiro gets first billing but I felt Kiritani Kenta and Emoto Tasuku are the ones leading the movie. Also the only one who makes useful shots was the girl in the group (though the entire existence of her character doesn't make much sense. Yakuza were felt laughable as well. Seiji was definitely too soft to be one.

What I enjoyed here is the camaraderie between the four (five?) like Seiji said, they're all supposed to be enemies :P
