I'm linking the characters, but the story itself is way too cliché :P I can get over it but I do think some minor changes would've done wonders..

The flower boy franchise, Answer me 1997, Monstar (lengthy but only 12 episodes), Soulmate. Those are the korean ones that come to mind ;)

Itazura Na Kiss second season is awesome news :D except I did hope they'd postpone it another year so the actrice will be a bit olders still 18 isn't that much different from 18 but she's so cute I love her!!

Well those are the "newer" ones I've seen. Have you heard of "Take Five"? I think this one is pretty entertaining if you don't over think it :P of & the remake of "Itazura Na Kiss - Love in Tokyo" really enjoyed that one!! right now I haven't been watching too many japanese doramas, I don't find anything interesting:( I've been marathoning Answer me 1997 (been on my PTW for a year) soo good!! & went back being a kid enjoying Tokusatsu :P

If you'd watch old ones, for comedy there's "Kisarazu Cat's Eye" & "Manhattan Love Story"
which both are pretty hilarious in different ways but pretty old :P. "Unubore Deka" is also funny,
& for Romance there's "Utahime" which one of the doramas that remain memorable for me.
I love giving recs :P

I'm a full fledged adult (atleast physically :P) but really enjoying this show!! It sure is darker than other shows aimed at children (like Super Sentai/Power Rangers for example) Loving it up to now!!

handkerchiefs are also used when the girl is crying and the guy is being sweat to her (for the first time!) and gives her a handkerchief to wipe her tears away.

Mine too!! Cheezy it is but with lotsa heart it felt honest.

Even if the story doesn't go the way I'd want to, or the acting isn't that great, they always have something that is either entertaining, or an interesting mystery to it, or done in a creative way. Its also easier to relate to since it involves hard working middle class citizens unlike Korean and Taiwan who make me feel like their countries population is made up of the richest rich and the poorest of the poor.

I think they left that option open. But the main story has come to a close (in a somewhat cheezy way :P). I wouldn't mind a second season, it didn't reinvent anything but it sure is a fun show to watch ;)

I think this is something that will be impossible to find online.. let alone subbed :(

I know still waiting for Saikou No Rikon's last 2 episodes :( Same for the drama I watched a few years ago (Suzuki Sensei) I've given up on the last 3 unsubbed episodes :P
I am very thankful for the job the subbers did up to now and can only hope that unfinished dramas will subbed eventually ;)

Agreed but also because most dramas r moniseries that have a certain number of epidodes with a certain story to tell from beginnings to end. Well atleast thats what i dont like about US shows where the story goes on & on until its cancelled (ends abruptly) or the story gets so long it stops making sense (atleast to me)

I've been telling myself I need TO-WATCH-IT!! Need to manage my time more :P

Odagiri Joe!!! Love him!! I've seen a bunch of his shows, takes on weird characters :P I wanted to do the same but didn't find all his movies subbed :(

Thx for accepting my friend request!! Your profile is interesting to read ;) My taste is opposite to yours I love to watch thriller & crime. I also like the comedy that doesnt take itself seriously. But like you I end up liking dramas that aren't popular while the famous ones don't interest me that much. I think you'd agree that ratings don't tell AT ALL if a drama is good or not :P

Just finished it right now :P though i knew its been subbed its been almost a week! yup pretty good with a fitting ending ;)
