anyone els think that this is the worest version of them all !!! this version is close to the chineas one but…
Thai version isn't like the Chinese one at all. Totally different vibes. It's more like a grittier version of the Japanese drama. I'm enjoying the Thai interpretation more, but you're entitled to your opinions.
Well, what's going to happen in the next ep happens in every version. But the consequences thing is not given…
*In the original, Junpei (Talay) wants revenge on Tsukasa (Thyme) for almost killing his friend. Manga often points out how animalistic and violent Tsukasa was during middle school. *Meteor Garden and MG2018 are basically the same as the original. Korean version too, but here they change it to Junpei wanting revenge for his brother whom we see in the first ep. *Japanese version deviates the most. They change it to Sakurako (Hana) kidnapping Tsukushi (Gorya) instead. Strangely, in the sequel, Junpei is introduced and kidnaps Tsukushi but Tsukasa's sister saves her this time. *Anyway, my main point that none of this really has anything to do with the red card. Thai version has decided to focus in on it instead of ignoring it like the original and other versions. And there's even an "anti-F4" group even of just some random guys who hate Tsukasa/Jun-pyo/Si for beating them up.
Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think we ever got to see the consequences of gun pyo and ming zi actions…
Well, what's going to happen in the next ep happens in every version. But the consequences thing is not given as much emphasis. This version has chosen to focus on the red card and it's effects on others. I'll put the rest under a spoiler.
I don't really think the author was that influenced by that poll tbh. In an interview, she described Tsukasa's…
Yes I agree that she intended on making Rui the main love interest at first. This is obvious by volumes 1-2 and also why everyone cries about SLS. But by volumes 3-4, you can tell she's leaning towards Tsukasa.
I've been thinking about this version a lot lately because I'm currently watching the Thai version. Honestly, besides being adapted from the same source material, the two versions seem so different. MG is slow-paced while Thai is fast. MG glosses over all the bullying (booo Chinese censors) while Thai dials it up to eleven. MG has more of a light, fluffy vibe most of the time while Thai focuses heavily on the angst. They have two things in common though: I love both casts and the OSTs are both great.
Referring to Fea's post below informing us about the manga writer changed the plot because of the readers' poll:Whoa,…
I don't really think the author was that influenced by that poll tbh. In an interview, she described Tsukasa's character overpowering when she was writing. I think that was the real reason she went in that direction. Also the very last poll shows Rui in first place. So the readers were very flip-floppy.
Enjoyed the first two eps. I love all of the characters so far. I'm looking forward to seeing Namtan too. Imo I didn't perceive anything transphobic, but I'm also not an expert on it or anything lol. Basically, I would advise to not take the show too seriously. It's mostly a crazy comedy. Look at Pingpong's double personality character for instance lol.
I'm going to on hold watching this, tell me guys if there is a plethora of transphobic remarks and jokes in this…
There was a couple of remarks in the first ep, but with context I didn't think it was hateful. You should watch the first half of the first ep to see if it bothers you.
Probably not for a while. They haven't started filming yet and Fah is currently in America to finish up college.
I’m not sure about budget… I suppose a project like this might have a hard time getting sponsors.🤔
Also, I just saw on ‘P.S. I Hate You’ page, another project of Fah’s, that pre-production is starting in April. That’s around the time I think Fah said she was returning. So I think ‘The Warp Effect’ will come out later in the year.
I'm not sure which family we're supposed to root for after the flashback in the last episode. Grandma B is evil for what she did to other grandma. But... Ornsalao is a terrible mother and I don't care to see her win this revenge. Tawan is equally terrible. Why is she always hitting Non for what Ai does? I almost cried about the cake T_T
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing Korn x Mintra relationship develop. I'm not opposed to age-gap relationships, but I don't really like the dynamic between Korn x Tawan. I also like Ai x Wech, but Ai clearly doesn't understand the real world. She should've made sure that she could graduate high school before saying they should leave home.
Last thoughts, Rut is a scumbag for doing that to Cheewin. The good-for-nothing is only good at separating people from their money. I hope Nam wasn't in on it :(
Outside of the BL world seems like Off gets only gets second main leads. I think he's only been lead in one m/f…
Off will be the main male lead of Midnight Hotel with Janhae! I'm looking forward to that :) And Off doesn't have any BL series this year so maybe GMMTV is changing the direction they're going with him.
I'm most looking forward to MJ's segment in the next ep. I liked that they added this sort-of side story since it reminds me of how manga authors will do one-shots with their side characters. It's also nice to get some completely new material as most of us are already familiar with the story.
Honestly in prev adaptation it makes sense that lita doesnt know, but now? In the world where everyone use social…
In every version Lita character knows that something happened with ML and FL. Only I this version Gorya says ‘friends’. But you have a point, I think Lita would’ve seen something about Gorya on social media.

Anyway, Off doesn’t have any upcoming BLs.
