I know a lot of people are disappointed they removed the BL part. In my case, as long as they don't make it into a straight romance while making strong bromance I don't care.
Most of the time I prefer bromance over BL anyway. Mainly because the stories are more interesting in none focused romance.
Liked the novel and the anime, the drama was good too (who doesn't like a charismatic op gamer on the loose?)…
I have some questions about the novel and donghua : is there any romance or, like the series, there is none? If there is, is it just some hints, slight or full on romance?
Also, do you know any Esport series without any romance (not even some chemistry/hint of a potential love)?
There are many melons are floating around and honestly none of them are reliable. Iqiya is not stupid to produce…
And it's even worse for the people working in entertainment : to invest so much money in a series or a movie & not being able to release it at the end!!
This show is literally all i look for in TV: Chill, comedy, slice-of-life, youth dramas with a lot of bromance…
Thanks to your comment I only had to suffer through 5 episodes of terrible subtitles instead of all 30 episodes. I'm glad I checked this comment section before the 6th episode. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️
Even better, it gave me the idea to check another series(Desire catcher) with the same problem (because MangoTV ) on Viki and the subtitles are good. So double thanks!!!!!!!!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My question is,does it have bl?it has LGBTQ tag,I will watch it if this has bl, underlying bl is ok too
Well the guy's soul who's in the girl's body fall in love with the king. Also the king falls in love with the soul since before the switch he didn't love the queen. So I see it as underlying BL
I have watched so many BL since 2018, but this is the absolute best I ever watched. I don't think anything will…
Yes it is. At the end of the season the guy in the past is reincarnated, with all his memories and he meets the time traveler. That's what we see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJWbtgUKtgU
However this part happens after season 2 in the books and I don't know if we'll get it on screen.

The special episode isn't related to the series. It's a different story, not a sequel to the series. However there is a season 2 in the novel and an eventual happy ending since Yai is reincarnated & will remember his past lives. I just don't know if we'll get a season 2 for the series.
I really like this drama. But this was my second rewatch and I still absolutely hate the ending. Jang Bong Hwan…
I think this had potential to be queer (Jang Bong Hwan being bi) but they "ruined" it by changing few things like making the queen stay in her body.
In the original story they completely switched body, meaning the queen's soul left her body & the guy fell in love with the king...well the endings (had 3 different ending) were still sad.
Joon Seok is the definition of "monster are made, not born". Between his mother and his father (especially his father), he's a total mess. I'm glad he had a chance to turn back before it was too late. His mom finally woke up and stood up to her monster of a husband (who turned like that first because of his own father...what a beautiful legacy😒).
Also some people, including his Sun Ho and Sun Ho's family, reached out to him, showed him kindness and maybe forgiveness. But, most importantly, I'm glad he showed true remorse before it was too late for him.
On another note, I feel like, because of that incident, Dong Hee and Dong Soo gained parents' figures🤭
Anyways I loved this story. The actors did a wonderful job.
They should still add a "Slight romance" tag or something like that. When I'm in the mood for 0 romance between the leads I don't want to waste my time in the comments section to find out.
Between The devil judge and Beyond evil, 2021 was a great year for bromance lovers. Wish kdrama give us more series like that...and maybe see the actors in other series?🤭
This was made in Korea, not China, and at the time it was made, there had already been a number of feature films…
"rEaL bL"🙄 What makes a BL real isn't the kissing or the p*rn scenes but the feeling that are which are transmitted to viewers using an intense look or the characters' actions. You see it by feeling it. I wish we get more BL like that.

However I can't say which one is better because I didn't watch Mr.Queen. I just know what I didn't like & liked in this series.
I also want to believe they're alive but it's unlikely because I see it as a (ghost)child's optimist's POV who doesn't know they're dead.
Anyways I love this movie's writing. It's very interesting.

P.S: The analogy with Laputa made me cry
