Another update for you guys on this drama. I'll copy and paste the info below. (Although I'm pretty sure no one else is paying attention to this drama anymore at this point, but whatever, lol.)
'10 episodes is all there is to it. The Japanese remake meant to feature only the first half of the original anyway. I won't be surprised if there'll be news of a S2 though since it's very popular. But as of right now, nothing has been decided yet.'
'If ever there was ((she's referencing whether there were plans for a season 2)), they didn't share it with the public (as far as I know). They're probably holding off on announcing it given what's going on. Plus, it's still airing on Fuji TV.'
'If it's any consolation, it was originally exclusive to FOD (and Youku for China), but because it was always trending during its run, FujiTV decided to air it as well - albeit, an edited version. So a S2 is most likely to happen. And to be fair, FOD had always introduced the drama as a remake of the first half of the original. Probably, to set clear expectations and at the same time offer viewers something to look forward to. So the confusion is only among us English speaking viewers.'
So it looks like a season 2 is likely, which I'm definitely looking forward to.

Ah, so it makes sense for them not to advertise it on the main part of their site then. By chance, do you know if the version you can find on the illegal sites with subs is the original version that was posted to FOD or the edited version that's airing on FujiTV?

Was there always a plan to have a season 2 then? Cause only filming the first half of the story and leaving the whole thing bizarrely open ended doesn't make much sense. Why would they do that if they weren't going to film the rest as well?
It's not in this list so you might not know anything, but have you possibly heard anything about the Japanese remake of Fated to Love You? Ten episodes are available, but the ending of the tenth ep is only the midway point of the story, and we're all trying to figure out if they meant to air more eps now or there's a second season planned or if the drama was cancelled. https://mydramalist.com/56399-you-are-my-destiny Any answers would be appreciated at this point, lol.
So I've done some digging, and here is what I've dug up.
The lead actress has posted a few pictures from the production on her Instagram within the last two weeks. They're from earlier eps, but it's something at least. https://www.instagram.com/mioritakimoto_official/
Fuji TV's Fuji on Demand service appears to have all of the episodes available if you have a subscription to the service. (Ep 5 appears to be free right now for anyone to watch in case you are interested.) According to my Google translate, ep 10 is called FINAL- Two Decisions, so it's definitely the last episode of at least this arc of the story.
That being said, when I search Fuji's regular site for the drama, there's no information on it. So that's weird.
All of this to say....I don't know what's going on with this drama, lol. My guess is this is just the first half and there will be a second half released at a later date. Hope this helps someone somewhere, lol.
I love her character so much, even though I'm apparently the only one, lol. She's so awkward and weird and goofy…
I like to imagine it was Min Seok tagging along when she shopped for clothes and subtly being like 'Oh, this is cute. You should try this. This would look good,' lol.
To this day, I am still haunted by a particular outfit worn by Gong Hyo Jin's character in the 2011 K-drama The…
That is so funny, lol! I haven't watched that drama in ages, and for some reason, I didn't think the leads had any chemistry, so I didn't enjoy it. I plan on re-watching it at some point to see if I might change my mind, and I look forward to seeing this bizarre blouse, lol.
Oh goodness, it's been years since I watched Goong, so I don't remember what dress you are talking about. Half…
Goong was somewhere in my first 3 or 5 dramas that I ever watched, which is the only reason I finished it, because I hadn't reached the 'I absolutely do not owe it to any drama to finish it if I don't want to' phase of being a drama watcher, lol.
I watched a few eps of it on Youtube a long time ago, back when Dramafever was still around they released an article…
It was officially uploaded on Viki, but they've since removed all of the episodes. I assume the production team asked for them to be removed? The Viki page for it is still there, but who knows why since there's nothing there to watch, lol.
I hated Eun hye’s school uniform in Goong with those bright red sweatpants the most.
I actually love her school wardrobe the best, lol. It showed off her personality really well and was just a lot of fun. Her wardrobe once she moves to the palace is just so weird and obnoxiously formal (while still being indelibly weird), and I hated that.
