Title Hello, Me! Spoiler
I'm very intrigued about the whole time slip in the drama. From what I see, teen Hani's cellphone is the device…
I don't think she doesn't know that adult Bahn Ha Ni is her granddaughter. She's been too aggressive with her so far not to have some idea of who she is. Otherwise, why would she try to beat up a complete stranger when that doesn't appear to be something she generally does? I assumed the difference in treatment is because Adult Ha Ni is the one who caused her son's death, but young Ha Ni hasn't done it yet, and that's why she hates adult Ha Ni but not young Ha Ni. It's a 'this one killed my son' versus 'this one is my favorite' kind of thing. (We also have to remember that Ha Ni's sister remarks at one point that it's unusual for her grandmother to remember any of them.) I could be wrong though. Personally, I hope your theory is wrong, because I think it would kind of ruin the story. I know the death of her father and the way it fundamentally altered her life is extremely heartbreaking to watch, but it's also a very human experience, and going back in time and 'fixing' it would take away the message. Why would Ha Ni need to find redemption and her family learn to forgive if no accident ever happened? I really like that potential message, and I would hate to see it tossed aside. Adult Ha Ni being a 'glitch' would also really cheapen her what she's experienced because of the accident, her trauma and heartbreak, rejection from family members, the self-hatred and fear of living. Because after all, she's not the real Ha Ni so her struggles are not real either. I think Ha Ni deserves better than that. I've actually been wondering the last couple weeks now how all of the time travel stuff is ultimately going to be handled, and no matter how I look at it, there's one fatal problem (aside from what it does to the drama's potential message) with young Ha Ni going back and changing everything. If young Ha Ni goes back to her timeline and changes everything, adult Ha Ni won't meet our male lead when she grows up, because the miserable situation she found herself in due to how she's lived her life because of the accident is also the entire reason why she reconnects with him. If young Ha Ni saves her father, adult Ha Ni won't end up in that situation in the first place thus prompting them to meet. I guess if the writers really want to write it this way, they could add in some particular reason for why he would still meet her. Maybe he's been searching for her since they were young or maybe they are destined to be together and would inevitably find each other in every timeline, but let's be honest. How many dramas take the time to set up these sorts of stories properly and Also ensure they don't leave bizarre loose ends in the last ep like the leads still meeting in the altered timeline even though it doesn't make sense for them too? As much as I enjoy this drama, I don't think it's writers are quite good enough to pull something like what you're suggesting off. I would rather they not try doing anything too ambitious and just let their drama be a redemption story, because I think it's doing a pretty decent job at it so far.

Title Hello, Me!
I wish the aunt's plot just wasn't there. This is the only thing I dislike about this drama. Everything else I…
Yeah, it's pretty bland and annoying and I genuinely don't care about her scenes. She honestly could not exist in the story at all, and that would be fine by me, lol.

Title Hello, Me!
The young Ha Ni's old phone is dead and I think that is the charger for it. I'm guessing she probably needs to…
That's what I'm thinking as well.

My childhooooooooood. I've loved Sailor Moon since High School/Middle School. (I'm old enough now to not remember specifically when I was first introduced to the anime, lol.) I've never seen any of the live-actions, but they've been on my to-watch list for awhile. I've just put off seeking them out because they all look so cheesy, lol.

Whenever I see people asking this question, the answers always seem to be super short and unhelpful. They're all just 'OMG Yes, it was so cuuuuuute' or 'UGH I hated this drama's ending. DON'T WATCH,' and I'm just like 'That doesn't actually answer the question.' It's especially strange to me when it's a drama I've watched, and the person's answer does not match my opinions on the ending. It makes me wonder if we actually watched the same drama, lol.

Yeah, misskmno4 is right. He said he was kidding then immediately took it back, because he realized there was no way he could pull off the lie. It was honestly a rather good way to tie up the love triangle, even if I think the love triangle itself wasn't necessary, lol.

Title Hello, Me!
The first couple episodes, the male lead came across to me as too stereotypical and like he didn't really have a purpose in the story other than to be the love interest for the female lead, but he's really grown on me, especially after ep 5. He still mostly serves as a sweet love interest for the female lead and not much else, but I'm okay with that, cause Ha Ni needs someone who will treat her nice, and he's being so very nice to her. She's been so unhappy for so long. It's time for her to find her happiness again.

Title Hello, Me!
I wasn't feeling this one in ep 1. I found the male lead to be Too tropey for my tastes and the treatment from the female lead's sister and nephew a little beyond the pale and the massive gap between how the female lead was as a kid compared to an adult unbelievable. But then the second half of ep 2 happened, and it changed my opinions. I called the big twist before it happened, but instead of being bothered by it being obvious, I was glad I was right, because it was the best writing choice for the story. Incredibly heartbreaking but ultimately the right writing decision. Ep 3 and 4 have only made me like this show even more. It might be too tropey in some respects for it's subject matter, but the subject matter hits hard, and I respect that.

There's going to continue to be references to a traumatic event and how it affected the female lead and her family.…
I do think it will get better. She's already begun to change and improve due to the influence of her younger self. But yeah, there's still some difficulty ahead for our female lead.

This is, by far, the best hairstyle I've seen on her. It just really compliments her face shape.

There's going to continue to be references to a traumatic event and how it affected the female lead and her family. It's a pretty heavy part of the plot that's definitely not going to go away, so if that's something you're not into, this drama might not be for you.

I wasn't really feeling it while watching ep 1, but then we got to the end of the episode and that ending got me. So I guess I'm adding this to my currently watching list, lol.

Title True Beauty
I don't like the directions they are talking Soo Jin in. I know her background and the toxic environment but that's…
I think her character is going to eventually be redeemed. It's just all that anger and frustration pent up from trying to please her parents, and it had to go somewhere, so she's chosen a target she direct it at and get away with it. I think she'll realize at some point that she's being selfish and unfair.

Title True Beauty
it's a given for a show like this to have its viewers be separated into teams, but I don't understand why some…
The thing with Asian dramas, at least up until more recently, is that the story always telegraphs from the beginning who is supposed to end up with who. It's never a secret. But I think a lot of people don't really understand that that's how dramas have always worked, and they get their hearts set on one character not realizing that that character is clearly not the intended victor (so to speak). So while I understand people experiencing second lead feels, because sometimes you just like the second lead better, I'm still always genuinely surprised when people don't realize that the story has clearly picked a male lead and it's not Your preferred male lead.
