The title is a nope, though. "50 Shades of Grey" has an extremely specific context that isn't properly ported outside the BDSM community. Using it your way, to connote character stretches or playing parts that are outside the actors' usual limits is a misrepresentation, I think. "Click bait", as it were.

I don't know--maybe you're enjoying being trollish. But if not, maybe think more first, then write. Because you're sort of writing like an incel, you know?
I like dramas where the FL learns from a mistake, turns over a new leaf, and sets out on a path to remake/rebuild herself into someone more resilient. This plot sounds like that.
The problem is, show is 120 episodes, and so it'll be at least episode 50 before she makes the course correction. But the first 49 episodes, she's going to be the victim of lies, betrayal, bullying or torture which is going to be tiresome.
But, to pass the censorship they improved his character and his story. And we can see this from the synopsis itself.
Oh, I don't think they love it. It's just that they don't have any choice: show has to be licensed to air, and the Chinese government issues the license.
This is the Cdrama I'm most looking forward to. I just want the show to finish airing by Christmas, because I'm planning to binge watch it during Christmas week for my present.

This show is #5 IN THE US on Amazon Prime. Think about what an achievement for Kdramas that is.
Now all that we need is for the show to finish strong with a good ending, and that will all but guarantee that we'll be getting more shows like it, instead of trucks of doom or stupid breakups in the 12th episode, or random serial killer plots. Wouldn't that be fantastic?
