I haven't watched today episodes but SKCF does get his ass kicked by the girl in the novel but only happens towards the end around the time YWJ is brought back.

Idk about the donghua but SKCF is not a big character in the book. After bride snatching, he barely pops up again.

I only started reading the book from the bride snatching chapter so I don't think know for sure but I don't think they are supposed to be twins. They are just supposed to look very similar. But BDJ tells Yueyao that he can tell them apart from their eyes.

Yups, I watched AGLM. He did look really good but his role was dominated by the FL and his acting was ok but obviously newbie. He seems to improve with each drama. BFTB was not a good role for him bc its a dark character which he didn't bring out well enough. the book fans especially panned it. I didn't think he did great either but I didn't read the book so I was fine with it. If you didn't read the book, its ok to watch.
