I have watched 20 subbed episodes, and 11 raw episodes(...I don't know what they are saying). The pacing is good, but the editing is off sometimes, and the soundtrack music is invasive when the characters are talking.

ZTao and Yang Mi are charismatic on screen. I love to watch Ztao's pretty eyes. I would diagnose Xiao Fei as bipolar, and Tong Wei is passive, reserved (...I deleted "submissive"). ao Fei and Tong Wei. I can't sand the lawyer even though he is handsome perfect,

I can't stand the Chen Xi woman. Her first outfit with the bra cups over her blouse was ridiculous and inappropriate for a business meeting. And the skirts slit up to her thigh.! If women dress like this, in the office, they are advertising something.

Many of the new dramas are on YT, with no subs. The production quality looks high, but without subs, I can't watch them.

Xiao Fei looks like a K-idol who turned into a businessman. His fashions are "trendy, celebrity". At least, his hair does not change colors. I love Tao, btw, and am watching the drama, for him.

I agree with you. It is the only drama that I am watching, and I even started watching the raw episodes. DF is behind by 11 episodes. I don't comprehend the Chinese language, but I watched all 11 episodes,

The drama is really a fashion show. Yang Mi wore about five different winter coats when she went to New York, to meet Mr. Xie. She would have to pack five suitcases with her extensive wardrobe.

I think the physical age gap is minor; two or three years, but the mental age gap is closer to ten years.

I wish that Tao had kept his hair, dark brown or black, and trimmed it. The flying red hair might be a mirror of Xiao Fei's volatility.

I do not recall if they established Xiao Fei's age. If the brother is younger and an executive. the brother should be around 23 (already a university graduate), and Xiao Fei should be 24 to 25. Xiao Fei should be a university graduate, since he went off to China and opened his company. The wealthy Chinese are big on higher education, as a sign of success. Xiao Fei is bipolar in every episode. He blows hot and cold. Very confusing to me, the viewer.

The second leads are the perfect couple, and the paralegal and Chen Xi's friend/employee make a good couple.

The production company probably was spinning the drama as a spinoff, to sell the idea.

I can't understand why this is labeled a sequel. Yang Mi's character has a different name.

That annoyed me every time. The lawyer is a parasite, and she doesn't know that he was colluding with Z.hao Chenxi and Shan Shan and even the step-sister.

I agree with you. I thought that Novoland Castle in the Sky was a quirky drama. Novoland T&E was a grandiose ambition.

I read that another Novoland drama project is scheduled in 2019. I hope that the production team uses the T&E feedback, to improve the drama.

I started out the gate with four stars, but cut it down to 2 stars by the end.

If Novoland makes a 2nd season, they need to go back to the drawing board, and construct a drama effeciently and effectively. They need new writers and production team. The actors were effective with their performances, but they would have to receive quadruple their original salaries, to return.

Three Stooges is the best name for this drama. Nobody was minding the store during the production, and the Director/Cinematographer/Writer got carried away, and the budget followed him closely.

#3 girlfriend was stalking Qiu Dong from Day1. She really wanted that job, and fooled the young assistant into hiring her.

I had a different expectation of the plot, from watching the trailer. I don't know WTF happened toward the end of the drama.

Her decision to leave Qiu Dong did not surprise me.

Did the writer quit, and did a new writer come in, and finish the last five episodes, that were so farfetched?

I could not make sense of the final arc. I felt as if I had entered a parallel dimension. Prior to the Yan Feng/Chen Xiang story, the plot was plausible.
