Everything else was all about Ritsu and Masumi in the present or in the past, and you go on and on whining about the show allegedly concentrating on the side characters, which is objectively not true. Meguru and Yuma had important roles also to get to know more about the main leads' backgrounds as well as the outcome of the plot, but no wonder you don't get the narrative if you are skipping important characters. The ending is not open, even if the director decided to go on that somewhat symbolic route. Yuma finally saved the world from something he might have caused himself as a Wonder Boy out of his deep sadness. What Masumi and Ritsu see at the end is the sunshine. Up until then the sky was almost always cloudy.

This show well balances the comedic and dramatic approach of a serious narrative, and it is not the production team's fault if the legendarily mature and sensible MDL commenters (megalol) fail to see Tae Hyun's actions for all their seriousness just because they are committed by a smiling charmer.
