If that gives you a piece of mind, then be it. He clearly hit a nerve.

I am conflicted over him. He is often unnecessarily combative and he cannot stand when someone begs to differ on a content. His taste and judgement could be extraordinarily dense, shallow and superficial but also very poignant and sharp-eyed in other times. I really don't know how he manages to be both but he does. Yet, when it comes to putting puritans and SJWs in their place, especially the tight-arsed ones losing their shit over drunk sex and age consent, he is unbeatable.

For Ji Hyun - I get why he apologized. I mean, I don't know for sure, but I can at least think of a reason, since…
A completely different issue, and adults do not behave as students, seniority system or not. His behaviour was not rude, even by Asian standards, and like I said above challenging the seniority system was a part of this show. So no, it made no sense, and it was out of tune.

Now you are taking Asian bullying over here which is a completely different issue. I have no more time for this abortive replica. Ji Hyun was not rude, even by Asian standards, and I stand by this.

The fact that she said herself he was only sassy is the proof on its own that he was not rude. Even without that it is evident he was not. I have seen several Asian dramas over the years, so no need to lecture me about cultural differences, but that sort of talk would never be considered as rude, not even disrespectful in Asian dramas. His apologia made no sense at all. I get that compromising and being at peace are a part of his personality, but that apologia was still unnecessary, especially since he clearly became bolder.

Ji Hyun did nothing to apologize for and his apologizing made no sense at all. If anyone was rude - not just to him but to everyone else - this bitch was rude and the sassy talking back she received was the minimum she deserved, Ji Hyun was even very elegant and reserved for the sitution, nothing was rude about his sarcasm even by Korean standards. Ae Ri was a lot more combative with both Eun Ji and Tae Hyung, deservedly so and I am quite sure she did not apologize, and so was Bit Na with Tae Hyung. One of the relevant sub-plots for this series was challenging the seniority system that being a few years older makes you better on its own, and abandoning this with such a nonsensical apologia, without the other person who did more harm not apologizing at all is very stupid.

The way Jae Won handled his closure with Eun Ji was fine. He was cool, detached, elegant and adult. But Ji Hyun's apologia for her in the party did not make any sense. He did not do anything to apologize for, on the contrary, she should beg him and everyone else around to forgive her appalling behaviour and nastiness.

How did Tae Hyung feel bad for what he did? He apologized for the disciplinary action only, and very reluctantly so, after babbling that he should have charged Jae Won for his hospital bills. He did not apologize for his vicious mocking and tasteless joking about Ji Hyun's accident or possible death, nor did he apologize for the way he always talked Jae Won down. Jae Won said Tae Hyung did not wear a mask, well that is not true. His friendship with Jae Won was a total mask. Tae Hyung has never been his friend. He was clinging on to Jae Won because of his money and background while he constantly made malicious remarks on him being where he is just because his father. He was jealous of Jae Won and he could not wait to stab him in the back with a disciplinary procedure. He basically provoked him, because he wanted to see Jae Won fall. The perfect way to show Jae Won's leaving his mask behind would have been to tell him he has always been a fake friend and a horrible person at least.

This everyone-feel-good finale was highly inconsistent with the serious tone of the previous episodes. Not only the redemption arc of Eun Ji and Tae Hyung Hyung were forced, but so was the sudden pairing of Yoon Won and Joon Pyo out of nowhere as well as the unexpected reopening of the surf club (which was just as unlikely as disbanding it).

I really loved this series but these all felt like the very Asian insistence on not to leave any antagonists being anatagonists at the end, and cheer up everyone concerned from wall to wall.

Yes, I think Jae Won's meltdown fixed too easily and suddenly like one day he just became happy, I feel like I…

I just love that Kiao and Bamee do not make a fuss about being from two different times and they still love each other regardless. Cooper and Marc have never been more likable than they are here.

I feel like people need to be less desperate for the romance. Okay I get it is a romance but it's also depicting…
Not to mention it is clearly a slow-burning romance and we have just passed two episodes out of 12, and they currently have a conflict. This entire "gimmearomancerightnow!" tantrum is extremely childish.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series, but the last two episodes were a bit of let-down and too didactic. As much as I am happy for them, the problems were solved a bit too easily, the villain and villainess got their redemption too easily, and it was generally too concerned to make everyone happy by the end.

I like from haters to lovers relationship ✹I feel like I wanna watch the next episode immediately 🙂
They never hated each other. On the contrary, they have been attracted to each other since day one. They do have a conflict now but that is anything but hate.

However the age difference, the daddy thing is always weird to me. 😅
Not my cup of tea either, but if that is what makes someone's cock rock hard or arse as wide open as Arch of Triumph, then whatever rocks their boat. But with a ten years age difference it is just ridiculous.

The world goes on but one thing never changes. MDL pissbabies always find a reason to moan. Once when an office romance has more romance than office life, and once when and there is - at this stage - more office life than romance.

I did not say it is wrong, I am frequently horny myself as well. But apprently for some making them horny should be the exclusive purpose of BL.
