The music sounded very much like medieval European flute-playing but it was kinda fitting considering the cosy theme they were portraying. There was also some guitar pieces with English lyrics in there. Backgrounds looked beautiful, really showing off the pretty side of the Japanese countryside. All in all a wholesome film, would recommend this for both BL fans and people who just wanna see a nice looking Japanese movie.
Well, with 2 episodes out I can now say with certainty. I love this show. I'm watching it raw, I think it has yet to be picked up by a fansubber as of now.
Counterpoint to this. He practised the rope-tying on his wrist which makes no sense if he was trying to do something…
Oh the kidnapping attempt in the drama itself wouldn't require the rope. The rope YW bought is for when he already has YH captured to keep him tied up in some room. A likely plan would be for YW to just invite YH to some location and knock him out in some way. Then he would use the rope to properly secure YH and the camera to keep a watch on him. Its definitely not a great plan considering YWs classmates would point him as the first suspect since they know he is a mono. If he did go through with it, he would realistically be caught almost immediately. They can trace items he has bought and its not like he will have a good alibi.
Okay, these are my thoughts and speculations. I think Yeonwoo is starting to have suicidal thoughts because he…
Counterpoint to this. He practised the rope-tying on his wrist which makes no sense if he was trying to do something to himself. He was clearly practising to kidnap YH in my opinion. There is no other explanation for the camera, he wants to keep a constant sight on YH. I don't think he would die before finding out what happened to his mom either if you think about it. His mom is pretty important to him.
Vill is just such a good actress, love seeing her in any drama and Son is a familiar one as well as I had seen a drama with him in it last year. He's much more expressive in this one though which I appreciate. Have been enjoying the series a lot with episodes 1-4 that I've seen up till now. There are some changes from the original but Im okay with it. I can already tell the village people are gonna be fun as they will likely go along with the criminal plan. I loved that about the family in the original too as they have a bit of a skewed idea of morality which they need to have to survive. They are good people in their heart but circumstances force them to make decisions for the greater good.
But yeah the original had a bit more to the plotlines. I don't mind the reduction too much though as I don't wanna directly compare the two. I just wanna enjoy them both in their own way.
