Justice will run its course yes. I'm not suggesting we put up a courthouse on MDL, this is just a discussion that makes no real difference for the whole thing.
My post is just a reminder that while one case may be resolved the other ''alledged' victims are still out there. Whom we have genuine cause to believe because of the apology of Kim Ji Soo. He admitted to being a bully, it seems pretty clear to me there's reason to believe the ''alledged'' victims at least on their general statements of his horrible behaviour.

Posts making it seem like he's an innocent saint now (and you know there are those fans) are deliberately forgetting about/ignoring the other ''alledged'' victims. To avoid the other ''alledged'' victims being forgotten I made my post.

''he apologized and he is certainly not a saint'' Yeah that was my point summarized thanks. Although I will again add there were multiple victims of his bullying antics.

Just a reminder that just because one accusation regarding assault was proven false doesn't take away any of the other bullying accusations. Multiple people came forward regarding the bullying incidents. Of course lying is wrong and I'm glad in this particular case the truth was uncovered as this specific accusation was very serious but it doesn't just magically take away all the other people who accused him of severe bullying.

I'm glad to hear Kim Ji Soo never assaulted anyone but I also know this guy was pretty horrible during his highschool years from the descriptions the other victims gave. Those stories still haven't been disproven and I doubt they will be as Kim Ji Soo has apologised for them.

Title Mermaid’s Jade Spoiler
Actually liked this movie more than I thought I would. Historical Chinese BL with superpower mermaid people. You…
A lot of this is interpretation of my own, just warning. Using my previous experience with watching chaotic cdramas that barely explain their plotline.

1. The dragon war
As for the whole war. Well just accept that Dragons are evil with their poison smoke and let it be. Apparently they have something against mermaids but it's never really explored. Dragons likely have a very slow plan of taking over the world which includes slowely killing off the other fantasy creatures until they can easily overthrow the humans but things didn't work out.

2. The love story explained
I know the love story does seem rushed but I'll try to make it seem a little more logical. You remember how the merman said he had the power to hypnotise for a little while? Yeah guess what he did when they first met. Those random flashes of bedscenes were the main lead getting that hypno mermaid experience.

So after being practically led to have bed fantasies over mermaid guy the love story does progress pretty quickly. Male lead won't kill him and with those fantasies implanted its easy for merman to become his favorite. Yes its not a very romantic idea but the merman is seducing his way into safety which is his survival strategy I guess. I do think merman loved him back as he is prepared to sacrifice everything for him.

3. The ending
So the ending is the most confusing part. Male lead is seen acting on a historical cdrama scene and it seems the entire story wasn't real? Now some can already guess that the mermaid likely made him immortal back when the story happened and now main lead is cursed to roam the earth in search for his lover. As merman told him ''you can't leave me behind'', now he has to wait for merman to return.

So what happened here exactly? Merman gave male lead his power/life force yes but not his soul. So male lead became an immortal cursed to wait for his lover to reincarnate/return. With the curse being lifted symbolically shown as the green silk is blown away.

As for why he wondered onto that filmset exactly... Likely just nostalgia, he has lived so long the memories of his early life keep haunting him. He was just an extra and the filmcrew just seems to be happy not to have to pay him.

Actually liked this movie more than I thought I would. Historical Chinese BL with superpower mermaid people. You can already kinda see in the photos of this drama that it's certainly BL and not bromance.

Has a bit of a strange ending but I've seen enough cdrama do that so I'm used to it. Is it confusing to watch in general? Yes. Getting through this its best to just not think too deeply about the story.

But its great for random interpretations which I will go and do right now for the ending in the spoiler comment. I hope this clears something up for some.

Good first episode, am looking forward to the next one! It set up things pretty nicely for the reason why ML is after FL and all those details ^^
Less comedic than I expected but I like a bit more serious plot too and I have no doubt there will be enough upcoming comedy.

Didn't expect to like this show but it got to me. It just has a lot of ridiculous moments that are a great distraction and the male leads are fun. The songs are pretty random sometimes but I don't mind that. With all BLs I just don't want to get bored and this show hasn't bored me yet.

It's like watching a slow trainwreck unfold for the main lead. Kang Tae Wan and his personal struggles really made the drama worth watching and you really feel for the guy.

Title Light on Me
Can someone explain to me WHY they like this? I'm not being sarcastic, I'm genuinely curious, because this is…
It's not really the highest BL on my list either but its alright. You just have to keep in mind its origin which is a mobile dating sim game. If you keep that in mind the way the characters act becomes a lot more understandable.

They are all befriending the new guy because this is a game world, the characters are dating sim characters that will follow certain typical character types. I've never seen a BL drama based directly on a dating sim game as far as I know so that's why it may feel odd. It's not gonna be realistic and I don't expect it to be.

As for why it's the highest rated BL on MDL, that's clearly just because not a lot of people have rated this show yet. Up till now mostly fans of Korean BL seem to have rated this show. The rating will get lower as non-BL fans find out about this show or BL fans with different expectations join in. WYEL has been rated by ~16.000 and Light on Me by ~400 people. This is just how the system works and has always worked. You can get unpopular movies to be rated a 10 on MDL. Rating doesn't mean a lot until its done by a lot of people.
