I'm gonna be refering to them as ''couples'' whether they have formed yet or not cause the poster/opening of the show is pretty clear about the endgoal.
Current favorite couple is Nampu and Copy (the ones with the scared cat) cause they don't mess around. They get so little screentime but that also forces them to actually develop their couple plotline a lot faster which is nice. The flirting of Nampu is refreshing in comparison to a lot of the other couples slow progression.
Both & NewYear have been together since the beginning which is not something I see often in BL. I will likely remember them for being the relationship therapists to other characters though.
Then theres Phob and MaiEak. Well. They sure are a work in progress. Phob is one of my favorite characters though cause he looks so done with everything a lot of the time. I honestly do want to see how they finish this couples storyline.
What can I say about main couple? They had their moments and a lot more screentime which was nice for them. Not my favorites though and yeah very very slow progression despite the amount of moments. Basketball guys I feel like I barely got to know them so not sure how to feel about that. They exist I guess.
I mean if you like the military then this drama can be interesting. I myself am not very interested in rockets to this extent. A token female character shows up sometimes to still let you know the female gender exists.
Rewatched the ending again. Story may not be for everyone since its very melodramatic and tragic but once you've watched the entire drama the feelings about it remain strong. The drama wraps up beautifully and it leaves an impact.
Thank goodness her electricity appears to only affect peoples love cause yeah she could've electrocuted so many. Very sweet drama with a pikachu female lead but nothing new from a romance cdrama with all its typical moments. Still cute to watch if you have time and wanna see fluff.
I forgot I finished this show so am adding it now. But yeah really entertaining show for those who can appreciate the type of random humour. If you don't like the humour at all after watching a few episodes then the show may not be for you as it does continue like that throughout. Its a very very slow romance but has cute moments that keep you going. Episode 3 was my favourite episode.
When Hikaru Genji went to save Saori from the fake marriage, that was cute ^^ Also glad they cleared up that the family and friends of Hikaru Genji aren't left behind alone and now there's modern Hikaru Genji and old Hikaru Genji. Loved the ending kiss, adorable stuff.
First 2 episodes were fun. Any BL fan who has seen an Ossans Love show before will find themselves getting flashbacks to the original scenes. It was fun recognising them as they happened
wdym? I remember Meguru straight up saying "I'm a guy" to the waiter who served him and Wako drinks served specificially…
He may have given some advice to Renn back when they had their vampire drama together. I've seen Goto Yutaro and Itagaki Rihito in videos and pictures together too though ^^ If you search for ''後藤優太朗&板垣李光人'' you will find those.

Well, in this drama (set in Japan and not America) the androgyny theme is about fashion. As a popular recent fashion trend called ''genderless fashion'' is used by both males and females in Japan to dress in androgynous ways. It doesn't necessarily mean they identify as such for their gender. Their aim is just to be able to wear whatever they want.
The drama is going for the theme of genderless fashion, not for exploration of androgynous identities. In this particular case it really is just about fashion and expression of that. The main leads aren't questioning their gender, they are male but just express that differently than the rest around them.
They do struggle in the world but not because of their identity but because the rest of the world doesn't always accept different expressions of fashion that go against the mainstream. So yes the main struggle for the male leads is just society having only 1 image of the male gender and not easily accepting those who deviate from that through fashion choices. It is about allowing more freedom for males to express themselves comfortably in fashion without shame. Finally watched it! Movie gives a unique insight into the practise of shudō in the past which is rare to see portrayed in Japanese media. Don't expect a wholesome lovestory. Be ready for a grim portrayal of the topic which focuses on the toxic side like the power imbalance.
I suggest those who want to know more about the topic to just search on Youtube. There are some great videos explaining the entire system of that time.
The attention to detail and the way it shows how heavy the influence of gender roles is on lives is really good for such a short show. Some of the moments of the show are recognisable.
It's only 4 minutes long but the episodes have been pretty memorable for either being funny or having some good social commentary. I would recommend watching it if any of what I mentioned sounds interesting to you, just don't expect a complex storyline since the focus is mostly on gender roles.
