Luckily it takes only one look at a users watchlist to find out kind XD Yes definitely a good idea to stay safe. The world of non-BL is a dangerous one.
''Victim A revealed, “We did report him. But [the bullies] weren’t scared of the teachers. I think that was the biggest issue. They’d just bully a different kid, and then a different kid, and the pattern would continue. Later, we began to think that nothing would change even if we reported them. So since then, the kids didn’t dare to report them.” ''

Alright all the people who said ''WHY DID THEY ONLY REPORT IT NOW THAT HE'S FAMOUS?''. Please take a seat. The amount of times I had to read that nonsense from Kim Ji Soo fans here...

I'm thankful you brought it up! I have friends like that as well and it's difficult to see such an open dislike towards anything lgbt being displayed.
I'm fine with people solely liking bromance as I like both bromance and BL stories but some of the comments being made by non-BL fans are just too far. Anyway I usually keep to my BL community bubble but it's unfortunate to see that lgbt acceptance outside of the BL drama fandom still has a long way to go.
I wonder if all these people coming to the "bromance" cdrama pages, talking about the leads' beautiful friendship…
Yeah it's usually number 3. I didn't expect someone to say anything about it to be honest at this point. I kinda gave up on it and just solely discuss the drama with other BL fans. On any uncensored BL page some of the comments that have appeared here would have been criticised meanwhile here they seem to be accepted.
Both friendship and romance interpretations are fine but there's no reason to condemn lgbt (content). Bromance fans, I love bromance too but please mind the use of your words!
Just wanna introduce a website to you guys that Chinese fans use to upload their great edits!!!https://search.bilibili.com/all?keyword=%E5%B1%B1%E6%B2%B3%E4%BB%A4Tons…
I think this censorship of gay romance has actually worked in favour of BL adaptations in China. It allows established…
It did allow for them to finally fulfill the Chinese market demand for BL content in one way. Cause normally the Chinese fans would just check out Thai, Taiwanese or even Japanese BL (there's Korean BL too now but that stuff is fairly new). They will still continue to do that since those adaptations are actual BLs where characters will clearly state their love but this allows them to watch their own domestic productions too.
I don't think drama producers fear fans boycotting over BL content (although I do remember some fans threatened to boycot Untamed over a potential added straight romance). The biggest fear by far is not getting through the censors and being taken off the air by being reported. BL makes money and there are enough fans in China who specifically want to see BL.
just saw clip of simon's first BL drama on youtube not intestinally and I didn't feel comfortable at all ,, Simon…
Advanced Bravely is considered a bromance since it contains no kiss scenes or official declarations of relationships. It may have been originally a BL novel (just like Word of Honor) but its adaptation is censored.
There are no actual BL scenes in the show and I think videos about the show just give the illusion of this since one of the male characters shows his upper body a lot. They also just practice fighting a lot since one of them is a bodyguard.
Yes definitely a good idea to stay safe. The world of non-BL is a dangerous one.
