Alright episode 7 and I'm still majorly impressed by the company president and Senka. Really showing a clear understanding of each others situation and making the best decisions for themselves while keeping the others feelings in consideration. Something characters like male lead and Kasuga Izumi could improve at a lot.
Wow! I actually had once a similar thought: What about a CM only about the mind-reading trope?Although to be honest,…
I love CM the way it is as well. Mayby you'd be interested in checking out Satorare though. It is a straight romance but in this one EVERYONE can read one persons mind (he just isn't aware). Can be pretty fun. https://mydramalist.com/1918-satorare I like Cherry Magic a ton more though for its cuteness.
Episode 2 was cute :D Although I still find it kinda funny that canned food is always the thing that brings the plot towards the solution. People really do change their perceptions with a bit of food in their stomach.
Was planning on just pushing through at least for Kitamura Kazuki and Emoto Tasuku but unfortunately I’m going…
I find it intriguing enough but it's different for everyone. I want to know the answer to the mystery and the drama is doing a good job at keeping the suspense for me. Anyway. hopefully you find another drama you enjoy!
I just have tried rewatching Cherry Maho on Crunchyroll with Nord VPN and find out that the Engsub is really great.…
All I know about the Crunchyroll sub is that Adachi refers to Kurosawa as a personification of sexiness (or something like that) in that first episode XD I think the fansub does a great job but yeah if you can watch multiple versions then it may be interesting to see the differences. Like we've got WeTv, Irozuku, Ichihachi and Crunchyroll from what I know.
I've never heard of another drama whose actors did an event like the one they are doing with Thai fansDoes anyone…
I'm sure they can manage to fill the time somehow. Mayby they'll reenact some of the lighthearted scenes to fill the time? There are a lot of guess-games they can play like in that previous Machida live-event (now deleted) where they just went to guessing words to fill into sentences after asking a ton of questions. But yes it'd be best if they didn't sing, don't want another Hello Hello My Love although I would find it funny XD
Okay then... I am gonna be watching it for Yutaro. The manga does have some funny moments but to see real people acting like BL tropes... I thought that was left behind with the Takumi-kun movies, but here we go again XD It'll be fun though
I'm curious how they'll handle it though and will watch the whole show considering this can be used to show the current state of Japanese BL mangas. I'm also curious to see what vision the director has. I've seen some of his work in the past and he can work with a show that has heartfelt moments and comedy combined. He also directed a new movie of The Novelist recently so he won't be completely new to the subject.
Fans have been waiting for Akaso's post regarding the award and he finally tweeted:The Television 106th Drama…
So Akaso has finally gotten to like the merry-go-round hippo he had to sit on in the amusement park? LMAO I remember those photos of him looking grumpy in the merry-go-round, it was so funny to see. Akaso is indeed good at making lighthearted jokes. Definitely Best Animal Award to Udon-chan, she deserves it ^^
Your reaction is totally over the top. I understand you might have different preferences, but the absence of intimacy…
Yeah there's indeed a lot of unclarity about the exact rules of agencies. I think it highly depends on the individual and the agencies current policy (which may change over time).
However, I'm certain Machida and Akaso didn't actively choose to avoid a kiss scene but were influenced by management-decisions. Which is either from the agencies or from the drama-production itself but indeed no complete ban.
Another happy day for CM fandom! my Twitter TL today is full of happy news ^^Additional info: CM ranked 1st for…
I checked Ossans Love as well and you're right. The critics supported both Ossans Love (2018) AND Kinou Nani Tabeta (2019) but for some reason completely ignored Cherry Magic -___- I'd love to hear their reasoning for voting, unfortunate that we will never know.

I would be surprised if there was absolutely no bias from these Japanese critics. Because BL may have grown in Japan but especially older critics will likely have stereotypes of the BL genre. Of course their own preference is likely for shows they are more familiar with too and Cherry Magic is fairly new in its approach to BL. It's not completely unique but lighthearted BL dramas are fairly new in the jdrama land. Luckily the fans are there to support the show.

Very unique sentence to say as an example but nice Akaso good job! ^^

I guess we will indeed see in the upcoming episodes whether they'll drop more hints/do a reveal.
