Since there's no English subtitles yet (asfarasIknow) I will explain what happens in episode 1 for those curious…
So for episode 1.
6 dudes wake up in a warehouse with a dog-plushy there to tell them its a death-game. The rules are that they can't have like heartbeat-excitement moments as it is measured, basically you can't be too in love with something. When they do have a heartbeat-excitement moment a little sound+red light goes off so they know they're in the danger-zone.
The plan is to ''act normal'' and avoid these excitement-moments so they don't die.
So the main green dude is kinda inspired by/crushing on the motivated beige-shirt dude who tries to be hopeful. This causes an alarm to go off for him first as beige-shirt dude shifts around how he sits in a cute way.
Next black-shirt delinquent guy tries to intimidate glasses-guy which is how its found out that black-shirt delinquent guy is into people blowing air onto their own bangs.
Side-note which I got from the character summaries: This is apparently related to his backstory with a brother of his which I suppose they will go into later.
Anyway now that they know what triggers them they know to be careful. Then otaku idol-guy has a hype moment for his favorite idol and dies out of exciment rip. So they now all know to be careful. This is where the episode ends.
Since there's no English subtitles yet (asfarasIknow) I will explain what happens in episode 1 for those curious about the BL-levels in this death-game. See below spoiler post ->
Poetic description from a Japanese article: A journey under a shared umbrella on a snowy evening. As fine snow falls lightly, ML 1 (Ikebe Ryo) waits for ML 2 (Takakura Ken), wearing a black kimono and holding a white Japanese umbrella. ML 1 takes the hand that holds the umbrella and brushes the snow off ML 2 's shoulder with a towel. Then, slowly, step by step, they walk down the dark, snow-covered street under the shared umbrella.
The two meet in a variety of situations over the course of the movies. Sometimes they are boss and client. Other times they are subordinates and clients of two rival organizations. The two do not necessarily meet happily. They may cross swords. They may even fight over a woman. But in the end, they always end up "traveling the same path."
In this show the psychic powers are more a curse than a superpower. But through all the trials the brothers developed a really strong bond like they are the only ones in the world. They are not afraid to be vulnerable with each other and look out for each other really well.
HONEY TRAP ~Tested Bonds~ What You Taught Me Love Place/HONEY TRAP ~試された絆~ 君が教えてくれたコト Love Place
And was basically seen as a different (BL) route of the story? Or different perspective. To be specific: ''from Mizuki x Atsushi's perspectives''

In this episode they solely play a game of Jenga. That's it, no plot-additions. So only watch if you really love the characters of the original show.
