Ridiculously high ratings for this movie here on MDL. 'Confession of Murder' had potential to be a very good thriller, but the director as well as the stunt team should be ashamed of themselves for the stupid action scenes. Probably the worst action scenes I have seen in any Korean movie lol!
Rains acting is good here, but I feel so put off with the fact that I am watching a drama where not one but two actresses are FUGLY!

I should be fine as long as it's not as painful as my own love story lol! I do remember crying though when I watched Padam Padam lol!

I Hear Your Voice - I have included that on my list of plan to watch. I will definitely look to start Gods Gift 14 Days soon. At the moment however, I'm starting episode 5 of A Love To Kill...it's starting to get interesting now, Rains acting is really good here.

Yeah same here, I haven't had much time to focus on dramas/movies which is why I've cut down. Well I hope you get internet connection very soon.
Have you heard of God's Gift - 14 Days? It's a new drama that everybody is talking about, it's supposed to be about time travel with a lot of suspense. I may start watching it because of Lee Bo Young, there's something about her that keeps me glued to the screen lol!
I haven't started those dramas yet, I'm taking it slow with dramas for now but I am still watching 'A Love To Kill'. I'm spending more time on watching movies. How about you?

Yeah I guess that's really unfortunate. I've been scammed off as well in the past and felt like an idiot. Well, let's hope to be more wiser in future :)
Shame on all the people who ended up watching all 50 episodes lol!

Yes we had great fun and she loved London as well as the food. She got married recently so she arrived with her husband. I will plan to visit them in California next year where we plan to check out San Francisco and then fly out to Hawaii. I need to work on my 6 pack abs now lol!
Damn! How did you manage to get scammed off $2000? Did you manage to recover the money?
Yes I enjoyed Hanzawa Naoki quite a lot, it was an outstanding drama!
Wow! That sounds good! Sounds like you are having a lot of fun :) How are you finding your new job?
Well, on my side...I've not had a chance to make a snowman or igloo because there is no snow here lol, so I've been shopping around a bit and am trying to arrange for travel plans with friends.
I'm gonna spend the next few days showing my cousin around London who arrived from California. I met her for the first time yesterday after 17 years, so it was great to catch up.
Hmmm...new location, rented apartment, new friends, learners permit and opened a bank account - sounds like a good script for a drama :P
I wasn't quite sure as to which Japanese drama should be my first so I decided to go for the immensely popular record breaking drama Hanzawa Naoki.
All I can say is that I absolutely fell in love with this show and it deserves all the hype and attention it's been getting. I mean you can just feel the intensity with each scene (especially the FSA inspections) and it's straight to the point!
More and more people should watch this stuff because not only is it enjoyable but you get to learn a lot. One more thing - Hanzawa is a real bad ass!

I started A love To Kill, not impressed by the first episode but will continue watching. Hanzawa Naoki on the other hand is ridiculously good! You can just feel the intensity in the board meetings and I must say Hanzawa is a real bad ass when it comes to payback!
So how are things with you? How are you finding your new challenges/environment?

Hey there, I'm REALLY sorry for the late reply. I seem to have developed a habit of doing that here on MDL :$
Well, the following Korean movies are the ones I would highly recommend-
Rom com/romance: My Sassy Girl, A Moment To Remember, Daisy (Action and romance), Always, A Millionaire's First Love and My PS Partner.
Action/Revenge Thriller movies: A Better Tomorrow, A Bittersweet Life, Secret, Howling, Mother, A company Man, 'The Good, The Bad, The Weird', Handphone, Fighter in the Wind, Cold Eyes, The Yellow Sea, Bedevilled, The Man From Nowhere, I Saw The Devil and Old boy.
(I know you mentioned that you don't like gore related content, but the last 5 movies on this list have lots of blood and violence, I included them because they are some of the best Korean movies of all time)
War movies: Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War (My all time fav movie), My Way, The Frontline, 71: Into The Fire and Welcome to Dongmakgol.
Crime/Gangster movies (with action): The New World, The Unjust, A Dirty Carnival, No Mercy and Rough Cut.
Drama genre movies: Once Upon A Time in High school: Spirit of Jeet Kune Do, A Barefoot Dream, A Love (Sarang), Untold Scandal, Silmido and Lifting King Kong.
Comedy: Sunny, Attack The Gas Station, Attack The Gas Station 2 and Liar.
Hope this helps :)

I have been thinking about starting the Korean drama 'A Love To Kill' for some time now. Your review helped a lot :)

I haven't started Empress Ki as of yet but will check it out soon as I love the cast. I guess the number of episodes of the whole drama is the reason why I'm not willing to start it right now lol!
At the moment, I am watching Hanzawa Naoki (my first Japanese drama) to see what all the fuss is about and it looks quite interesting.
I'm in the mood for revenge dramas these days and will look to start the following 3 dramas - A Love To Kill, A Man's Story and Innocent Man.
Oh trust me...Five Fingers is one hell of a show! The classical music is only a part of the drama. The main theme is based on revenge, family relationships, betrayal and jealousy.
The story is very deep and unique and in the same time it's addictive as hell.
It's said to be one of the best revenge dramas out there, so if that's your type...you will enjoy this show a lot because the main cast deliver an outstanding performance. South Korea seems to possess great talent...unlike the chubby actors of Pakistani dramas haha :P

Yep! Positive attitude all the way! :D
Yeah the guy playing the Chinese emperor - Ji Chang Wook is a brilliant actor no doubt! I just completed Five Fingers (you need to watch it) recently and he was one of the main actors and did a fantastic job, it's like he can act just through his facial expressions and emotions.
Well I guess Empress Ki will definitely be my first historical drama then :)
