I genuinely do not know what to rate this drama. It wasn’t bad but at the same time it wasn’t good either it was really underwhelming. The first parts were good then the middle was meh and it peaked towards the end then after they killed all the greater demons I was like….okay let’s pack all this rubbish up!! Cause as soon as it started to peak it went right back down and then the show ended. And this is exactly why I refuse to rate a show base on how much I favor the leads… all in all I think the writers and directors couldn’t come to a decision on what they wanted the objective theme to be. Though a little bit clearer, this was the same problem viewers had with “Feud”

Unpopular popular opinion is the only reason ya'll think this season's case are snoozefest is because 98% of them are base on real life events. yes the first seasons were the same where cares were base on real events but this season? almost every case seen are normal day to day occurrences in Korea especially the fixing of games and the abuse of idols for sexwork. They don't need to have wow factors or necessarily show us the villains being punished. These episodes were meant to be sending a message, it all depends on how you're receiving it.

This mindset alone warrants the police to check your community and hard drive. Nobody said anything about her not deserving lead roles; they’re a variety of genre to choose from excluding romance that she can be the leading lady in none of which requires her to film romantic/adult scenes with a man almost twice her age. Romance isn’t even out of the question as long as it’s age appropriate and it’s with someone in her age group. The industry is preying on this young child’s innocence and you people are letting them when you support and defend such rubbish!!!. Would ya’ll be okay with your 17 year old family member kissing a 28 years old and possible older?

There wasn't much substance in the storytelling but this was stil a very fun watch. the story fell very flat but i think the comedy made up for majority of it.

She’s truly truly a terrible actress…. They really need to get it together cause this affects everyone ESPECIALLY her costars!

Ya’ll should be boycotting all her upcoming projects with all these much older men… this is but a 17 year old child and they’re taking advantage of her under the guise of her being talented. She can play lead and support characters that are age appropriate it’s not very hard she’s been doing so since the beginning of her career. What’s waiting 4-5 more years until she’s in her early twenties? Her whole family needs to be investigated and so should all the people who keeps casting her to be paired with these men. I DO NOT care how talented she is. She has always been talented it isn’t new however she’s a child. Stop preying on her innocent mind!

I don’t care how good the shows will be in the future I WILL NOT be watching any of them. And yes I think I’m better than you cause I won’t watch a little girl being exploited by the perverted movie industry just because she needs support and she’s a great actress. SUE ME!

20 episodes out of 38 and it's just filler ep after filler ep. I trusted the comments saying it got better but chile I am not sitting to watch this shiiit any longer. hisses teeth. all of this could've been done in 7- 10 episodes. they wasting my damn time!

Instead of having that idiotic girl waste her time runnng behind a man that don't want her they should've make use of her and pair her with Xia Jing Yan. They would've made the perfect enemies to lovers and I think she would've been able to fix him and his tyrant ways.

unpopular opinion but nothing that happen in Susha after the princess left was Xia Jingshi fault. From the very beginning he made it abundantly clear he never wanted her and even when she kept curry favoring him he kept making his stands clear! She's blaming everybody but the guilty party which is herself! Nobody forced her to steal that token, nobody force her to put a knife to her neck and threatened her brother to let her escape. She did all these things on her own in hopes that Xia Jingshi would see it and fall for her and he never did. She does not deserve to go on a path of a so call revenge when she's only facing the consequences of her own actions! Xia Jingshi is most definitely a evil person and he does not deserve any pity at all; but her getting the eunuch murdered was too much.

NAURR!!!! I said the girl’s a dummy! The second prince would’ve been a much better choice all he would’ve needed is a trustworthy advisor to hound his skills. I’m positive he would’ve made a sage ruler

Suige wouldve made a fine ruler i don’t think he’s arrogant.i just think just like his mother he’s strong willed and refuse to be bind or controlled. I’m sure is father wasn’t like what we saw when he first marry, he later on became consumed by power and controlling and that’s why i think the late empress wanted the choice of being the crown prince and ascending to be totally Suige decision.she first handedly saw how power changed her husband I guess

They should’ve made the second brother to that. And have a trusted advisor with him since he’s not mature enough and easily swayed. I don’t know if later on he’s gonna change because of his mother and grandfather manipulation but as far as I’ve see he’s a good person through and through.

That’s rubbish. Here’s my thing here, she’s not being manipulated, she’s not being force, she has long seen that the price has no feelings for her and even if later on he somehow develop some for her it still isn’t worth hurting someone like her brother who would’ve gone to hell to keep her safe. She lowering herself and becoming a traitor to her own people just because she lacks love and touch is just really something…let’s not forget that her choice caused several to be injured and some even died. She not only betrayed her country as the state princess but she’s also a huge disappointment when you look at how she used her brothers love for her too escape and her fathers care and trust to steal his token. The girl is a full on weirdo and she does not need to be forgiven as she’d already cross too many boundaries that should never be cross. I would’ve understood if she was atleast being manipulated and the person whom she’s risking it all for deserved her effort or treated her well atleast ONCE but none of that happened. Just let me know if they redeem any of the villains cause if they should’ve given anybody a chance it should be the marquis son and I’m saying this heavily. What he did was the worse kind of betrayal and I think he’s worse than evil but at the same time some part of me sees where he’s coming from. If my father choose to protect another kid instead of me then had to block me with his body from getting stabbed all while being left in the wilderness for what seems like days then to make matters worse damn near exile to the barracks I would’ve crashed out in some ways too. Everybody would’ve gotten it. But yeah just lemme know if they redeem any of the villains to force a happy ending

There's absolutely no way to redeem characters like these. some things are simply unforgivable. The only redemption old girl deserve is pity for being dumb while we watch her die and all the scenes of her bending over backwards for that degenerate playing as flashbacks.

The king he's portraying is base on an ACTUAL king; Yeonsangun of Joseon who was infact a Tyrant king base on history. That's why the drama is called that.... How many times did the female lead point that out too? However the drama is basically showing his side of story in a way to say "he's not an actual tyrant, they murdered his mother then cover it up" You're obviously slow that's why you haven't been able to understand all this time. Just like the chinese drama a dream within a dream; The script read by the Fl lead and the person the ML was when she entered the script differed, it's the same here!

Chile i'm not doing this with you....He killed alot of people all in efforts to learn the truth behind his mother death. That's where the fear of him and him being a tyrant came from ACCORDING to this script. However what's recorded in history is totally different, he was listed as a tyrant who murdered his subjects, used women etc etc. In ACCORDANCE to this script and series he was NEVER an actual tyrant just a hurt little boy chasing the truth behind his mother's death. A grey misunderstood character if you will. Again please for the love of God rewatch the show and leave me alone cause why am i arguing with you about whether he killed a group of ministers or not when that's also one of the reason the prime minister was on that ass?
