Well it’s not explicit plagiarism but there are traces of copying of other traumas won’t say any names that were least last year and late the year before that had similar themes that’s enough clues for you to figure out what I’m referring to
My last anf finale comment is the whole production crew and i mean every single person when i say this needs to take a break....a very looooong unpaid break, infact everybody need to quit. sexual assualt and grooming back to back with none of them being properly address? we're in 2025 ya'll really need to stop letting shii like this slide. I saw a rape attempt in "a dream within a dream" and in "in the name of blossom" then they had grooming and the sa's from forcing kissing by fl to ml in this and NONE of them were properly addressed in either of these drama, I mean this is three drama's i've seen so far and well ............victims truamas aren't your costumes. If you're gonna draumatized their story you also need to address the root. and I know everybody think i'm going overboard but i just genuinely can't look past no scene where SA and rape is involved.
apart from that the story was still very much doo doo poop. Bad storytelling, plagiarization, inconsistent plot flow and just overal a wast of my damn time, upsetting!
Just like everybody forgave Do Yu Gyeong as if she didn't commit medical malpractice out of jealousy and low self-esteem I'm sure they'll be throwing a pity party for both Kang Mi-ran and Choi Ja Yeong.
These writers needs to be so freaking forreal right now. Yu Gyeong committed a real crime and regardless of whether she regrets her action or not she deserves to be punished. Jae-In could've hurt herself really badly or even die taking those pills; but all of that has been forgotten and forgiven. Like even if they didn't want to press charges or legally pay for her crimes at the very least she should've been on them knees begging for forgiveness and express remorse.
I hope to God they don't (They're going to anyways) throw a pity party for Kang Mi-Ran regardless of the circumstances, she's 100% wrong for abandoning her child and Gyu Cheol is way worst blind siding his wife. Choi Ja Yeong won't ever get unnecessary pity or empathy from me but in a case like this where both your husband and sister-in-law basically forced you to raise a child under the guise of it being a "love child". I don't know many people who could endure such humiliation. You not only found out your husband was a "cheating" bastard but that he also brought in BASTARD to take the place of YOUR child in the company simply because she was borned the "wrong" gender. Her crashing out is justified ion care; If i was her I would've secretly gather reporters and even that anonymous youtuber and leak everything from the fact that the aunt helped to forge family pictures and documents to the fact she abandoned her own child.. Not a single soul would be having a moment of peace around here.
Also this show is very unrealistic....like the writers aren't even trying to make certain legal aspect appear believable just straight trash...omg Do ya'll understand that with the amount of crimes Kang Sae Ri has already committed with ALL of them having circumstantial evidence...Like at the very least if not charge her ass should atleast be on probation!
The more I'm thinking, it's the more ridiculous it keeps getting and it's proofing how terrible the writing is. And ion wanna hear it's cause it's a daily or because it has alot of episodes. These daily drama writers have the sauce they ass just lazy and won't cook!
I'll be honestly this wasn't all that. there was just way too many misunderstanding and back and forth, The middle was too draggy and FL took way too long to gain full consciouness and act like she has some sense, also the constant chasing was annoying. But I must say the last 5-10 episoodes were exceptional, definitely stayed on theme and didn't disappoint me at all. I only wished they gave Gui Hong a better ending. something like having him imprison but all his past friends and family would like come visit him and try to get him back to his old self.
Somethings to note: Nan Rui, Fu gui, Duanshan Hu and Ji xiang were definitely my favorite characters, I genuinely believed the Emperor was let off way too easily for how poor he handled his grieve of the empress, he should've atleast sincerely apologized and took a few days to feel some real deep regrets. I hate how they brushed over the fact that Song Yiting is a little attempting rapist....I really don't care what her circumstances were that shii was weird! furthermore she never came clean because of her dignity but i saw everyone ridiculed Nan Heng cause they thought he did .... to her. I wish they never hong Li shi liu/sixteen character so quickly the costume was genuinely sick instead they should've passed it on to the next boss.
All in all a solid 8/10 just because of everything that happened in the middle. Alot of weird shii happened that were never addressed so i can never give them a ten but they 8 at the end! nibbled even.
Alright chile, lemme go finish fukass "The Princess‘s Gambit" so i can ruin my morning for no reason. 31 episodes in and it has been nothing short of plot holes inconsistent storytelling and a rapey relationship between the leads. so far they've had three kiss, all were forced and aggressive basically SA and one of them led to sleeping together.... I really don't know how to feel but I'm sure ion like the overall story. scriptwriters need the guillotine for what they're presenting on my screen as normal!
I swear to God if the ending aint decent, it'll be nothing but negativity in the comments over there!
