I think what really went wrong with big is that the writer thought so big that the story went out of control, her dealt with lots of "risky" issues at the same time, Big Age gap, a teacher-student relationship and body swap, it's only natural I guess that the drama ended up with a missed up, chaotic ending.

I hated the old version so much to the point I dropped the thought of watching it even though it had some very good reviews
