does anybody know why all the 100 coins showing head?
I'll bet they're coins that show head on both sides. Must've been a new trick for those yamen guys and none are bright enough to simply turn one coin and look to the other side, LOL.

They didn't just spoil the whole plot and romance angst in the description above. 😭 Killed my excitement.
They spoiled the general plot of the first 9-10 eps. There's twice as many eps to tell the rest of the story.

They just introduced the case where people go blind. Which means the hot scene where PY is blindfolded and SZ…
I'd love to see it... just hope it's not too close in set-up and execution to Ming Ye being blind and saved by Sang Jiu (through overcooking, LOL), because TBH there are some places in both dramas that feel a bit similar (though obviously not the same).

Any guesses on who the courts yamen spy is?
The registrar is presented hard as the possible spy. He has access to writing tools and pretended to want to see Gu Yong before he was sent away (so he had a chance to swap the red seal ink with one including a poisoned needle) and then when the jail went on fire (well, more like in smoke LOL) he was coughing up a storm - I guess he inhaled some of that smoke while setting it.

Unless it's a red herring, obviously. I just don't want it to be A-Ze because he's given Ling'er some fruits and he's obviously shipping PY with Zhi very hard, LOL.

LOL poor kid got friendzoned so fast, MY ears are ringing hahaha~I knew that song would be how it happens, so…
She's trying hard to still hide, right? RIGHT? And so she decides to teach ALL the beggar kids the song only she and Pan Yue know, so that man - who DEFINITELY won't EVER have to do with any beggar kid caught stealing or something, because he's just the head of the freaking POLICE, that's why - will obviously hear it sooner or later.

Ah, Madam/Mister Scriptwriter, we're going to have some words...

I loved the actress who played Gu Shan. She went all into it - action scenes, emotional scenes, I believed her completely. THAT's a good actress. I hope I see her in more dramas.

LOL @poor A-Ze. He's trying, but to no avail...

Pan Yue: You'd rather move in with them too, wouldn't you?
A-Ze (screaming ~YES!!!!~ on the inside): ...No.

For a smart kid, Jiang-ge, you're definitely very stupid. It's painful seeing XiaoSheng pining over him and deciding not to come between him and CaiWei/Zhi, and he doesn't even see her yet (more than a fun new friend, for the guy who could count his friends before on one digit.) I liked how Zhi solved it - listen here, A-Jiang, we're besties and that's all we're ever going to be. He also took it pretty well apparently, despite the miraculous removal of meowing cats and the apparition of chestnut cakes and dinner and wine LOL. I wish he'd open those cute and loving eyes and point them in XiaoSheng's general direction.

But @!@#$%#$@!!!! that cliffhanger. And now the schedule is doing handstands whenever Youku wants it to and we're going to get EXTREMELY frustrated in short order LOL. Don't ask me how I learned that (but yes, Youku was the cause then too.)

If he decides to pretend he doesn't know, I'll go to Ancient China and teach him some manners.

PS That blind guy is also handsome, please be some innocent guy and not the devil, LOL.

PPS The new cook though... "This is bland, this is cold, this is hard, I have no appetite, I'll be leaving" - Whoosh there goes employment LOL.

I knew that song would be how it happens, so it didn't really come as a surprise. But the end of the episode is cruel - CRUEL, you hear me, Mr. Director? - and I want more right now.

What Why?
That's a Youku thing. Let's hope they don't change it again (because they like to do that.)

But thank you for posting the updated schedule :D

maybe this a bad choice to get into cdrama bcs why is the acting so cringe ??? also why is the sound quality so…
I think the sound is a problem on certain platforms. Someone said a while back they were watching on Amazon Prime IIRC, and there were sound problems. There weren't any on NF that I can recall. It might be a technical issue...

Every kind of drama takes a little getting used to it, depending on your experience with other Asian dramas. I don't find the acting on TU to be cringy, and it actually helped getting me into cdramas after a very long time (the last I'd had seen before was from the 90s, some wuxia old story). But it definitely is different from other countries' styles and also, not every genre is to the taste of every watcher. Give it a bit of a chance, if you will, maybe you'll actually like it in the end.

First 4 were a hot mess, middle 4 are a huge improvement. It'll have to be a wait-and-see game before we know…
Given how bad the first 4 were, the next 4 being better doesn't even mean that much, LOL. (And I mean technically better - better edited, better flow, some actual progress to the plot, etc. Not that they suddenly made a better plot or had some of the cast act better.)

Title The Impossible Heir Spoiler
What I dont get is....Why Taeho decided to stay as basically Inha's lap dog? Why didn't he create a plan for himself…
He wanted to be the kingmaker and dealer in the shadow of the throne, and underestimated what KIH is capable of. Also, KIH turns out to be way smarter than he ever let on, preparing a sidekick for shady deals, and also being extremely ruthless even with anyone who DOES do his bidding.

I guess he got really pissed off by HTO dismissing his intelligence throughout the years and he let HTO "manipulate" him as it was the easiest way to get where he wanted to with less effort on his part, but once he got in, he didn't need a handler any more.

What doesn't compute is that the fact he picked the FL because it was a way of getting back at HTO and not getting caught while hurting him, but then he seems to be jealous over HTO being with her for that night? Because why? If he was only watching them for some material to feed Inju and let him force HTO into submission, why would he care they actually got one night together?!

Maybe he did fall in love with her in the end and now he's been forced to see he's no. 2 again, he cracked even more than before.

Anyway - HTO is kind of too focused on his own set goals and never realizes the bigger picture. For a supposed genius, he likes wearing eclipse glasses in front of every small light of truth that comes his way.

I wonder if they CAN solve the whole mess in just 4 eps... and/or if they were supposed to prepare for a possible second season? I mean, the last 4 eps are basically The Count of Monte Cristo (if he ever manages to get out of prison, LOL), and that book is huge :D

Does anyone know what’s the reaction from Knetz/Skorea audience of this show so far? Do they like it??I haven’t…

Another two good episodes - why couldn't they do this for the first four, too, since obviously they're capable…
So KIH is a back-stabber (no big surprise), no-romance part of the drama still works perfectly, I just hope it doesn't end with ~everybody ded~.

Also I really really hope KIH won't hold HTO's mom over his head, since I highly doubt she could find out about such news in that monastery she's been in for the past who-knows-how-many years.

As for the FL, well, you reap what you sow.

I just have to ask - why is it ALWAYS 2PM's Lee JunHo? He has plenty of dramas under his name, he's recognised for his acting skills, is he even that active in the group? I mean, his name probably has more recognition on its own that in the group's name. Or is that it? Are they trying to bring the group somewhat into the light whenever LJH is mentioned?

Also, is there some term for when the drama would be aired?
